Good evening everyone
Help in choosing. Since you, I look everywhere, help everyone if it doesn't bother you. Panasonic 257 or Kenwood 350, the difference is $ 60.

But what is more practical and reliable. And the truth is that Panas cooks in such a way that on the forums I look as much as they do not fight with their shoulder blades.

What would you buy yourself.
Having their own experience and (after chatting on the forum) what they say their opinion is even so, what is most successful.

And then I just can not understand, then Panas is super and do not come or Kenwood, and who Or a mule? And then it does not fry the crust in the mule, it buzzes when the batch is generally lost.
When he himself worked in restaurants, the confectioners had Kenwood confectionery mixers. 90 g

By hearsay H. P Kenwood good

But Panas also seems to be nothing, but I know for the microwave ovens from Chefs from Moscow. Well, okay, time is running, technologies are running.

In order to "
Bread with cereals Supplements, cupcakes for a child, something sweet could be cooked, and most importantly natural, and not EEEEE.

Thank you so much.

Shevadi , before buying a bread machine, I also read the forum for a very long time, in the end I bought Panas 255, I am very pleased with it (if at that time there were 257 models on sale, I would probably have bought it).
I bake from January every other day, or even more often. I have already tried different bread: French, rye, wheat, grain, sweet and rich baked well. I like that there is a dispenser. You can add various additives to it and, by setting a timer, go to work, for example.
So good luck and delicious bread!

I bought Panas 255, it differs from 257 only in the absence of a dispenser. Satisfied. With what I can compare - ski, I don't remember the model. Panas is definitely better, but it's all a matter of habit, rather. Good luck in choosing
Qween
Shevadi, hello!
You asked a question, as if personally for me.

I own both the stoves in question. When I, for the first time, chose HP, Kenwood-350 and Panas-255 "fought" between themselves. I picked Kenwood, nuuuu ... you know ... convection iya, stainless steel body and so on.

When on our forum, the owners of Panas, praised their stoves, I was even upset, because I loved my Kenwood. At the same time, the bread from Kenwood made me very happy, only recently, it had a white roof, and no longer rosy.

But, periodically, during kneading and proofing, such a strong heating was turned on that the yeast simply died, and I got out such a little bread-brick. Well, and other "little things" ... You know how "cool" it looks when the "screw" moves in the bucket, from below, and it is no longer possible to snap the bucket into the grooves. You stand over the stove, and you move this screw a millimeter to the side, then, in the hope of trying to install the bucket into the grooves. No! Again, something did not match there.
And so a good stove. I even wanted to buy her a round bucket.

You know, when I could not stand it, I complained to my friend. She also has Kenwood-350, so she answered me that her stove had the same jokes, only she did not tell me.

More:
I bake bread from fairly damp dough. But in Kenwood, this is the maximum, some kind of "spindle-like jellyfish", which with its tip clings to the edge of the bucket. And in Panasonic I can afford to bake from a very liquid dough, from which I could only bake in the oven, and in Kenwood there would be an uneven roof.

Definitely - the quality of the finished bread is higher (several times) from Panas. I only realized this when I started to bake in it myself.

So, as you already understood, I advise the good old Panas.
Believe me, after you start baking in Panasonic, you will forgive him $ 60.

If you have any questions - write.

PS: Although, I have a Kenwood blender.

Thank you so much. To everyone who was not lazy and answered.

After a search, I saw a store where they give 3 years. The guarantee for Panas suits me for 5.

And of course, after your advice, I made the decision Panas257, period.

By the way, as I was assured that Panas is almost the founder of H.P. that's understandable where the legs grow and why it warms up to the required temperature and more time, but as they say, beauty requires sacrifice.

As discussed from another forum:
SD-257 and SD-255 are better than Kenwood BM-350, but BM-350 is better than SD-254 or SD-256, but there is also Kenwood BM-450, everything is different there.

According to reviews and in fact:
Panasonic is better

it's generally good to go to a store, choose, see how it looks, and then buy through the online store
Shevadi
Cool Panas It's super. Yes, there is no window, no backlight, but this is not the main main quality. Let's see what he can do.
Shevadi
Well, let's say the hood works louder than it.

Which oven is easier to use and handle: kenwood BM450 or panasonic sd-257?
volcano
Good day!

I ask for help with choosing a stove, I know that this is already a hackneyed topic, I watched a lot, but it's still very difficult to decide ... And I know that every sandpiper ... too, it's still understandable.

Basically, I want to hear the opinions of those bakers who have used several devices.

I need to decide whether to take a specifically expensive stove (Panas 257, Kenwood 450 or bork of the same price category, I don't remember the numbers, as far as I understood they are comparable in quality), or take a very cheap stove (which then) just for white bread ...

I need:
- white
- the black
- with additives (grain or whatever ...)
- Pizza dough
- dough for dumplings (with an expensive stove, this is one of the main requirements, otherwise it makes no sense for me to overpay) or noodles ..

Or take some kind of binaton for 2000 and not suffer?

Maybe some stoves unknown to me cope well with my requests? Tell me please!
tat-63
for your requests unambiguously Panasonic 257, it is more reliable
volcano
I understand that 256 and 257 are the same, only there is no dispenser ..
I saw the opinion that this stove cannot cope with kneading hard dough.
Qween
volcano, back in 256 there is no "Rye" mode.
About kneading hard dough: Kenwood, for example, is more difficult to knead.

I also want to say that Panas is an HP that is not audible at night. Previously, all doors were closed at night if the HP should bake in the morning. And now we don't even close the kitchen.
volcano
Thank you!
As far as I understood, rye can be baked in grain mode.
Only now 256 is still not in Internet stores, and in ordinary stores, if there is, then the price is about 7 sput

And if we consider the model of about 4 thousand, is it really something sensible to take?
DenRassk
What does it mean to you - easier or more difficult to operate?

All HPs require the same sequence of operations:
open the lid - take out the bucket - load it with the necessary components - put the bucket in place - close the lid - plug the HP into the outlet - select the program - the weight of the roll - the crust color - if necessary, set the delayed start - press the program start button - add additives to the dough if necessary - wait until the end of baking - disconnect the CP from the outlet - open the lid - take out the bucket - close the lid - take out the bread from the bucket - wash it - put it to dry - put it in the CP after drying.

That's actually all that you will do with any HP after purchasing it.

There are two differences between these HPs:
- 450 does not have a dispenser and therefore you need to be on duty near it and pour additives yourself. In 257 there is a dispenser and additives must be poured before starting work with HP, and she will add them to the dough herself.
- Kenwood allows you to cook according to your program, Panasonic only has what is.

Although the glossy finish of the 450th Kenwood may be problematic - it needs to be constantly polished - then yes ... Kenwood will be more difficult to operate ... well, programming also adds complexity.

By the way - why exactly Kenwood 450, and not Binatone 2068? Functionally the same ... only the price is twice different ...
Rina
This Kenwood also has a dispenser.

We have a section Comparison of bread makers, look there for questions about Kenwood 450 and Panas 255. And here is one of the messages from the user of both stoves

Damn ... sorry ... I probably didn't read something about him carefully when I chose HP for myself.
Then there are still two differences:
- programming
- glossy surface

Both are minus Kenwood in terms of operational complexity ...
But don't listen to me ... maybe you have other criteria

By the way - if I understood the proposed review correctly, then Binatone 2068 has more advanced programming (I read its instructions) compared to Kenwood, but .... does not have a dispenser.
Rina
Why not listen to this? On the contrary, you have a very well described sequence of work with any HP.
Sens
i find kenwood BM450 easier!
we bake rye bread at Panasonic on two programs (kneading, turn off the c. p., then proofing for 1-2 hours, then we need to go up and turn on the baking)
if this cycle can be programmed in kenwood, then it is more convenient
Rina

this is at Panasonic 254/256. 255/257 has just a program with one kneading, one proofing and baking. By the way, I want to one of these days (when I run out of p.- ry. Bread) to break the program "gluten-free" for the same batch, one rise and baking.

Yes, and to understand programming - it is already "easier" does not pull (although, it needs to go through once or twice to understand the principle, and knowledge and skills behind the back do not carry).
Sens
What is the proving time on the rye program at 257?
after all, rye can go up for 2 hours and 3 ... I think the programmable distance time is more convenient!

hard to learn - easy to fight!

As a result, Kenwood 450 "caught my eye" next to Panasonic 256. I decided that Kenwood was cooler. I liked the programming more, how the knife "works" (for Panas in small steps, for Kenwood in a full circle ...), the bucket is fixed at Kenwood, at Panasa dangles, well, plus convection and a dispenser (we will chic). The appearance is also more pleasant, on top there is just a glass cover on the entire plane, except for the buttons, although, of course, you can easily take fingerprints
In general, I read you and I will experiment in the evening

The most important thing is that there is already a stove, which means there will be bread, in any case

I'm embarrassed to ask, but how does Panas' scapula "work in small steps," is it spinning or what?
And the fact that the bucket "dangles" is called a backlash, this is so that the stove does not jump on the table in the case of a very dense dough, for example
Andreevna
Celestine
I, too, don't understand how it is, in small steps, like I have two Panas and not one does not walk like that. Seems to understand what we are talking about. When Panasonic starts kneading, it spins neatly in a circle. stirring in flour so that it does not spray especially, and then twists and turns the bun ogogo like. Probably volcano I saw only the beginning of the process and calmed down.
Rina
Yes, at the beginning of work in Panasonic the mixer spins "jumps", drawing water into flour, due to this the stove does not get dusty.
Fixing the bucket - I like it more in Panas, put it on and forgot. And in my German you need to follow the bucket - everything strives to fly off the grooves.
volcano
Yes, I'm talking about the beginning of the batch.
It's not that I'm worried that much, it's just that visual perception (not just appearance) plays a significant role in choosing any device. After all, everyone always writes about this.

In any case, as Celestina said, there is a stove, so there will be bread, it remains only to learn
Well done, I poured liquid into the first "pancake", the second came out nothing ... Passable for a complete layman I will study the forum
Today I tried to knead a tough dough in it (they gave me a recipe for Easter cake with the stove, which I didn't have time to bake this year, I decided to try it in the stove), sometimes the knife "jams", I don't have enough strength to turn it. Thinks for a couple of seconds and then turns. But there is a very steep dough straight out, it seems to me, even for dumplings it will be easier .. a mistake in the recipe, probably.
Rina
if the dough is rich and steep, then definitely a mistake. The pastry should not be dry, otherwise the crumb will turn out tough.

Yes, I understood, it was not at all like cake dough, I usually knead it with my hands calmly, and then the car barely ...

The recipe for Easter is super. The one in Panas's book so Panas and all conclusion 1

Good evening everyone! I found the forum after the purchase of HP. I chose it based on the experience of friends, acquaintances, shop consultants. Somehow we were not particularly advised by Panasonic in the store, although the price is higher. In the end, I settled on the Kenwood 450. The device is only two weeks old, but almost all the recipes have already been tested. Of the not very successful recipes, only rye bread (he forced me to look for additional information, in the end I found this super site). What I like - ease of use, easy maintenance, timer, glass roof, dispenser. As for the noise, it depends on which apartment we have not heard at night.
Thank you so much for this site !!!
volcano
Somehow strange, Panas is cheaper than Kenwood by about 2.5 sput. and Kenwood does not have rye bread in standard programs ...

Hello! Please tell me which program you use to bake sweets and pastries? As far as I know, in the baking mode, Panas do not have kneading, but I would like to not knead Easter cakes and cupcakes for the children themselves .... (in a day, my first bread maker, Panasonic SD-2511, should be delivered to me). And is it really possible to make a curd cake on some program in this bread maker, so much so that you just throw in all the ingredients and turn it on, and she herself kneaded and baked)
Korata
Quote: NetMistrust
in baking mode Panas have no kneading
So you can make a batch on the program of dumplings (without heating) or pizza (with heating). Then either immediately turn on the baking, or first get out the knife so that there is not a large gap in the bottom, and then baking
grinaty
NetMistrust Natalia, you can search for "Cupcakes in a bread maker" or "Easter cakes in a bread machine", for example, https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...ption=com_smf&board=681.0
There is EVERYTHING on the site, just look

How to deliver the bread maker, read the instructions - you will understand on which program it is better to just knead the dough (pizza or butter dough), they differ in different kneading / proofing times, or you will choose a standard program to suit your desires.
Required read the master class Admin - Tatiana about "kolobok" https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...ion=com_smf&topic=49808.0
You will find many answers to questions in the section - Bread Kneading and Baking Basics https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...ption=com_smf&board=131.0
Little by little you will get involved and wonder how everything will turn out to be simple later, that's my word of honor. Good luck!
