Vilapo
Girls to all who opened this Temka, many thanks. Thanks to you, I decided to make cake pops for my grandson for his birthday, there was a lot of joy !!! I made crumb and butter cream on condensed milk from a classic biscuit, added cocoa and nuts. It turned out very tasty
I made the first ones in chocolate, then I bought sticks and icing. But I liked the glaze less, it dries quickly, which is of course a plus, but it cracked, this is a minus, I had to decorate: girl_wink: It's in chocolate, and so I packed them

Anka_DL, Thank you for the video! In the first video, they generally talk about shortening, that is, cooking oil. Maybe you can try with ordinary glaze like this?
I also made pops, but I could not cover it normally. The white chocolate icing set instantly, it was impossible to make even balls. It also cracked on a couple in the fridge. I tried adding cream to the frosting, and eventually curled up, I had to heat a new portion. I made a white chocolate icing (the recipe was given a few pages earlier), it was a little thinner than just the icing, but it also covered poorly, as if it slipped off. Now, in general, in thought what to do.
Here are my losers, the consolation is that the children squeaked from the cakes on a stick and turned out to be delicious.

Yes, I heard that there was shortening ... only I didn't have this stuff at home when I was born. but butter is always found. As for cream and chocolate, at the same time melting chocolate with milk or cream, I never succeeded in chocolate not melting, but as if curdling .... a kind of pasta was obtained. Therefore, I pour chocolate on the ganache with boiling cream, but do not heat it together. But butter and chocolate have never been let down in a blow
with pops you are sorry that it happened. I have so far covered only with either chocolate or Oberovskaya glaze, this has never happened. But the main thing is that the kids were happy

Anka_DL, Thank you. I will try.
Vilapo, you got beautiful pops.

Another batch of pops. This time on wooden skewers. From a biscuit for 9 eggs and cream from two packs of butter, as many as 70 pieces were obtained.
Cake Pops and Cake balls
By the way, I take Ukrainian chocolate icing (at Lyulek's warehouse) and there were no problems with the pops coating (though the first three pieces were "lumpy" until I realized that I had to dip in lukewarm icing).

Very beautiful - I like it: wow: But I can't find sticks anywhere
Well, they can be easily replaced with skewers for kebabs.
In general, I like them more in paper tartlets.

I wouldn't make fun of myself like that. The skewers are very thin so that the ball is kept on them, it must be very small. I bought my first sticks for pops with a length of 10 cm and they are a little thicker than skewers ..... the leftovers are still unused .... this is extremely inconvenient. Here are a couple of photos for comparison

There was a practice of planting pops on cocktail tubes .... So these are already convenient to decorate Although here of course it's a matter of taste. You can put on a toothpick too
I read that balloon sticks are very suitable. they are also used for cotton candy. it is long, this stick you cut it in half and the normal length is 17.5 cm. I even found a store there packing 100 pieces, that is, for pops 200 pieces if in half. costs 15 UAH packing (100). but the minimum order is 500 UAH. By the way, they are there in different colors and very bright. 🔗 I think you can get together ...

Good evening girls. I looked at all this beauty, I could not resist - I decided to put my pops on your court. How I liked making them! Did a friend's children for New Year's party. By the way, by experience, I found out that 30 g of popsiks perfectly hold on skewers for barbecue. If more - then move out. And the children liked the little ones more. As they say for 2 Nom.
I made Christmas trees, snowmen, which in my opinion look more like albino penguins, and just balls.

Girls,
I was going to make Cake Pops. I looked through the whole topic, but did not understand how to glaze them.
Glaze + vegetable cream? or just Glaze?
Chocolate + natural cream? or just Chocolate?
Anka_DL
at the expense of glaze and chocolate - so who likes what. you can do both. Glaze is easier to work with and hardens faster. But chocolate is more natural and, as for me, tastes better. Chocolate is more expensive, because if not for yourself, then it can also play an important role.
at the expense of cream ... here I will not tell you .... butter for shine, yes. and why cream? like ganache something?
Ellena
I decided that you can do them in the same way as a cake is poured with a mixture of icing in discs + cream, but it turned out that in this case the coating remains soft. And just with glaze, then when you melt it, it remains thick and hard to glaze, and when it freezes, it is tough
Anka_DL
a soft coating is not good here. need a crust like candy.
Ellena
Ludasik
EllenaI diluted the colored glaze with a small amount of white chocolate glaze, about 15% of the total amount of glaze, in order to preserve the color. She became more liquid for me. And I warmed her in a water bath. And on another forum, the girls were advised to add a little cocoa butter. I have not tried it, but I think the advice is good.
Ellena
Luda, I could not cope with pure white.
When you flood it, it still remains thick and difficult to use.
Ludasik
Helen, did you heat the glaze in a water bath? I put the glaze in a deep bowl (just glaze, without any additives), put it on a saucepan with water and leave it alone for about 10 minutes. It melts during this time, but does not lose its shape. Then I mix it and turn it off. It turns out a fairly liquid substance, somewhere like pancakes. Lays down neatly enough. And one more thing, there should be a lot of it. My pops were 2/3 drowned in the glaze. And the bowl I kept on the saucepan all the time, as soon as I feel that it is thickening, I immediately warm up the water.

And by the way, did you only cover with white glaze or use colored glaze?
Ellena
Luda, I used white and tinted it. Apparently, I have it so dense in consistency that even when melted it is thick and not suitable for glazing, but only for decoration.
Ludasik
Ellena, maybe your glaze is thermostable? I take the usual glaze, curly, Russian production. It can hardly be called chocolate. But it is delicious and melts perfectly. Try to look for another. I really want you to have beautiful pops.

How I tried. So neat !!! And in what proportion did you make potatoes? And this is your glazing with what kind of ganache made of chocolate or glaze ???

And this is your glazing with what kind of ganache made of chocolate or glaze ???
Lena, thanks for your approval. I made potatoes by eye.
standard ganache for 100 g of cream 100 g of dark chocolate. She threw chocolate into hot cream and stirred until smooth. As soon as the mixture at room temperature has become, I dip the pops.
Ilona
Girls, here someone asked a question where to expose cake pops? And no one answered something ... since they are mastic for me, then maybe here?

My first Cake pops "Animals".
Chocolate potatoes with sour cream and butter cream with boiled condensed milk, in the middle, a cherry in alcohol. The weight is small, those that are animals are somewhere around 45 g, and those in glaze (2nd row) and in chocolate (3rd row) - 35 g. I don't know how you make them big? I saw small currents in the video ... I did it in proportion to the stick, it turned out like that. But I didn’t do it for clients, but as a gift. But in general, you were puzzled by what they should still be? I piled up with them, because the glaze was not needed, and even now I still did not really understand what it should be, so that it would not crack and that it would be possible to paint it in pure colors, and not in what it would turn out.

Where do you get yours? Give me a tip! I have a girl, a neighbor in the office, going home to Ukraine, maybe I can order it at her address, and she will bring it to me then.

And I bought the glaze from the joint venture on the Make'n Mold website, multi-colored. It is excellent in quality. And now we have Ukrainian glaze, much cheaper, I have not tried it yet, but according to reviews it is not bad. True, the range of colors is very limited.
Can't you buy it white and paint it as you like?
Maryam
Hello, just registered with you)) here are my cake pops))
I have a question, I read everything, but I can't understand which glaze is better, I need colored pops, I tried to tint the white glaze and white chocolate, I ordered paints for glaze and chocolate, but nothing: (please advise something !! !
