Baked peppers with feta cheese

Category: Yeast bread

Ingredients

Pepper varieties 10 pieces.
Brynza 250 g
Egg 3 pcs.
Oil 125 g
Parsley 1/4 bundle
A tomato 1 PC.

Cooking method

  • Wash the pepper, peel off the seed and salt a little inside, pierce it close to the tip. Beat the eggs and add finely chopped parsley, chopped feta cheese and skinless tomato to them. Fill the peppers with this mixture and place them on a baking sheet, cover with melted butter and bake over moderate heat.

  • Option 2
  • First, bake the pepper, remove the peel, fill it carefully with the filling (it is the same as in the previous recipe), roll in batter and fry in a pan until golden brown.
  • Every part of Bulgaria is cooked differently. This is from the northern Black Sea region. Or you can just bake the pepper, remove the skin and again fry it, roll it in batter.

Drying, have you prepared this dish yourself? It is difficult to somehow imagine how you can fill peppers with a liquid filling.

Cooking, cooking, but how? , here is another similar recipe
Baked peppers with feta cheese
6 bell peppers (preferably with a sharp nose, like mine, they are easier to flatten, in addition, they are fleshy and juicy, here they are called "Kapia")
- 2 eggs
- 300 g feta cheese
For breading:
- 2 eggs
- flour
- bread crumbs
- vegetable oil for frying Bake peppers in the oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, it is important not to "bake" it, otherwise it will creep in the future. As soon as the skin is darkened and swollen, the peppers are ready. Put them in a plastic bag, close tightly and leave for 15 minutes, then gently peel off the skin and seeds so that the peppers remain intact. Beat the eggs for the filling slightly, add the mashed cheese (if there is no cheese or you feel sorry for Wink, then you can replace it with cottage cheese and salt, but it tastes better with the cheese), mix everything, you should get a thick mass. You can also add finely chopped parsley, but I prefer to sprinkle it on the finished dish. Gently stuff the peppers with the filling, give them a flat shape, roll in flour, then in beaten eggs, then in breadcrumbs and again in eggs and put them on a frying pan with heated oil to fry. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and that's it, the dish is ready.
