Ingredients

For the test:
Flour 400 g
Sugar 100 g
Butter 200 g
Eggs 2 pcs.
Zest of one lemon
Vanilla sugar 1 tbsp. l.
Baking powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 chips.
For the curd filling:
Fatty cottage cheese 750 g
Sugar 200 g
Eggs 2 pcs.
Butter 100 g
Zest of one lemon
For the poppy filling:
Poppy 250 g
Honey 6 tbsp. l.
Raisins 50 g
Rum or cognac 3 tbsp. l.
Eggs 2 pcs.

Cooking method

  • Preparing the base. Mix flour with baking powder and sugar, grind with butter until moist crumbs are obtained.
  • We beat in eggs, add zest and vanilla sugar, knead a homogeneous plastic dough.
  • Wrap in plastic and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Cooking curd filling. Beat the cottage cheese with eggs, sugar, melted butter and zest until a very homogeneous and fluffy mass.
  • Pour the raisins with alcohol. Fill the poppy with boiling water and let it stand for 5 minutes, then decant the water. Grind the poppy seeds in a blender or coffee grinder. Mix raisins, poppy seeds and honey in a saucepan, put on fire and let the consistency boil. Remove and cool. We drive in eggs.
  • Roll out 2/3 of the dough and put it in a greased rectangular or square shape (I have 24 * 24) so ​​that the sides come out with a height of 5 cm.
  • We spread the curd filling on the base.
  • Gently put the poppy filling on top and level it.
  • The remaining dough is thinly rolled out and cut into strips 1.5-2 cm wide.Place the strips on the pie in the form of a grid.
  • Cool in a mold, then remove and cut into pieces.

40-50 minutes

Cooking program:

We put the pie in the oven and bake at 180 degrees.
