Bananas with bacon

Ingredients

fresh banana 1 PC.
puff bacon 2-3 strips
Champagne or soft table white wine 1 tbsp. l.
Vegetable oil (preferably olive oil) 1 tsp for frying
Sauce, sweet and sour syrup 1-2 tsp

Cooking method

  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan (splashing!).
  • Wrap the banana with bacon.
  • Put the banana cocoon in a pan and fry a little in oil until golden brown.
  • We turn the banana over to the other side, pour champagne or wine on the banana, let it fry a little more until it is light ruddy
  • It is necessary that the banana inside warms up, but does not fall apart until mashed.
  • Serving:
  • Put ready-made bananas on a plate, on top of a banana and pour a little sweet and sour sauce over the plate, you can add a few slices of thin lemon, or a few cranberries or lingonberries. The acid will emphasize the bland taste of the banana and the taste of salty bacon.
  • In my version, bananas are sprinkled with orange syrup, a very pleasant orange flavor!
  • A great option for a festive, beautiful snack for those who love hot, fried bananas!

And I do another trick with bananas - I wrap bananas with blanched spinach, thinly beaten pork, then in batter and in a frying pan - it's also very good. Spices to taste.

This recipe is old and well-known. And of course nourishing and fatty. And the combination is not for everybody. So are the figs in bacon.

There is very little oil here (even less is possible), and is only needed to activate the frying of the bacon and glaze the bacon until it shines.
If you start frying without oil, you will have to wait a long time for the fat from the bacon to begin to fry from the bacon, and it can burn during this time.
