Beautiful bread.
It seems to me that if you pre-fry the onion until golden brown, it will be even more interesting.
Once I bought supermarket bread Onion with cheese - onion and cheese in it were pieces - delicious.
And I tried to make at home - a bread maker and onions, and ground the cheese into porridge.
Experiment, maybe you will succeed, good luck!

I tried it with fried and not fried, for me it is the same, you probably need to add cheese at the very end - we will try

And when to add onions? Forgive me, such a stupid thing I only get acquainted with a bread maker for 5 days

Tatyk, if you put the onion at the very beginning, along with all the other ingredients, it will grind and be completely invisible in the bread, only the aroma will be felt.
If you want to see the onion in pieces, add 5-7 minutes before the end of the kneading or at a signal. I don't know what kind of bread maker you have, but there is usually a beep near the end of the batch to add additives. Some models have a dispenser for additives, then you need to select the program on which this dispenser will work.

I fry the onion, put it right away, pieces remain in the loaf:
