Cooking method

  • After 2 hours and 20 minutes, we get ready-made excellent dough, which squeaks pleasantly under our hands and does not stick to them.
  • Knead the dough to remove air and roll out into a 23 cm (approx.) Square.
  • Spread with the remaining butter (30 g), sprinkle with the rest of the sugar (30 g), lay out the dried fruits and candied cherries and roll into a roll.
  • Cut into 9 identical pieces and arrange three in a row in a greased dish (I only have a round one) Sprinkle with cane sugar. Leave for 15-20 minutes for proving in a warm place and bake for 20-25 minutes in a preheated 180 (gas), 200 (electric) oven. Chill before portioning.

Lenusya, thanks for the recipe. Speckled today. True, it seems that my mold was too small - they were too crowded. And, it seems to me, the dough turned out to be more gray, because I baked on lard. I put dried apricots, apples (dried in a dryer myself), raisins and a little cherry from the jam in the filling. My cinnamon is respected, so I put it in too. Eat and praise !!! I'll try it myself in the morning.
