Here is my cobblestone. Delicious! True, I regretted the sugar, I thought that the recipe would be sugary. Here in Israel we have not very good berries, but fruits all year round. Plums and apples turned out to be at home, and I used them, but it turned out sour. I also added cinnamon for flavor and goodness. The conclusion is this: you can have less fruit, otherwise I have a compote (although I cut less than 1 kg.) I will work on sugar
Lola , thanks for the unusual recipe. It is very much in my style, as I do not like long and complicated recipes.

Lola, tell me what should come out of the test? The fact is that the children and I put all this beauty in the oven and went for a walk. The timer turned off the oven, but our dad didn't think to take out the form. It turned out to be quite dense, crispy on top, let's call them buns. What's in the original?
Lola
Agnes the so-called buns are obtained, which are soaked in fruit juice during the cooking process, and on top they are really crispy. Did you like it?
Agnes
Yes, the recipe is great. I did it with berry platter, I took 700g of berries, still a lot of liquid is obtained. In the dough, part of the sugar was replaced with 2 bags of vanilla. I think it's better to take vanilla essence. Or sprinkle the berry-fruit part with cinnamon. There is a field for experiments!
Thank you!

Well, wow, girls, I baked this cobblestone again two hours ago, and here you brought up the topic Only today I have a failure. I used freshly frozen berries, and the berries did not defrost well .. I thought they would go faster in the oven (the microwave defrosted them slowly). In short, I put koloboks on top of the snow. 40 minutes passed, the koloboks turned red, but not as big as usual. I took it out and picked it up, and there was raw dough from below. Another 20 minutes. raw dough was also baked. Then another 20 minutes .. In general, damn lumpy, but I ate my dose. In general, another warning, defrost the berries completely.

Girls, and fruits (apples, pears) if large - cut? slices or cubes? what pieces should be in order to bake everything?

Yes, the recipe is great. I did it with berry platter, I took 700g of berries, still a lot of liquid is obtained.

I took exactly a kilo of fruits and berries (a package of thawed strawberries, 3 small pears, a banana, canned peaches). The main water was from strawberries, although the juice was drained from it. And if 700g of defrosted berries - then I can imagine how much liquid there was.
And it seemed to me that you can use less sugar - both in the dough and in the berries.
In general, the recipe is very interesting, I was afraid that the cobblestones would taste. No, cobblestones - because when baked it looks like a cobblestone pavement)))

Delicious pie. Only my cobblestones were for some reason very soft, as if there was not enough flour (I will put more the next time). I laid them out with spoons. And when they were baked, they just grew in breadth. You also need something sour. And very ice cream on a plate nearby asks
And the best part is that everything is done quickly and easily. I love these recipes.

I constantly look towards this recipe, but while I restrain myself with a huge effort of the girl's will, I wanted to ask, who is this "flour with baking powder"? Pancake, or what? Can I take plain flour and add baking powder to it?

Zest,
it means you take regular flour, and add either baking powder (sold in small bags) or slaked soda to it.
The pancake is definitely not needed.

Girls who have not tried "Fruit Cobblestone" yet - I highly recommend it! It is very easy to prepare, it will not take you much time and effort, and the result ... is fantastic !!! The amazing aroma of berries and fruits, like when making jam, filled the whole apartment ... Before I could stop looking at it, my eaters had already "sentenced" him ...
Lola, thank you ... big-big-big ...

Well, yes, Baking Dough by Dr. Oetker is constantly available. And then I already thought, maybe the industry has released some unprecedented kind of flour?))
There is such an "unprecedented" flour, I bought this one out of ignorance right before purchasing HP, now I don't know what to do with it. It is called self-rising. It is already mixed with baking powder. Here for "Cobblestone" is probably just right

Girls, how is it? Spoons or what?

Well, in general, it will certainly be more convenient with spoons, because these buns are served along with fruit and berry sauce, obtained from fruit and berries, with which they were baked, but ... if you really want to (and you can't refuse yourself), you can handles, and then lick the sauce off the plate!
P.S. At one time I just started cooking these cobblestones, until mine prayed, stop, that's enough! Really delicious !!!

I am delighted! You can just swallow your tongue.
By the way, I did it from frozen berries and did not defrost them beforehand, nevertheless, everything was baked perfectly

Carauuuul Pull me away from the bowl, otherwise I’m cracking the whole pie for the night, it’s so delicious stuffing made from frozen - black. currants, cherries, strawberries and 1 apple - total 670 gr. Fast, simple and stunned like yum-yum (I'll burst right now)

Lola, I bring you a plus sign and a photo report. It turned out very tasty, but my husband liked it the most, he said that we would do more with other berries. Made with strawberries and apples. Vkusnotaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Tell me, is it really possible to bake this in a multicooker? I really want to, but there is no oven.
Elya_lug
kolobashka, I was also interested in this question. Baked in a cartoon, so you can!

Lola, thanks for the easy delicious recipe! I added homemade yogurt to the dough, because there was no yogurt. There weren't many berries, I didn't weigh them, the cherries covered the bottom well, and a couple of raspberry cakes on top. I baked in a Panasonic multicooker 18, set the time to 50 minutes, the first 10 minutes it warmed up, and at that time I put everything in the bowl. So pure baking for about 40 minutes. It turned out delicious, we ate 2 buns each and my husband said to hide it further. It looks not very good, because the top is not browned, and instead of baking powder, soda and citric acid were given yellow blotches, but I will still bake it anyway. I can imagine how delicious it will be with apricot.

Lola, from our family, also take gratitude for the recipe! Baked repeatedly, juicy and tasty! But, here's the truth, every time the cooking time is different. Then after 30 minutes. ready, or even 50 is not enough, what depends on, I did not understand.Today there was a banana, a strawberry, an apple and a plum, and I was in a hurry and melted everything, and again it turned out very tasty!
