Barley with sour cream and cheese (Cuckoo 1054)

Ingredients

Pearl barley 2 dimensional st.
Water 2 m. St.
Vegetable oil 10 ml.
Bulb onions 1 PC
Salt taste
Spice taste
Sour cream 1 glass
Cheese 150 g

Cooking method

  • In the cuckoo bowl, fry the pre-soaked cereal with onion on the mode "Oven", third level, 3 minutes.
  • After the end of this regime, add water, sour cream, it is advisable to place it evenly over the pearl barley, pour everything on top with grated cheese.
  • Select the "Pilaf" mode and turn on the button.
  • The dish turned out to be delicious, but that I was confused by the excessive fry. My husband does not eat barley AT ALLI ate this one with great pleasure.
  • My observations: the program started in 20-00, at 20-20 he began to make a little noise of steam, at 20-39- steam dump, at the same time an inscription appeared on the board ... cooking is ready ... and the remaining time is 14 minutes... Therefore, I could easily turn off this program, which I did and, in general, it was correct, otherwise I think the fry would have been more, this of course can and gives a certain piquancy to the dish, but I did not need it in this recipe.
  • Barley with sour cream and cheese (Cuckoo 1054)

Note

Conclusions: I still did not fully understand how the program works, it looks more like an "Oven" ... why the dish was fried (sour cream or something else) is not very clear to me, so I will continue to experiment with this mode.

Tanya, did I understand correctly that the program needs to be forcibly turned off after 40 minutes? and if you do not turn off that dish is fried?

Yes, for some reason I got fry, I would have done this pearl barley better on Kashevarka now.
