Pumpkin in tomato sauce

tomato juice

Cooking method

  • Peel the pumpkin and cut into pieces, the onion into cubes, the garlic finely with a knife.
  • Preheat the oven to 160 grams C. In vegetable oil, fry the pumpkin pieces until golden brown. Put in the form. Fry the onions.
  • Add the garlic to the pan and fry for 1 minute, then add the volume. juice and sugar and cook over medium heat until the mixture is like a sauce. Add seasoning to taste and salt and pepper. Place the pumpkin slices in a mold and pour in the tomato sauce. Bake for 35 minutes, so that a brown crust appears on the bottom and caramelized on top. Serve immediately. Cold is also very tasty. I did the same in sour cream sauce (all the same, only instead of tomato, sour cream). Also very tasty.
