Good day! I was in the subway and when I saw a bread maker, I caught fire to buy it. I used to pass by, but then something clicked in my head)))) now I'm trying to bake for the second day. Yesterday I baked according to the RolandSa Albanian recipe, this is what happened:Baking in Alaska-VM 2600

It was her own fault that the sides were damp, she wanted to fry the crust, and the stove was tired and did not turn on at 12 mode. In the end, I waited 10 minutes and pulled out of the mold, but the sides had time to get wet.

I just don’t understand why my upper crust turns out to be pale? What can be done to make it darker?

Good evening!
I am new to your forum and I ask to be accepted into your ranks. Today I saw a bread recipe on page 1 in this section, and my husband and I decided to play this product. I will say right away - we have had CP for a long time, more than a year, but it was used only once and then it all ended sadly. They cooked according to the recipe in the instructions and after baking our long-suffering loaf sank right before our eyes. After this attempt, I no longer touched the technique. But today I made up my mind, and this is what happened, though I forgot to put the butter in a hurry, but it still turned out delicious

They could not stand it, cut it off right hot, the smell floated awesome, even the tomcat closed his eyes. But the knife remained inside, it will cool down, I will pull it out.

I really want a bread maker, even yesterday I went to look at Metro 2080r, and my friend says it's not profitable, a lot of email. energy takes. Tell me who is right? I wanted to look at my passport, and there it was in different languages, but not in Russian and he knew what kind of electricity consumption there was. In the city that is nonsense, but at the dacha there we have every kW on the account.
Viki
vera100865, You did not indicate in your profile where you are from, but judging by the price in rubles .... we thought that it turned out that for 1 Ukrainian hryvnia you can bake 8 times, but for one y. That is, respectively, 8 times 8 times. It takes only one last hour of the power declared by the manufacturer, and then intermittently. The power consumption is minimal.
vera100865
THANKS Everybody is running to buy right now. And we ourselves will be from St. Petersburg. we have 1 kW 2.55r but with NG everything will rise in price, but this is nonsense, at the dacha there is dosed el. give energy therefore the question arose. My husband says that I should take some other stove, but I have already fallen in love with all YOU in absentia, and your recipes have spit out saliva. Until then on the forum.

Hello! I bought my mother Alaska as a gift, but so far something is not very good about her bread. I baked it according to recipes I tested (I have Panasonic) - three times it turned out heavy and dense with a stuck shoulder blade. Yeast Saf-moment. Maybe someone faced such a problem, or a defective stove

Good evening! I am a newbie and I have the same problem. At first I even thought that it should be so, that it is okay to pick her out every time. I thought it was a matter of the correctness of the test, I got the perfect bun, as in the photo from Admin, but the spatula is still there.
So what's the deal?
Lika
The spatula is often left in the bread, for this a special hook is attached to it.

There are a lot of options, from the wrong program to the quality of flour. I myself bake in two HPs at the same time and from the same products, everything is fine.
What was the recipe for what program was baked in Alaska and Panasonic, did they use the same products than they measured? The more you tell us in more detail, the faster we will find the answer.
Morozko
Baking in Alaska-VM 2600
Baking in Alaska-VM 2600
The bread was baked according to the recipe for white bread from the instructions for Panasonic:
1.5h l. yeast (Saf-moment)
500g. flour (Ashanovskaya in a white package)
1.5h l. salt
1.5 st. l. Sahara
1.5 st. l. vegetable oils
330ml liquid (water + Agusha fermented milk)
Basic mode. The kolobok was correct (the treatise on the kolobok was studied in a year of studying the site)
This time it seems to be better, but it is still heavy, dense and smells of yeast. The scapula is again inside (or does it always remain there?) In the second photo, the same bread from Panasonic.
Morozko
Yes, I forgot to say that I always measure everything on an electronic scale. And I use this flour very often and there were no complaints (even though the word "bakery" is not written on it) My bread is so tanned because it was not immediately taken out of the bucket and it stood on heating.
I really hope for your help, or can I find fault with Alaska too much?
Lika
The bread looks absolutely normal. The size differs from the Panasonic one, because the shape of the buckets is different.
This time it seems to be better, but it is still heavy, dense and smells of yeast.
And his roof was blown off, the yeast did not work as it should.
Try to bake the same recipe, but reduce the amount of yeast to 1 tsp and pour in the liquid warm, in Alaska there is no heating, it immediately kneads.
Mode 1 - basic, size 2.0 LB, medium crust.
Morozko
Thank you for quick answer! The liquid was at room temperature, I will try with warm one. And how to use yeast from the freezer (10 grams each) in it, probably you can't just put it with all the ingredients? And another question: does the bookmark order matter?
Lika
The order of the bookmark does not matter. Dilute live yeast from the freezer in warm liquid and as soon as they come to life start kneading.

take to the ranks of the Alaska breeders!
I bought myself this device before NG! baked well, so colorfully told her friend that she tearfully begged her from me! (she herself has no opportunity to get on the subway)
after NG I bought myself HP and again alyasochka!
apparently the bread maker is different!
Alaska No. 1 has a kneading knife never stuck in bread,
in alaska # 2 it happens all the time
but! In Alaska # 1, bread always turned out (according to what program I would not make) such an interesting structure-like cake or what?
and in Alaska # 2 it turns out different, including porous white bread with a CRYSTY crust!
so far I was baking bread only on recipes from a bread machine! everything seemed to work out (bread for sandwiches is especially good - it is in the role of bread for butters)
there are no electronic scales, but I think I need to buy this device.
and so - for that kind of money - the best option.
By the way, my husband did not eat practically bread - now I do not have time to bake, the trousers are already barely converging. so for 2090 rubles, I think this is a very good purchase!
Morozko

Like a cupcake, how's that? Lower and tighter? And there are no photos left?

They have already warned many times that the recipes from the instructions should not be used, there is a crazy amount of yeast, and there are many mistakes.
Diana 74
I've heard a lot about the recipes from the book, but I really wanted to try the device, but it didn't work, so I baked from the recipes. yeast seems to be not very much 1 tsp. on prescription. Today I baked traditional white bread only with the addition of raisins, we liked it. there is a photo and I have not yet figured out how to upload it.
but about Alaska No. 1, there was no bread left, and the texture he had was named but this - lower and denser without airiness or something. both baked with the same flour and yeast. The yeast was first bought by Dr. Orketr and then my husband brought 100 gr.a pack of Voronezh yeast - and it costs about 12 rubles - like a small Orchetr, and there is absolutely no difference in the quality of the bread.
I made dough in Khlebopushka for whitewash (the dough is sooo very tender and pliable) and for buns. Although in the recipes for HP there are no dough recipes I took from the Internet and instructions for another HP (like moulinex), so the dough for buns seemed to me rather bland - my victory was already that after baking it turned out to be a real soft baking and not a monolithic crust - as it was before I got it, even though I made the dough myself, even bought it. so these are the first steps in communicating with a bread maker.
Sonata
And I want to praise our bread machine once again! Yesterday I decided to bake honey-mustard bread. and did not think that the proportion should be recalculated, there was 1.25 kg. Eh, I think, well, what will be will be. And she mixed everything well, baked it! Clever stove!

Today, through long readings of recipes for rye-wheat bread on the forum, I have compiled an ideal recipe for myself. I read for a long time, because there is no panifarin, no malt, no kvass wort, in general, nothing is needed. In the end, I got by with dark beer and semolina. Baked in "manual" mode, rose quickly and beautifully near the battery. I was afraid that it would smell like beer, but no, only the aroma of malt and its color. It turned out super!
Here is my bread

Thank you for such a wonderful forum!

I also use recipes for a bread maker, normal no problems, maybe just the translation for some batches of bread makers was screwed up. Tell me, please, do you have only one book with recipes in Russian? And I am also interested in barley flour bread, can someone bake in Alaska and share their experience and recipe?
Diana 74
I had two instructions for the bread-cake - one in English, the other in Russian. the instructions and recipes were
remman
I also have two, one in French, the other in English, why am I asking if it seems that the recipe is not the right one, you can compare it with the English instruction, I liked all the recipes from the instructions that I did, only one seemed a little strange , very little flour, but in English, exactly such measures.

Sonata, wonderful bread turned out, handsome. The next time in the "manual" mode, after kneading, turn on the BAKING mode for 1 min, so as not to use the battery to raise the dough.

Hurrah!!! I managed to get hold of Alaska !!! Panasik was originally planned, but after reading this temko ...: girl_red: I hope I won't regret it!
And what are the problems in it with a measuring cup - in my, everything seems to be exactly indicated
We baked French in the morning, it turned out great! Now let's try to make Bourget ...
venera88
I have an accurate measuring cup! Not for 240ml, as they said here, but for 200, but accurate - we checked
Alychka
Hello! Thank you very much for the forum! Thanks to him, my first bread in Alaska, bought today at the Metro for a promotion, turned out great! : girl_claping: Hell like this - https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...ion=com_smf&topic=90414.0.
Alychka
Girls, can you please tell me where it says, then stick your nose, there is no time to read everything - the child is small. I want to add some bran to white bread - should they be counted in the volume of flour or somehow recalculated the recipe? Thanks in advance .
Eliot
And I didn't even check our measuring cup, I believed, so to speak, the people at their word and immediately started another.
Has ceased to creak during kneading. We bake the white bar all the time, it’s delicious. But with the muffins, something doesn’t work, or I’m looking at the wrong recipes here.
I want to do a dress rehearsal before Easter, try to bake a cake.

I have never tried muffins in x \ n, but at the expense of cakes, if you want, three checked by me and often baked, here: Butter cake https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=3502.0.html , White bun for tea with candied fruits (Pina Colada) https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=919.0 , Dairy Japanese bread "Hokkaido" https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=83021.0 ... The last, the last time (I apologize for the tautology), I added candied fruits - it turned out to be a real cake.

Here's a local recipe, thanks to a hint Din
we did it. Very tasty

Great, Eliot , beautiful bread, I'm very glad that it came in handy!
What did you do? Do you also get a pale tip?

Alychka
Thank you very much for the recipes for cakes, very oily tempts, I will bake for Easter necessarily. In turn, I will share - I tried to bake a cake very similar to this one - https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...ion=com_smf&topic=30848.0, I later found it on the site, initially my sister gave the recipe, only I did it without raisins at all and in milk instead of water, well, I counted it into a smaller loaf for a sample - it turned out sooooo tasty, airy and does not stale for a long time - I recommend it. There are no photos, unfortunately, the three-month little girl leaves no time for anything. (I can't understand why links are turned out to be inactive).
Eliot
Baked according to the recipe "Butter cake".
Thank you Alychka yes, this is a very well-known recipe here, the one you gave a link to. I just want to try it today
vera100865
Din, and on what program did you bake a cupcake?
I tried something, I didn't bake it, but you will find out about it later, and the cupcake flew into the bucket.
it was possible, of course, for the birds, but did not immediately crumble, and then he grabbed like a lump (stone)
Eliot
Here is our experience of baking Easter cake according to the recipe "Very tasty Easter cake" from Elena Bo.

Baking in Alaska-VM 2600

I put all the ingredients on the first post without reducing. Flour poured more than indicated by 14 grams. I was too lazy to sleep. It calmed me down that the dough was thin.
The gingerbread man was very sticky, leaving a lot of things on the walls, you had to scrape. And then it spread altogether. I didn’t put anything, I just waited and believed.
I did not cut the apple, but rubbed it without a peel, a lot of raisins and a zest of medium lemon.
Baked in the program "Sweet bread". The cake turned out to be completely baked, very soft, fluffy and tasty.
Well done bakery, did it wonderfully well!
180909
I also became the owner of this miracle of technology. I baked a cake according to the Panasonic recipe (from a friend it). The gingerbread man did not work at all, I filled up the flour, he became a bun, then it did not rise well, I turned it off, turned it on again. interfered again, then baked on program 12 2 times. The result is very difficult. I want a good recipe for Easter cake, and tell me, should there be such a completely liquid "bun" in the kulich? And I will also ask, I bake white bread on the "French" program, because I like the crust, but there is no crust at the top, in general the top is much lighter. Is that so for everyone?
Morozko
When baking cakes, the bun should not be the same as that of wheat bread. Therefore, the reason for the failure is that the proportions were violated. Try to put the exact amount of food (preferably on an electronic scale) and trust the oven. The only thing that needs to be checked is that the flour completely interferes with the dough. And my roof in Alaska is always lighter than in Panasonic, probably because of the window. Yes, even the quality of the yeast is of great importance - best of all Saf-moment dry or Lux fresh.
Try to bake the recipe "Delicious" by Elena Bo
Rina
The kolobok rule does not work with dough containing a lot of baking. With some recipes at the kneading stage, it's not that there is no kolobok, not even a hint. If you read recipes for cakes, then the dough begins to lag behind your hands only after a good first proofing and about an hour's second kneading.
180909
Thank you very much for your answer. I just have a baby, and I didn't have time to read 20 pages for a long time in topics about Easter cakes. Now I will do it exactly according to the recipe. I have Lvov yeast. I am very happy with them
Alychka
Din, Eliot, other girls who baked butter cake from Elena Bo - answer me! Yesterday I did it for a small portion - it didn't work out - I didn't get up, I got such a lopsided brick. Here I sit, wondering, wondering - what did I do wrong, Primer yeast, white bread from Admin works great on them, I sin that the small one distracted me and sprinkled half a spoon instead of 0.25 ... What recipe did you use - Converted to 900g or in full? maybe there are some other nuances - share pliz, I really want it to work.
And I still got a cake, I'm already baking the second.
180909
I didn't bake. but a friend baked him in Gorenje and "spat". She spekla Pokhlebkinsky Easter cake and is very happy.

does anyone bake muffins in alaska?
and the dough for pies and buns starts?
Lulia
Hello everyone!
Thanks for the topic and for the advice !. I re-read everything and bought myself Alaska. I've been baking super bread for 4 days! Only the top crust remained white until I figured out how to seal the gap between the base and the lid. Since then I have got an excellent brown crust !!!

Share your secret, how did you deal with the gap?
Lulia
Baking in Alaska-VM 2600
this is how I sealed it with a seal that I bought a year ago especially for the old oven, but I never installed it on the oven, and now it came in handy.
And here is the result
Baking in Alaska-VM 2600
Lulia
There, in the picture, a seal is visible on one side, and a gap with an arc, sooo big. This is how I will close it up every time ...
Alexa13
Lulia, Thank you so much! Great idea. Bread is handsome! I will look in stores for such a seal, just for the oven, too.
Alexa13
By the way, you have such a cute little basket! Was it sold separately or was it from some kind of kitchen appliance?
Lulia
The basket came with one Zepter pan
And about the seal, I hope you will find it in your stores. I live in Bulgaria and bought a sealant for the oven from the manufacturer. But even if you don't find one, you can close the cracks with something else.
