Thank you! This is the second experience of purchasing a multicooker-pressure cooker, the first is safely under repair and will be ready only by September. Already scared if the problem is again. Today I made a casserole for my daughter, and discovered that the "baking" mode is without pressure. I messed up something or is it?
olbabich
Tell me, pliz, how can I cook steamed dishes in this "slow cooker"? Or is it better to forget about it? Here in thought: girl_in_dreams: buy this miracle of technology and enjoy the speed of cooking, but deprive yourself of the opportunity to eat diet cutlets or still buy a classic multicooker with a steaming function? The fact is that this is very important for me, because my husband, for health reasons, often sits on diets, so I decided to give him a cartoon for him - it's useful, and for me - a blooper

Put a plastic container from under mayonnaise or others inside the device, put food (vegetables, cutlets) into it. 10 minutes and you're done.

Anton, thanks for the advice! I am very attracted to her by the fact that she is high-speed, but still a little did not understand how the multicooker is she also good? In one of the posts I read that it is almost impossible to cook in it with an open lid. So?
dok-tor4
If you cook the first courses without frying, then nothing needs to be changed. Threw food (meat, vegetables, cereals, water until needed) and turn on the program. If with frying, then first fry on any program with the lid open (like in a frying pan), turn it off, and then everything goes according to plan: meat, vegetables, water and the desired mode (soup or stewing). And you will be happy.
olbabich
Anton, do you think it is possible to adapt the recipes that were written for other multicooker (for example Panasonic) for this multi-pressure cooker?
dok-tor4
Easy, only the cooking time will have to be shortened

This pressure cooker has one microprocessor for all modes and, accordingly, the countdown of the cooking time will not start until the pressure sensor is triggered.
That is, the "cake" mode also works under pressure!

Cool! I thought that this is the only case when the firmware assumes the absence of VD. And how do biscuits rise when pressure "crushes" them? Very interesting!

Doesn't the container melt from high temperatures? And it is not intended for heating and cooking food in them. Maybe a plastic saucepan for the microwave can be adapted? But, also alarming - it will not "stick" to the heated pressure cooker bowl?
A silicone baking dish is probably what you can use. And cook in a water bath, as Rinochka recently advised. Great idea in my opinion!

Pour 0.5l of water into a saucepan, put a mayonnaise container, a flat plate, a glass candy bowl on a leg, etc., directly into it, put the product on top and the mode corresponding to the cooking time. I usually use * congree *

I have not yet tried this mode for its intended purpose, and used it only for cooking cauliflower - it turns out just like from a wood-fired oven .. very good. delicious!

that is, then you can just take a deep ceramic bowl that fits in a saucepan, put food in it and put in a saucepan, where water has been previously poured, close it and put it on konji ?!

Who cooked the boiled pork? Respond How to cook it correctly? I understand that first marinate, then fry from all sides, and then ...? What mode should you set, how much water to add, and for how long, so that you get not a fried and dry coal, but a tasty piece of meat?

I was preparing such a dish !!! Everything is almost correct. Marinate, no need to fry !!! (if you cook boiled pork. Pork is not fried meat) CHUUUt - a little fat, vegetable oil, water is not NECESSARY. Fry a little from the bottom, everything else will cook due to its moisture
Add meat mode and time up to 30 minutes.

Continuing the topic
In Temka for Perfets, they suggested a link to this option (suggested by the user 13Alex09 on the site "My bread machine").

I quote:

Today, manti is planned for dinner, but my cartoon Panasonik TMR-18, with, it would seem, a decent volume (4.5 liters), has only one grill for steaming. For three full servings, manti is clearly not enough. To begin with, I clarified what material the original multicooker grill is made of. On the back of the grille there is a mark:

Multicooker-pressure cooker Elbee Naomi 25005

I "climb" on the Internet, I find out:

I picked up a bucket of a suitable diameter, with this icon:

Multicooker-pressure cooker Elbee Naomi 25005

Again on the Internet, I clarify:
The material of my bucket seemed to me suitable (in both cases polypropylene), and safe (withstands temperatures of + 100 ° C, and I was not going to drink alcohol in buckets).

I cut off the bottom of the bucket, 4cm high, drilled holes for steam passage. Voila, now I have two grates, and the efficiency of the multicooker, in the "steaming" mode, has increased by exactly 100%.

Multicooker-pressure cooker Elbee Naomi 25005

Multicooker-pressure cooker Elbee Naomi 25005

1 liter is freely poured under the grate. water, which is quite enough so that it does not boil away completely.

In the future, I am going to make three such lattices, with a height: the lower one - 4cm, the two upper ones - 3.5cm. Place one on top of the other, excluding the native grid (it is deep, you cannot put the third grid). The distance between the grates is 3 cm, for manti it is quite enough.

As the perspective suggests, the three bars are not fiction.
The technology is simple:
cut off the bottom from three identical buckets: 2pcs -3.5cm (these will be the lower and middle lattice), 1pc-2cm (upper lattice)

Multicooker-pressure cooker Elbee Naomi 25005

We insert the bottom into the "remains" of the container so that it protrudes beyond the edge ~ 2cm

Multicooker-pressure cooker Elbee Naomi 25005

Cut the container again ~ 1.5 cm above the shape. This ring will keep the top grill from shifting. We do the same with the middle grill.

Drilling holes for steam

Multicooker-pressure cooker Elbee Naomi 25005

We collect our pyramid. Due to the small taper of the bucket, the grates easily fit into the guides.

Multicooker-pressure cooker Elbee Naomi 25005

At the bottom of the saucepan we put a ring of a suitable diameter, 3.5 cm high. (cut from a smaller container).

Multicooker-pressure cooker Elbee Naomi 25005

We put the bars. Check that they do not protrude over the edge of the saucepan.

Multicooker-pressure cooker Elbee Naomi 25005

Wash thoroughly and you can use it. Give 35 manti !!! :5:
I will note the following: the upper manti will be close to the multi lid, and you should not make them high, no higher than 3cm. For free passage of steam, it is better not to put the mant under the steam valve.

I tested three gratings. Manty with pumpkinMulticooker-pressure cooker Elbee Naomi 25005
Something like this ... Naturally, in three trays you can put not only manti, but everything that you are going to cook for steam.

Another question. I understood everything about the bouillon, we lay down the meat, potatoes, carrots, spices, salt and put on the "Soup" mode. But how to cook soup with the addition of cereals (rice, buckwheat) or pasta? If everything is laid at once, then it will turn into a mess there, probably

Just wondering, I made a casserole, and, having decided not to wait long, tried to release the pressure through turning the valve, but there was no pressure at all. And tell me how to cook oatmeal milk porridge in it three times already.

So baking is still without pressure build-up. Everything is logical.
And I was frying meat for pilaf in the "baking" mode with the lid closed and I had pressure, the lid could not be opened, only after a certain time. the saucepan opened freely and effortlessly.

If you bake (like a biscuit), then there is no pressure, and if you bake or fry something, etc., then there is pressure.

And the biscuit rises perfectly! (y) Even though I also put chopped strawberries on top of the dough.

Hello!
For half a day I reread you and your reviews, my head is already swelling, but I haven’t come to anything - should I choose Elby or Dex? I'm really looking forward to the advice, after reading so much and did not understand how they differ,: girl_cray: except that Elby prepares everything very quickly, right? I can cook soups and stew meat in it and cook porridge for children, bake a casserole? But it turns out I can do the same thing in Dex, only it will take longer to prepare there?
Sorry for the stupid questions, but I really look forward to your smart answers, because tomorrow I will order something. Now I'm leaning more towards Elby.
orlova82
I will add - this time I took the choice of the device very seriously, because after purchasing the airfryer, which I pinned great hopes on in terms of its functions, I do not want to be taxed - after all, money and space in the kitchen are very valuable to me. I use the airfryer exclusively for smoking and grilling, stewing and soups are not obtained there

These are different devices !!! Elby is a pressure cooker and Dex is a multicooker. Decide for yourself. Although Elby is positioned as a multicooker, the device is still sharpened for high pressure cooking. In high-speed mode, you don't always want to cook, and the question of vitamins-usefulness remains open. How to borrow.I would buy a pressure cooker with a "classic" multicooker, if you feel like you often need to cook faster than a cartoon. Just estimate, because in Elby, by the time of direct cooking, you need to summarize the period of pressure rise and release. In addition, cooking in a cartoon is easier for a cartoon beginner, you need to get used to the pressure cooker a little more. True, it is not the gods who burn the pots. BUT! Situations when you need to quickly "organize" the broth are not uncommon, and here the pressure cooker will help! Or jellied meat in express mode. But to cook porridge, stew vegetables and so on is a multi specialization. The choice is yours
Both are good! But, they are DIFFERENT.
misKiti
This multicooker is a very interesting thing! According to your feedback, it was measured that this is a pressure cooker, although there were suspicions. Yesterday I cooked potatoes "according to the village" in the baking mode with the lid open, the time timer started, the time began to count down, at the end it turned off and switched to heating mode. Therefore, it can cook in both the pressure cooker and the multicooker mode. It's a pity that the instructions are bad, probably it all depends on the selected cooking mode. Tell me who cooked porridge, oatmeal?
Guylechka
Good day! Today I received my pressure cooker and now I’m boiling chicken broth, but I’m so scared of someone's - it hisses and splashes from the valve! On the scoreboard, as it was 25 with running zeros, it still remains, and almost 40 minutes have passed! What can it be, tell me, plizz.

Thank you for your answer, however, I already doped it myself (out of fear!) - turned it off, turned the valve (at least some kind of thread was drawn for such goofs as me), after these manipulations everything worked out. The broth from homemade chicken was cooked, let's say, for 5-, it seemed to me that she still didn’t have enough minutes, so, 5-8 minutes to a state of full readiness ... Well, now we will master a new trick

I still want to express my opinions on the cereals in Elby. Since I have a small MV, I usually make milk porridge there, but recently I sold it in Elby - to be honest, I liked it more! It turned out faster essno, for millet with raisins, set 10 minutes of time for 1 tbsp. millet and 5 tbsp. milk / water - served in half an hour. And the taste is different - more magnificent, or something ... Immediately homogeneous, does not settle to the bottom, as in MV.
Carcass cabbage here, too, more often than in MV, again what would be faster.
Here, cabbage soup with fresh cabbage in 8 minutes - pzhlsta)))

I have cooked jellied meat only from domestic chickens / roosters twice in a row. I cook twice on the beans for 60 minutes. The meat itself falls off. But even after the first hour, it is already normally edible, just hold on in a bunch. And when just for broth, then I cook a quarter of the chicken for Soup.

May I join you? Thanks for opening this thread. I myself looked for a long time and looked closely at the multicooker. Liked ь Elby, as a pressure cooker (I was just killed by the phrase about the cartoon "Mulinex" that the chicken was stewed there for 6 hours! prepares.) and for its "democratic" price. And then I came across your forum. What a gift! Bought Elby from Alexander. The truth has not bought it yet. I will send the money only tomorrow, although I'm trying to cook pilaf today. Thanks to Sasha. So, I'm sorry. Today I just came home after two days in nature, and immediately to Elbochka. Once again, following everyone else, I express my grand merci to the compilers of the instructions. Well, it’s necessary to study for twenty years in order to draw up such instructions! To my shame, I was tormented by closing the lid. Because in my head (apparently the outdoor recreation was a success!) I got a picture that the floating valve of the lid handle should be above the drip tray. But no. The handle of the lid should be in the position "between the handles of the saucepan", as if connecting them. I am writing because maybe someone else will turn out to be as "gifted" as I am! For the first time, I decided to cook pilaf, as I was already armed with knowledge from the forum. Rice is not polished. Therefore, I put it on "meat". Now I am writing, and he is preparing. The air has already gone. Yeah, it already sounded. I'll go take a look. Truncated according to plan. Two undershoots and a yellow light is on. I'm bleeding steam now. Because everyone wants to see what happened. Everything is super! This is despite the fact that the rice is not polished. But it's still hard for me. I put it on the "rice" for five minutes. The very thing! I'm at Shozi. Unprocessed rice has never tasted so good! And the main thing (for me) is fast!
Girls and boys, lay out your recipes for Elbochka. And I'll post it if I succeed in particular! All all the best.
Guylechka
maola! You, straight, read my thoughts about the instructions! Today I also cooked in Elby (for the second time) and was tormented - which mode is more suitable for my dish (stewed cabbage with meat) and decided that the "meat" mode would be the most correct and ... Meat in 13 minutes. cooked well (I put it on the bottom), but the cabbage - in the trash! On the stove, I get a very tasty cabbage that even a picky son adores it, but then he looked, tasted it, grimaced and did not eat. In short, I caught the meat, and threw away the cabbage. It's good that I cooked vegetable stew in Dex on the way - everything is super! In general, of the three MVs (Dex, Polaris, Elby), only Dex had no punctures. Here, one asks, on what mode to cook vegetables, and where is stewing
Maybe it's me - wooden - I don't understand anything?
maola
As they wrote on the forum - stewing in Elby on "beans". But again, as I understand it, you need to adjust how much time you put on it. I myself respect cabbage and meat. When I try, I will unsubscribe. The plan is as follows: first the meat on "meat", then there cabbage and all the moorings on "beans". Minutes for 10. And see. what happens. In the sense, it is still necessary to extinguish or not.

Well, it is very similar to pressure cookers such as Land Life, Unit, ARC, Cucina, etc.
Friends advised me and even helped me buy an Elbee multicooker on the Internet. I am very grateful to them. I cook with pleasure. Already adapted to the regimes and the order in which the products were placed. For example, stewed potatoes with chicken on the meat mode (13 min.) Is excellent. But only if potatoes with spices and onions are below, and chicken is on top. Then everything will be saturated with broth and delicious.

Good evening girls. Happy spring holiday and beautiful women to you !!! As for the pressure cooker, I will say that I am very pleased so far - the pots are behaving well. I would not buy at a frantic price, but would buy a new, inexpensive multicooker, especially since Marina (the phone is higher) I immediately over 80 gr. bought a second saucepan. But, since this is a pressure cooker, I ordered a cartoon, and tomorrow I should receive DEH 50. A simple arithmetic calculation showed that Elby for 550 (with a pan) and DEH for 630 is cheaper than one Panasonic. And considering that one is fast and the other is slow, I am fully armed.

and I found a link here in Temko and asked a multi-pressure cooker there, it costs 460 UAH, but a spare saucepan is promised for 50 UAH, it's very tempting. I think to order
SeredaG
I ordered it !!! I look forward to, I have chosen a multicooker for probably a year. But after your Temka I decided to use a multicooker pressure cooker. Because the summer is hot - you don't want to stand at the stove for a long time.
I ordered it with a new spare pot immediately in the kit (I'm thrifty, especially since it seems to me that they don't sell pots for 50 hryvnias to any multicooker, but here there is such an opportunity). How to get it I will take a picture and report.

SeredaG, I also bought my cartoon from this girl! She is a great smart girl, everything is fast, clear and efficient!
Today I cooked pilaf. It turned out SUPER !!! Very crumbly and not sticky! First, I fried the meat in the "Baking" mode, then I added an onion with a carrot, browned well, added salt, pepper and turned it off. I washed the rice, added it to the meat, and poured some water (1 tbsp. Rice, 2 tbsp. Water). I put everything on the "Meat" mode. The result is golden and crumbly pilaf!
