Beetle extractor
Two weeks ago I bought Kuko 1054, which appeared 2 months ago, Kuko 1010 (also a pressure cooker). It was sold for a stock for 9900r. What I want to say, if I had not bought 1054, then I would not have bought 1010 either. On the issue of operation: in 1010 the pan is wider, the frozen tongue of an irregular shape lay on the bottom, so in 1054 it was placed only vertically with the lid open. The quality of the pot in 1010 is good, there are hieroglyphs on the table. Less power than 1054 - you can feel it. I set the lamb to cook in both pots, pieces of meat of the same volume (for beshbarmak), keeping in mind the different capacities, at 1054 time I set 1 hour, and at 1010 - 1.5, so they signaled readiness at the same time. It's strange. By the way, in 1054 the meat fell off the steering wheel, and in 1010 it was stoically kept on the bone. I also stewed cabbage with mushrooms in parallel for the winter (many probably know him: cabbage, onions, carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes). So, all other things being equal, cabbage in 1054 almost fell apart, and in 1010 it kept its shape well. The only thing I'm missing in the 1010 is the fry mode, although could anyone find it in an empire way? I haven't tried the oven yet. By the way, in 1010 a book with recipes is more adequate. Takeaway: Look at 1010 when stocks are on. Nice saucepan, even without the special effects like reminders and crows. If you have any questions, ask.
Taha
I have a question for the Beetle Extractor: I can't figure out how many liters are in the CUCKOO 1010? on different sites they write differently, where 4.1, and where 2.35. So what is the volume?
And another question: did you find the frying mode?
Tanyulya
Taha, just measured with a measuring glass, the volume of the bowl to a scale of 10 is exactly 3 liters.
Lid open frying mode Are you interested in? If yes, then this model with an open lid does not work. Good luck.
There will be more questions with joy than I can share.
julifera
Useful utility software 1010:

1. Cook with the lid open can - you just need to turn the knob to position "Closed".

ATTENTION only:
the weight of the loaded products must be sufficient so that the bowl presses the sensor down, otherwise the Cuckoo will show even with the handle closed that it is not closed!
For example: a small onion + oil is not enough to start any program and fry.

2. You can change the temperature Heating - from 69 From to 77 FROM.

3. Steam drops quickly - for 3-4 minutes!

___________

I will try to do the frying now and see which of the programs is stronger.
The multi-cook turned out to be slower than the Chicken Soup, so I will take the programs for frying - Potato and Chicken Soup.
julifera
Tanyulechka, I still have one gnawing question:

How to run the program "High pressure" NOT in Turbo mode ?? ??
After all, Warka and Turbo are on the same button?

I'm in a stupor ... because the instructions are for High Pressure:
separately for Turbo and separately for just cooking ...
julifera
Tanyulya help, help, SOS ...

The question now arose quite the opposite - by default on High pressure just turns on Cooking, but how to enable Turbo?

I tried to hold down the button Cooking / Turbo for a few seconds - it did not help, the turbo indicator did not light up

I rummaged through the entire instruction 5 times - either I'm blind, or it really isn't written there
zvezda
In my opinion, it does not work on all programs. In general, you need to press this button twice.
julifera
Yes zvezda, not at all, at 1010 - according to the instructions, it works exclusively on the program "High pressure"

Press 2 times - this is the very first thing I tried

In short, my people are simply not able to eat as much as I cook at night and during the day for training purposes.
But out of curiosity, I still started buckwheat now on "High pressure" without Turbo, I thought, well, maybe by default it will somehow turn on by itself

Nifiga, at the 19th minute it showed that there were 8 minutes left - in total, strictly according to the schedule: 27 minutes - for 1 multi-glass of buckwheat + 2 glasses of water
Forcibly disconnected at 20 minutes, I wonder what happened to taste

Now I will lay out a temporary table, the Cuckoo is certainly super - the minute worked, but where is this Turbo ??
_______________
PS

Buckwheat in 20 minutes - AWESOME !!!
But how to run it without surveillance

Tanyulya
julifera , Congratulations again! Turbo mode is just a double tap on the Cooking button.
julifera
Finally, by double-clicking, I managed to run Turbo-mode, uff, well, I really don't know why yesterday it didn't work, maybe I pressed very quickly ...

This I have an e-book - so there the menu wakes up on a double knock, and so the knock-knock needs to be done quickly one after the other, I'm probably used to it, but with the Cuckoo it can be calmer, it's still good
Unika
And I didn't really understand something with the timer. In the menu, select Kashi, then press the Timer button, the time 6:30 suits me (I sort of set the clock to our time) and then press the Cooking button? but on my display it still lights up at 6:30 is it supposed to be that way or some kind of countdown should appear? And it also turned out that I ran out of round rice, and therefore, having rummaged in the open spaces of the Internet, I seemed to find the preparation of porridge from oatmeal, I even loaded everything into a pot
Tanyulya
Choose the porridge menu, the timer for the time you need and that's it, you don't need to press the cooking. The board will light up green. Good luck.
julifera
Unika

Program "Porridge" - This is a very slow-moving program, which in principle is suitable for oatmeal, but it lasts 80-95 minutes.
I'm afraid that oatmeal takes so long to cook.
Now, if you had whole-grain oatmeal - then yes, the Porridge program would be very useful.

Maybe the cereal would be worth making, for example, on the program "Low pressure"?
Tanyulya, what do you think? "Low pressure" I have not tried yet, I hope it is not very boiling, so that the ossyanka does not run away?
Unika
Thanks for the help, now, just in case, I clicked Cancel and clicked everything as it should, it lights up as before, green and says 6:30 time setting
Tanyulya
I didn't cook oatmeal on "low", but the rice was boiling and steam was strong, but about oatmeal ... I will not say
Unika

Oh, forgive an inexperienced user, but what is it on Low?
P.S and tomorrow I will write what happens

When you press the menu, the cursor moves in turn, first the "High pressure" program, and "Low pressure" is the second after it

Yes, I wonder what happens, it's a pity that you won't catch the cooking time
julifera
And here I am trying to find a program for macaros horns, so that the bottom ends up fried (like on the Plov program in Panasonic).

First, on autopilot, after reading about 1054, that the program "Kasha" was just a beast, put them on Kasha.
As a result, after 30 minutes I look - my valve is somehow barely moving, I even thought that the Cuckoo was faulty on this program.

Then, all the same, I looked at the instructions for a while and it dawned on me that the Porridge program, on a very quiet run, would make one large dumpling from the horns without meat for more than an hour
In short, after 30 minutes I stopped, niche, ate.

Today I set High pressure + Turbo - everything is not bad, sometimes even tasty, but where is my favorite fried crust?

The next test will be at High pressure only without Turbo.
Otherwise, I don't like uncooked pasta at all, I want a crust at least shoot
It was lucky that the son eats them in any form, if something does not work out again, he will save
Unika
Well, I set the timer at 6:30 with a report, opened it at 7:00, so that I still had it there for 30 minutes. Kashka turned out to be just a little thick, too, it came out just right, it didn't burn and didn't turn sour, I did it according to this recipe:
6st. l oatmeal
1 liter of milk (I took cold, pasteurized, 2.5% fat)
1h l salt
1 st. l with a large slide of soft butter (you could have had more)
I didn't add sugar (added already to the finished one)
I moistened the saucepan with water, poured out the cereal, poured milk, added salt and butter, chose the PORTRAIT mode in the menu, turned on the TIMER at 6:30 and went to sleep peacefully ... In the morning, my daughter woke me up "let's go, he says, try the porridge" it tasted good ..
Tanyulya
Unika, with a start! I am glad that everything worked out for you and that you are satisfied. No photos? and put the recipes here

thanks for the hint
Yes, there are a couple of spoons left now, I'll take a picture and add a recipe, we can help anyone else
Unika
I want to stew the meat, there is a program for Stewing meat, do I need to use it or is it better than Mkltipovara? I decided to first hold Turbo at high pressure for a little bit and then dock the onion and it will be necessary to decide on the program somehow
Tanyulya
On "stew", small pieces cook very well, something like goulash or with prunes. Pork was stewed there sooo tender meat turns out.

I’ll probably try medium-sized beef on stewing, but do you need to put onions right away? And here's another question about how to stop it so that you can report something, and then start it again?
Tanyulya
It is better to lay everything down at once, just then you will need to release the pressure, turn off (that is, interrupt the program), then turn on everything again. For the first time, it's better to try to lay everything at once. Good luck. Then lay out the recipe.
Unika
the meat turned out awesome. I first held it for about 10 minutes on a high Turbo, then I added the onion with seasonings and turned it on for Stewing, but I messed up something with the rice, it turned out to be sticky porridge, I cooked it on High without Turbo, maybe I needed Turbo? proportions made as written 5 cups of rice, water on the 5th level of white rice

Girls, hello!
I still have the agony of choosing a slow cooker. It seems like I'm stopping at model 1010. In the internet I read the info that ordinary pressure cookers (those that are used on the stove) can explode. I wonder what is the cooking safety of the 1010 cuckoo? After all, it can work like a pressure cooker. Please don't laugh. I just want to cook and enjoy the purchase and the cooking process, and are not afraid of this unit.
And another question: does the cuckoo have a lot of steam during cooking?
Thank you.
Tanyulya
No one will laugh. Safety at the highest level, works like a pressure cooker. There are several degrees of protection. It won't explode like the old Soviets (before I know there were such cases when I was little), this is not the option ... believe me.
There is steam, but not strong. Main steam, somewhere around 30 seconds maximum 1 minute three minutes before the end of cooking. During the cooking process, the steam output is not significant ... it's easier to say not even. But I do not advise you to put it under the lockers. I hope it helped a little.
Good luck with your choice.
Val
Good afternoon everyone!

It was already ripe to buy Dex 50, but today, going to the store, I saw cuckoo 1010, and that's it: it's gone !! The saucepan is something something! Girls, tell me, can she bake? For me, this function is important, I want chic biscuits, which happy owners of multicooker enthusiastically write about here on the forum.Yes, and by the way, about the competence of our sellers: the seller told me very confidently that a saucepan with a volume of 4.5 liters
julifera
Val - oh, take while give!

Right now, I'll write a bunch of pluses compared to Dex and only one minus
julifera
So:

Cuckoo 1010
:

- bakes gorgeous on Multipovar - does not overshoot!
- cooks much faster than a simple multicooker!
- porridge is never so tasty in a simple cartoon as in Kukushka!
- 4.9 liters fit into my saucepan up to the eyeballs, which means that the working volume is really 4.5 liters
- cooks very gently, nothing burns
- there are modes for every taste and color, starting with a very slow-moving one, such that even the valve does not rustle, ......., and ending with Turbo
- heats up perfectly along the entire height of the pan, and even from the side of the lid heats up decently - there is 3D heating!

Disadvantage:
- the valve whistles and blows off steam loudly, you have to get used to (well, this is a property of all pressure cookers)

The fact that it is not so easy, without letting off steam, climb in the middle of the process in order to mix something there - I do not consider this a disadvantage, because if I want, I let off steam and climb to mix or add whatever is needed.

Take it - you will not regret it for a minute !!!
Tanyulya
Val, DEX of course I did not use, but I am happy with the ten. So take it, I think you will not regret it. Good luck to you. I really like her with julifera, I agree one hundred percent.
Val
julifera and Tanyulya , thanks a lot for the answers!

Tanyulya, just watched a video on you tube about 1054 (),
Please enlighten if this model is much better than the 1010. I understand that the pan in it is even "cooler" and there is a voice guide, but what else is so distinctive that it is worth overpaying for it? And I didn't quite understand, in 1010 it is still possible to fry if necessary? (I apologize in advance if somewhere in the topics about "cuckoos" there are answers, now there is no time to read everything).
Tanyulya
I will try to answer briefly, but convey the idea

1010-ten
1054-induction hence the heating rate is higher

1010 can fry with the lid open
1054 we can fry with the lid open (it's just faster and more powerful here)

1010 no voice guide
1054 is (well, I guess ... it's not a global function, although it's sooooo convenient)

1010 and 1054 are both pressure cookers, that is, they cook under pressure, which is their whole charm ... for me personally, it is fast, tasty, preserves useful substances and a number of vitamins and ... in general, it is convenient!

1010 the steam release valve is not so delicate (if liquids have been poured, it can give a good trickle to the ceiling)
1054 is done more softly and delicately ...
Pots ... well, this is a controversial issue, about the coolness, I sooooo like a saucepan in 1010 and its shape and quality, 1054 is certainly better, but the same has its drawbacks, although it is stated that it does not scratch, there will still be minimal abrasions, that is, you should not wait for something ... not earthly.

If I were choosing now ... well, I don't know which one I would take, I love both of them, but still I would probably take 1054, just because I ... would be drawn to her ...

But I really like the 1010. Today I was frying and steaming potatoes in it ... well, chuuudo is so good, and 1054 is now making soup ..

Although milk porridge is still somehow tastier at 1010. Well, it seems to have covered everything, if something specific, ask with pleasure I will answer.
Val
Tanyulya, Thanks again for the detailed answer! I still could not resist, put all the work aside and went over the topic a little, and what my disappointment was when I read that the saucepan was Teflon coated. Earlier, when I first read about this company on the Internet, there was an emphasis in the description on the fact that the coating is harmless, marble, which interested me very much. By the way, when I looked at the 1010 today, it seemed to me that this model has just such a saucepan coating. It turns out that, unfortunately, everything is wrong. I have a question for you, as the owner of both models, is the coating of a pan of model 1010 in a speckled marble effect - is it Teflon? Maybe today I came across a cartoon really with a marble saucepan?, It was very heavy
Tanyulya
The pans are sooo heavy, in 1010 I even like the coating better, but it's Teflon or marble spraying .... as a user I can't say, according to the documents, spraying .... to the touch .. I don't know ... But the coating of the pots is different .. definitely.
Val
It's finished!
Today I decided to show the cartoon 1010 to my husband "live" in the store where I saw it on Tuesday, all the more, and there is a reason, the day before yesterday it was my birthday and we agreed to buy it for me as a gift, just try to find it cheaper in online store. Before going to the store, I called to find out if it was still on sale, it turned out that it was already sold. But since there are two more stores of this network in the city, I called there, and they answered me that just today there is a special offer for this cartoon - a 50% discount from 10 to 13 hours and they only have 1 piece in stock. In general, I realized that this was fate and asked the manager to postpone it for me. Now I am already boiling potatoes and do not be offended if sometimes I bore you with questions until I deal with this miracle of technology.
julifera
Val - I join in the congratulations!!!
It is very comfortable, to the point where I’m already beginning to forget what gas cooking is.

True, I still boil potatoes for mashed potatoes on the stove and beat them in the same pan, so while it is boiling for 30-40 minutes I already itching to burn it for a long time ...
Unika
Girls imagine, I had to quench the fish in large chunks a little, put it on high pressure and turbo, added only a little onion and butter to the fish (since I planned to use the whole thing on filling the fish pie) so after the allotted time (but it took a little , since there were only a few products there) opened the lid and was sooooo surprised, since the fish turned out to be with a FRYED crust and the onions were soft
Val
Unika , Thank you! I am very pleased! I can't help but brag about the result, the potatoes were almost eaten, I didn't have time to photograph, but the charlotte is lukewarm. Girls, I kept her like a recipe for 40 minutes, but something seems to me she is "pale"? Maybe it is necessary to increase the time or so it should be?

Helping each other, questions and answers on cooking CUCKOO 1010
zvezda
Val !!! I congratulate you on the past and on the purchase !!!! Wow, you got a charlotte? !!! : swoon: Generally SUPER !!!!! Did the frying taste affect ???
Unika
Good charlotte, but how does it taste? And while they were taking me, Pts could not wait to read, well, in general, the book attached with the recipes was lost on the way, so now I’ll find this on the internet, or by typing, and I don’t even know all its possibilities, I wouldn’t even find where such a book is
Val
zvezda , Thank you! Already bit off a piece (um, looking at night). The taste is super, very fluffy and soft structure, only, as it were, it smells slightly of an egg, but this is normal for a biscuit dough, I'm just more a lover of cakes and have lost the habit of the taste of ordinary charlotte.

Unika , it's a pity, of course, that you lost the recipe book, but don't worry, here on the site 🔗 I found our book one to one, and then, when you understand the principle of work, you will adapt the recipes from the forum to yourself (as, indeed, I do)
Val
Girls! Need urgent help!
I put meatballs according to Tanyuli's recipe, it is recommended to fry for 2-3 minutes in it. in the "turbo" mode, but when I press this button, nothing happens, the light does not light up. Maybe I don't understand something, how it works? Please write down the sequence of actions with this button and what should happen. I'm waiting for the answer!
Tanyulya
Press this button twice and the program will start and the button will light up. Good luck!
Val
Tanyulya Thank you very much! And I pressed this button and held it down for several seconds. Well, you helped me out, otherwise I thought with fright that it was a marriage, and there was nothing to change for - there was only 1 piece in the store.
Val
Hello everybody!
Today I come to you with a failed experiment of baking a pie according to one of the recipes for multicookers of the Good Kitchen culinary forum. I give the composition:
"2 eggs
1 cup 15% sour cream
0.5 cups granulated sugar (you can put 1 cup if you like sweeter)
3/4 cup "lemon sugar" (blended lemon with rind and sugar in a 1: 1.5 ratio)
2 cups wheat flour (320 gr.)
1 tsp soda. "
My changes: put 1 tbsp. sugar, beat one half of it with eggs, chopped the other half with 1/2 lemon, put 1/2 tsp of soda, 300 g flour (I doubted that there was so much, but I believed the person who baked in the cartoon and posted a photo with a beautiful pie, I don't know, maybe so much is needed for a multicooker?).
And, in fact, the recipe itself:
“Beat eggs with sugar. Pour soda into a glass of sour cream and leave for 2-3 minutes. Pour "lemon sugar", sour cream into the egg mixture, add flour and stir (but do not beat!). Pour the mixture into a MV saucepan. Baking mode -60 + 20 minutes. " I added 5 minutes.

In general, the result is such that I do not even want to expose a photo: it turned out “something” low (4 cm), very dense and heavy that even chocolate cream could not save it (after trying a piece, there is still a lump in the stomach). But the cake is baked enough, not "cool".
So I think: what is the reason for this result - or is it because of the large amount of flour (I would put 1 glass for the oven), or did I do something else wrong?
She baked on a “multi-cook”.

Yes, apparently it's too early for me to be in euphoria from a successful biscuit, it's not so simple.

zvezda
VAL !!! I would not reduce the amount of baking soda by half and probably it would be better to mix it with flour, and then pour it into the eggs with sour cream. The dough is not very light anyway ...... In general, it's better to cook according to Tanyushka's recipes .... I somehow trust her more
