Fried halibut in semolina


Halibut (large) 1 PC
Egg 1 PC
Semolina for breading
Lemon 1 PC
Salt (preferably coarse)
Pepper (preferably white)
Oil for frying

Cooking method

  • Clean the halibut from scales and entrails.
  • Cut into fillets.
  • Fried halibut in semolina
  • Cut the fillet into portions, salt (with coarse salt, since the fine salt immediately begins to draw out the juice) and pepper, transfer to a deep bowl.
  • Beat the egg and pour into a bowl with fillets, mix gently.
  • Heat a skillet with butter over medium heat, and roll the fillets in semolina and put them in the skillet.
  • Fry until crisp, turn over and fry on the other side until crisp. Do not fry the fillets over high heat, as the crust will burn, and the fillet inside will not have time to fry.
  • Put the finished pieces on a paper towel folded in several layers, it will absorb excess oil.
  • Serve with lemon!
