Ingredients

Dry yeast 1 1/2 tsp
Wheat flour, 1st grade 500 g
Salt 1 1/4 tsp
Margarine 35 g
Sugar 3 tbsp. l.
Rust oil non-refiner. 1 tbsp. l.
Whole milk 330 ml
Poppy (for sprinkling) 5 g

Cooking method

  • Put all ingredients in a bucket according to the instructions. Switch on the Diet (Whole Grain) Bread program, size L (large). Before baking, grease the top of the roll with milk and sprinkle with poppy seeds.

I did it on pressed yeast with an expiring expiration date, moreover, I put 10 grams of everything, then I already read that they put more. I kneaded the dough in HP, did not follow the process, I do not know how much it rose in HP, after kneading, I formed a bar and put it in a mold, I have it like this:

Size, mind you, 31x11x11 - not small at all! And what do I find when I walk into the kitchen an hour later? The dough is out of the mold! It's just some kind of horror that is being done)) Usually, I bake under the lid, because my oven mercilessly burns bread on top, and then I had to put it as it is, because you can't shove it back ... I don't know, which in the end will turn out, but by all indications the bread according to this recipe is simply airy. If I can still bake something decent without a lid, I will certainly post it. And to the author - respect and respect))) Next time I will do a recount, otherwise we will eat such an elephant for a week and will not eat it))

But I wonder - what is it about this test that makes such a crumb consistency? Liquid / flour ratio? The gingerbread man was ordinary, even a couple of tablespoons of flour poured during formation, when she took out the dough for forming a loaf - it was a little sticky ...in general, nothing special. Maybe my last proofing was very long? The dough has increased three times, not less, usually I send it to the oven for x2, but here I missed it.

More precisely, the bread was obtained, but completely without taste and smell. And here - real BREAD, delicious and aromatic. I cooked on the regime - French, weight - 750 grams, dark crust.
