Ingredients

beef liver 500-750 gr
carrot 2 pcs
bulb onions 2 pcs
butter 1 pack

Cooking method

  • about five years ago we often made liver pate at home - very easy to prepare and very tasty! I don't remember the exact number of components now, so I indicate approximately
  • cut the liver (cubes about 3-4 cm in size), carrots into slices (not small!), onion also into cubes, like a liver. do not spare carrots and onions, with them the pate is tastier and more tender
  • lightly fry the onions, carrots and liver, literally for a few minutes, otherwise the liver will become tough, add water (you can mix it with milk or cream - as you like) and simmer for half an hour. DO NOT DRAIN !!! keep the liver covered with fluid and check for readiness with a fork. now we transfer everything (with a minimum amount of liquid) into a large bowl, add butter (softened), salt to taste and break with a blender. if you find it thick, add the liquid remaining after extinguishing. put in a convenient dish and put in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. very tasty pate, always leaves with a bang !!!
  • we stewed in a cauldron, but now I want to try to do it in a multicooker - I will immediately report

She advised to sauté the onions in olive oil, add a boiled egg, nutmeg and cognac. Everything else is the same as that of the author of this post.
