This is why it is called a multicooker-pressure cooker: they say, with a delay it can, and fry a can, and an oven can, and boil, steam, stew, etc. But in fact, frying with an open lid, baking with a closed, but without pressure, and then one temperature, but with different times. The delayed start of the pressure cooker is needed, like an accordion priest - personally I would not leave her unattended, even though she is smart. And most importantly, this is not necessary because everything is done quickly enough. But there is and is - high bude, he does not ask for food. I also have it in Polaris, but I still don't know how it turns on.
And a slow cooker can do a lot of things, bigger than a pressure cooker, but it can't cook as fast as a pressure cooker. I say the same - the units are wonderful, one that the other, and both are necessary in the economy. My pressure cooker is breathing in incense, so I look at Elbochka, although without a pressure cooker, it would seem, there are enough helpers in the kitchen. But no, not enough.

Tanya! You are absolutely right! As for me, so without multicooking can be dispensed with - cook on the stove, but without sooncooking - like no hands! Relatives arrived, and I just got sick ... My men finished what I had cooked before, and for the guests ... I cut meat, onions, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, salted and pepper, threw them in the SV and while we were talking everything was ready! The relatives liked both the taste and the view very much. It took 30 minutes for everything. total time! No cartoon with such a rush would not cope! I have 2 multi (Polaris and Dex) and 1 pressure cooker (Elby), so I only use a pressure cooker and sometimes bake in Polaris, more, it seems to me. nothing is needed.

drakusja! And I have already tested mine - all the way, the flight went fine. First, I "boiled" water to check the condition, and then the potatoes in jacket "uniform" - 4 min. Now I look at them (25003 and 25004) and I don’t know which one to give - I’m used to my old one and it’s in perfect condition, the new one has a steamer grill and a Russian menu ... And my neighbor was not lucky - I got caught with a deHect, on Saturday goes to the SC for examination. The seller at Kidstaff said if the SC writes the act, then she will change it.

Happy for you. And I'm trying to wash the silicone pad from the nasty smell. I washed it with dish liquid, wiped it with napkins ... Tomorrow (today) I will boil water with lemon. I learned how to disassemble the valve cover and filter. Where do you turn the valve, in the direction of which inscription? I realized that you are very pleased. I also hope to cooperate with my Elbochka!
drakusja
MY FIRST TIME: boiled water with lemon to kill the smell. Elbochka heated up for 22 minutes, steamed water for 15 minutes. Total - 38 minutes. Another 12 minutes have passed - the steam has not yet come out. Warmed the 2nd time. The first time I let off some steam with a valve. There was a lot of water in the lid.
And how are you???
P.S. For the first time she poured water right up to the recess where the steamer is placed. The second time I used the same water, which was two fingers less. Only the heating indicator was on.
Answer please.
Guylechka

In general, if you are confused by the smell of a silicone gasket, I would advise you to boil it in an ordinary saucepan, I do just that with all the silicone (molds, spatulas, brushes).
Is there water in the lid? .. You boiled water, steam collected between the lid and the steam trap (bubble lid with a seal), moisture always collects there during cooking - this is normal!
If the "heating" indicator was on all the time and the device did not go into the "pressure" mode, then the valve was open - the valve tongue should look NOT at you, but in the opposite direction, if it is open, then of course the steam goes down and pressure is not accumulated.
drakusja
I am writing about porridge: I put everything in a saucepan at the rate. While heating was taking place - nothing. And then milk poured out of the filter, from under the lid ... Not for long, but strong.
Vyshida, steam will come out, I'll see. But very, very upset.

I watch the valve. The heating burned while heating up, and then went out.
Thank you for your reply

And the porridge was burnt and all so grains, delicious, but there is a burnt smell. Rice porridge.

I did not cook milk porridge, but I think that the "porridge" mode is not suitable here, rather "stewing", and "porridge" means porridge on the water - buckwheat, pearl barley, etc. By the way, when cooking the pier. porridge you need to draw an oil strip along the side of the bowl just above the milk level, then the milk will not "run away".

Girls, a big human request: mark in the profile which Elbochka model is, otherwise I'm already confused, who has 05, who has 04. Still, electronic and mechanical are a little different.
Go to your profile (from the menu offered in the upper right corner), there you choose Profile settings, in the graph Name write the name (optional), and list the technique (if it is not already in the list, which drops out if you click on the button My technique).
Guylechka
In general, they start cooking in these pots with the simplest - potatoes with meat, porridge on water ... with milk you need to be careful not to pour it ... you need to fill your hand.
azaza
In fact, the story with milk worries me personally. Nothing should run away in pressure cookers - there is a design such that nothing can run anywhere, even the most foamy dishes! Maybe the elastic was still loose, or the valve was open? But if so, there would be no pressure. Did you have it? Was there a pressure cooker under pressure? Is the cover locked?

Gulechka, and Elbee 25004 is not on the multicooker lists.
And how can you wash the rim (outer), that is, the rim of the multicooker itself, where the milk got into. I soaked it with a cloth, but how to wash it?
And a huge gratitude to you for helping the inept!

Tanya, everything was done according to the instructions. Milk poured out through both holes - and the filter and that. which is just a hole. And it did not drain into the drip tray, but remained on the rim multi.

Damn, that means it's really bad. Two Ps or one - not so important, in different pressure cookers differently. The main thing that they mean is the pressure cooking. And at this moment, NOTHING FROM THE POT SHOULD Escape! If only because the saucepan is airtight, otherwise the pressure would not have accumulated. But if the milk found somewhere to run away, it means that the air walks freely. What kind of tightness is there. As for me - a clear joint, of the same type as Gulechkina's neighbor.
By the way, Gulechka, what's up with the neighbor's saucepan?

Tanya, should there be P and time during cooking too?
azaza
At first, only the cooking time that you set or selected a preset time is on the screen. In the place where the PP should be, zeros may light up (most likely). At least that's the case in my SV. All the heating time, until the pan has reached working pressure, the cooking time will not change, everything will remain on the screen as before. When vigorous boiling begins inside, a rather active hissing is heard through the valve. If there is a lot of water in the saucepan, at this stage droplets may come out LITTLE from the valve. The keyword is highlighted. Purely symbolic !!! Ideally, they shouldn't exist at all. This is not water from a saucepan, but rather condensed steam. It cannot be milk or broth, for example. And when the hiss from the valve gets quite loud, the valve is pushed up by the steam, thereby blocking the cap. That's it, now you won't open the lid. But the letters PP do not light up immediately. Depending on the amount of food in the saucepan, this happens after 20-180 seconds. And at this stage nothing can escape from the pressure cooker - it is closed tightly. Any leak is already a violation of the tightness, and hence the normal operation of the unit.
Girls, again: I have a different pressure cooker. But the principle of cooking in all of them is the same, the difference is insignificant: a slightly different valve, a lid, a pipette inside, letters on the screen. Everything is fundamentally the same!
drakusja
Tanya-sun, thank you for the detailed answer.
My valve does not rise up, as it was before it is. I watched on purpose.
And, most likely, I will need to send my elby back. But I have such a goat seller ... He warned me that he would take back only the unused one and up to 14 days.
Earlier I called the person who is our SC. So he replied that he had no idea about these multicooker. And how to be ?!
Guylechka
Tanya, the neighbor has an obvious joint with a lid, tomorrow she's taking it to the SC. And I talked with the seller, she said - if an act is drawn up in the SC, then she will change.
In general, these new Elbies with oddities - during cooking, throughout the entire cycle, the valve quietly hisses all the time, but in the old one it is not so - it hisses (releases excess pressure) and goes silent, after a while it hisses again, etc.
By the way, in the new model -25004- the time cannot be set to 1 min., The shortest time is 3 min. on the "meat" program, and in 25003 - on any program from 1 min.
azaza
Yeah. It's all sad. The new models were expected to be better than the old ones. In reality, the opposite is true.
I'm fighting, I don't know what to do in such a situation. I have never bought equipment remotely. Yes, even if in the same city - what to do in a similar situation, if SC has no idea about this pressure cooker ?! Is there another SC in the city, or is this the only one listed as working with the Elby brand? In this case, I think, all claims should be made to the seller, if there is no one else. By giving him money, you entered into a contractual relationship with him. With him, not with Elby or an unknown service center. Hence, it is necessary to contact him. And he, in turn, let him turn to his supplier.
But what if you go offsite Elby? Maybe they will still answer? Although I asked them yesterday a question about spare pots - they are silent.
And I had such hopes for Elbochka! I have already searched where and how much. Eh
Guylechka
drakusja Don't get a fever! I was pissed off by this constant hiss and I took off the lid, then this pimply crap, then a metal thing - in the picture it is called "lock" (19), and under it is a nut. I felt the nut, but it's not twisted! I took the pliers and twisted it ... I already checked it - now it hisses periodically, as it should be!

Not everything is so bad, I think, you just need to fill your hand or an eye. We, the happy owners of old Elbies, are already used to them and perceive small changes not as if the new ones were the first! In piled up! In short, we scared the girls with our "oohs" and "ahams", and if you return to the first pages of the topic, you will see how at first we were also in a panic and did not know from which side to approach this pan!
So, girls, do not hang your nose, master your pans, and we will help! The main thing is that the programs work, the steam comes out from where it is needed!
Guylechka
Tan, I continue. Here, even take at least the fact that the time cannot be set from 1 minute. She told her husband, and he says "what are you going to BOOK for 1 minute?" and really ... It's just possible in the old one, but in the new one it is impossible, and already KARAUL!

So I missed this "jamb" because it didn't scare me. Well, I have an opportunity to put up in Polaris from 1 minute, so what? I set at least 5 minutes for vegetables, and even then, if I don't plan to relieve pressure forcibly. So 3 minutes won't scare us! That would be the biggest drawback!
I am much more concerned about the saucepan - both in itself and the opportunity to buy a spare tire.

She hung the little things on hooks that she couldn't hang - she hung shelves on the rails. Lope space at the cabinets freed up But still, free space for technology in a serious shortage.
Gyulechka, a question about old Elbochka. How has seniority affected the coating of the saucepan? This question worries me very much. I understand that Elbochka is one of the main workers in your kitchen? And again: is the coating in the new saucepan the same or different? Now I don't even remember which one you have - with keram.saucepan, or with a non-stick. Until the Baker has listed your pressure cookers - write in your profile in letters, pliz! And right now, I'll go and ask him about your models.
drakusja
Today I tightened the nut, though not with pliers, because it turns, but it did. I cooked milk porridge on "porridge" (buckwheat), cooked it on homemade milk without water. NOTHING got out, but the porridge was burnt. And I don’t understand why. (1 cup cereal + 5 cups milk)
Questions:
1. Is it necessary to cook porridge with milk with water?
2. The letters PP were, but not constantly, were replaced by running stripes. But there were at the beginning and at the end of every minute. Is this how it should be?
3. Is it possible to change the preset time. And if possible, how?
And one more thing: I enlarged the pictures with the instructions attached, and everything is not quite the same as on Elbochka itself.
porridge, soup, chicken are the same.
In the picture, meat - we are steaming
fish in the picture - we have meat
rice in the picture - we have potatoes
bob in the picture - we have stewing
Does this difference make any difference?
I look forward and look forward to the answers of our help girls.
Good evening everyone.

Fighting, I would help with pleasure, but I only know Elbochka by this topic. If I know anything, I am not silent. Well, no, as they say
The fact that the pictures do not coincide with reality - perhaps the instruction describes an old model. The preinstalled programs should change (in theory). Look for the "+" and "-" or "cooking time" buttons and play with them. If there is a "cooking time" button, try without choosing programs, click on it - the display should show 3 minutes - Gyulya said that now at least not 1, but 3 minutes. This means that in addition to the preset programs, where it can be a little confusing to change the time, you can use the "cooking time" button. All this is IF! I am describing my pressure cooker. Since, in principle, they are all the same, it means that something similar should be (or may be) in Elbochka.
About the milk porridge. It's good that nothing escaped. Now it's bad that it's burnt. Try diluting milk with water: out of five parts of liquid, 3 milk, two water. It is even healthier for cereals - it swells and boils down better from water than from milk. And at the same time, perhaps, avoid burning. Although, by analogy with my lousy saucepan, if it burns once, it will always burn now. Not a fact, but, alas, such a possibility exists. After the first cooking, my pan burned to death. Washing off this very "death" I, apparently, at the same time washed off the protective layer (which was already extremely thin). Well, then off we go. I hope your burnout went away on its own, without physical effort? If so, then there is hope for the further safe operation of the saucepan.
azaza
Quote: drakusja

I haven't washed the saucepan yet, I poured water, let it stand.
Let it sour longer. Add soda to the water to soften the burn. After a few hours, the water with soda must be drained, and washed in clean water, with a detergent, but extremely soft side of the washcloth. True, there are such burns that you cannot wash off with the soft side. I hope this is not your case. So vegetables usually burn to death.
Natali-z
Good evening girls! I'm new here, I have an Alby 25004, I bought it almost a week ago, and I just tried it. I doubted everything, I thought to take it back, but I found your forum, read your advice for a couple of days and decided to try it. Drakusya sent the instructions more or less imputed to me, thank her very much. In the one that comes in the kit, nothing really is clear, they write about the buttons that we do not have. now I was cooking buckwheat porridge in water, 1.5 measuring cups of cereal, 3 cups of water. Before cooking, I tweaked everything as the girls advised. I switched it on, pressed the "Rice / porridge" button, I displayed PP28 (28 minutes), although the button says 10-15, (I'll tell you right away how to decrease the time, I don't know yet)
I think that 28 minutes is too much for such an amount of porridge. Then the indicator "heating" PP turned on, disappeared, red stripes ran. I sat and watched like a movie. Then the heating turned off, PP appeared and the time, I don't remember exactly, or 20 or 28, I missed this moment., The "pressure" indicator, a green light, also came on. The countdown went off, the "heating" periodically turned on again, stripes ran, but the time was decreasing. All this time, the valve was whistling and a little steam came out of it, nothing flowed from under the lid. When the "pressure" came on, the lid was tightly locked. When the time was up, the "heating" turned on, I turned it off, as the instructions say. (I still have a problem with this pressure cooker, the "heating off" button is sunken, everyone else clicks, but this one seems to be missing at all), and to turn it off, I had to press forcefully several times. Disconnected nevertheless, zeros appeared on the display, disconnected from the network. I wanted to quickly see what happened there, so I slowly began to turn the valve in the direction of opening with a wooden spatula, the valve whistled, the steam came out gradually and the click was small, the lid unlocked. I opened the lid, the porridge was cooked, it seemed to me that it turned out to be slightly overcooked, but nothing burnt. The porridge is delicious. Here is my report. Yes, still, while I was inserting a cup to collect condensate, ((it is very tightly inserted into place), a corner broke away from it, but these are trifles, it holds, and it’s okay. I would also like to know how to reduce the cooking time, I can try on the program press several times, what will happen, maybe so you can change the time? And the button "set time", as I understood it, only to delay cooking.
Guylechka
Here I am! Soooo, everything is in order! Today I wrote down the "readings" of all programs:
Rice porridge (10-15) - recommended time, 20 - immediately by pressing the button, 10-45 - manual mode;
Borsch soup (60) 25 - 15-50
Meat (20-30) 6 - 3-15
Quenching (90) 30 - 20-70
Steam cooking (10-15) 15 - 8-30
Chicken (20) 12 - 8-30
Potatoes (20-25) 10 - 5-20

If someone has not figured it out yet: manually set the time by pressing the upper left button "time setting" (next to the display) after selecting the desired program, for example, turn on the "rice-porridge" program, the display shows 20 minutes, we immediately start click (or just hold) the "time setting" button and the time on the display goes up to 45 - this is max. time on this program, and then counts down from 10 minutes. In the table, next to each program, I indicated the time indicated (recommended) on the button, then - the time that is displayed immediately when this program is turned on, and the last - the time that can be set "to your taste". The same button is used to "delay start", but for me, this function is not needed!
Go ahead...

drakusja I think it’s burned out for you, because the time was set by default (what lights up immediately) and it turned out to be too much. I have a homemade chicken in 15 minutes. boiled under pressure, but here it is just porridge! .. Vegetables for salad - 6 minutes (manual time).

Tanya! And the casserole, along the way, is the same as in all pressure cookers - not thick, as in Dex, but not as "paper" as in Polaris. In old Alby, the coating rubbed a little and two points of the breakaway coating are my fault, I can sometimes climb into the casserole with metal

What else? .. Girls, do not be afraid, play with the buttons - they will not break, they are intended for this!
drakusja
Gul now has another name - THE GOOD WIZARD. Here !!!
Gul, what about the steam in the steaming mode? Yesterday he was not, but today he appeared.
azaza
Gul, but try to click on the "Time Setting" button immediately, without clicking on any programs. Is something going on? In Polaris, this is a manual mode: without choosing a program, you choose the time. The display immediately shows the time from 1 min. We do not have a Start button - cooking starts 60 seconds after pressing any button (program or manual mode). Sometimes setting the time on the desired program is rather dreary: you have to press the button for too long (first to the possible maximum, then to the minimum). So I now use the manual mode most often. And the soft buttons only when the preset time suits me.
I thought: people of the 60s would not understand us. They dreamed of pushing buttons, even the song was like "Press just a button: chick - and everything is right there." It was a utopian song! And we here, you know, are spoiled!
drakusja
Tanya, you also have one more name - GOOD TEACHER !!!
Tanya, I tried to press the "time setting" button without turning on the programs, the time goes from half an hour to 24 hours, and then everything repeats. That is, without a program, only a start delay.
azaza
Clear. This means that you can’t play manually. Not fatal, but this button is very good for me. And how we turn on the deferral - I still don't know. Somehow it doesn't work for me even in a cartoon, and even in a pressure cooker it is completely unnecessary.
And thanks for the middle name
azaza
Well! Wrong mood. It just needs to be figured out. The old model was also not immediately mastered, many had questions, the valve was loose, steam was escaping, etc. It's just that you, the owners of the new version, are still too few, which means that experience will not accumulate as quickly as we would like. There's no way without a pressure cooker in the kitchen, now I know for sure. That’s why I’m hanging around here, that the question is about to be raised, because my saucepan is almost a hapless. I am looking for her replacement.
drakusja
Tanya, what are you looking for a replacement soon or a multicooker? And will you choose by price or by functionality?
And I don't need to cook a lot for myself - porridge, soup, omelet and sometimes bake something.
To be honest, I don't like having to mess with Alby like that. I understand that the price does not imply multifunctionality. But. ..
azaza
Multifunctionality is a multicooker. A pressure cooker just cooks under pressure. Dishes can be different, and the principle of cooking is common to everyone. But the taste is more intense than in the cartoon. Well, speed is also important. Only the speed is manifested not on all dishes, only on long-playing ones. Otherwise, due to the collection and release of pressure, this is not the case.
Although you can do almost everything in it. I did it with pleasure. And now the shore, only long-meat or bean dishes, the rest is in cartoons.
And I'm looking for - yes, a pressure cooker. I already have two multi, I use one all the time, the second is idle more in stock. Moulinex is good (pressure cooker), but also expensive, contagion. But to him there is additional. stainless steel pans. But I would still like to be cheaper and more angry. Like the Dex-50 for multicooker, or Aurora with Orion, for example: the set of programs is excellent, and spare wheels, again, can be bought without problems. Maybe someday it will be just as realistic to save money with a pressure cooker?
drakusja
Tanya, and Moulinex is the one that is Minute Cook? I like it too. The son gave it to his daughter-in-law, and she cooks only in her. And before that I bought them expensive German saucepans ... But sometimes they cook in them for the granddaughter. And I also want Moulinex ...

Tan, I am somehow beginning to be disappointed in Elby. I dreamed so, I wanted so much ... And now desire is cooling down.

I agree with Tanya - WRONG mood !!! My neighbor (the one who was unlucky) came with her saucepan, Alby lid and we dealt with her problem based on how my old one works. I poured it into my water and showed my neighbor how the SV should work - I pressed the buttons, let me work a little, etc. So she told me "I've never seen how this happens, but now I saw it and I still wanted more!" , she has already taken her to the SC! And you say "I'm starting to get disappointed"!
drakusja
Gulyushka-sorceress, it is possible that if I had the same neighbor, I would not start to be disappointed. And so ... That is why steam came out of the filter during "steaming". After all, this should not be, right ?!
Guylechka
Now I will express my seditious opinion. By and large, such a number of buttons is a complete divorce! Knowing a little about the principle of operation and having experience in use, I would only need two - setting the time and start-reset, EVERYTHING! In my old one I used only one program, I don't even know (forgot) what is written on the button and what product it is designed for, I just know - potatoes, vegetables - 4-6 minutes, porridge (potatoes) with meat - 15 minutes, soup - 12-20 min., Jellied meat - 60 min. etc., I never cook cabbage in SV, once was enough - I don't like soft, borscht, by the way, I cook without cabbage, and at the end of the process I bleed off the steam, toss in the cabbage, close the lid and leave it for a few minutes. heated.Undoubtedly, SKOROVarka is simply vital for every hostess - no matter what happens, the family will always be fed and unexpected guests will not starve to death * JOKINGLY * while the hostess thinks what to feed them !!!

Well, you have completely overwhelmed me, I will soon puff up my nose. In general, thanks for the kind words.
Now about the matter ... I still think that you didn’t completely tighten the nut ... at first it was spinning with no load, and then I pressed the valve on the other (outer) side with my finger and the nut turned. Steam all the time or intermittently? And on other programs, steam does not come out?
drakusja
Gul, I didn't praise. I'm just giving my opinion. This is not a compliment, but a statement of fact. Like this!!!
In other modes, there was no steam. But now I will also try to twist it with pliers. And I tried only steamed and porridge ...

Knowing a little about the principle of operation and having experience of use, I would only need two - setting the time and start-reset
That's why I'm looking towards the 05 model! So that there are no buttons at all: I spun the right time with a lamb, and no unnecessary gestures.

Here I have 05 model ... I am mastering ...
Wuhu, cooked jellied meat, though not as quickly as I wanted ...
Ear - 60 minutes from the start, and cold 90 + 90 ...
I made vegetables with chicken meat for 45 minutes ... it's all from heating to the end of the process.
I'm still a beginner ...

Sorceresses and Teachers, please clarify, I turned on "steam cooking", PP 15 lit up, changed the time by 9 minutes, pressure began to build up. It quietly hisses, then, about 1.5 minutes before the start of the mode, steam came out from the constantly open filter (which is just a hole). The regime has gone, but the steam continues to go. I got scared and turned it off. And what is it ???
I'm waiting for tips and help.

Hello, my Alby also constantly escapes steam from this "hole", but not much, droplets collect at the edges, and dry after the end of cooking. I haven't steamed yet. Yesterday I cooked vegetables for a vinaigrette, (whole in a peel) on the "potato" mode, set the time to 15 minutes, started heating, warmed up for 20 minutes, and then the time appeared for some reason 05 minutes and the countdown went (although I set 15 minutes). When the time was up (5 minutes), I switched to heating, turned it off, checked the vegetables - they were undercooked, put it on for another 5 minutes, and after heating, 08 minutes were displayed.
It is also unclear how it works, time is at its own discretion. And the steam, I think, must go out somewhere early on the sly, otherwise the pressure can rupture the pan. My question is: is it possible to fry something in Elby, for example meat for pilaf or fry for borscht with an open lid or valve, and open the lid for stirring, as in multicooker? Or is everything just getting ready under pressure ??
