Beef with prunes in a multicooker Panasonic SR-TMH10

Ingredients

Beef 1 kg
Bulb onions 3-4 pcs.
Pitted prunes 200 g
Salt, pepper, ground coriander taste

Cooking method

  • Cut the onion into half rings, mix with prunes, salt, pepper, coriander. Wrinkle with your hands to crush the prunes.
  • Cut the meat into small pieces. Mix with onion.
  • Leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours. I do it differently. Today - pickled in the morning, did it in the evening.
  • Put a multicooker in a saucepan. No oil !!!... Extinguishing mode 2 hours.
  • Both meat and gravy are eaten (which is a rarity in our family!) Coriander gives a piquant touch.
  • Try it!
  • Cooking options:
  • Simmer on the stove over low heat for 2 hours.

Listen, what do you think, what if you "blender" the prunes with onions and spices and pour this sauce over the beef? Or not nat, it is better to throw everything in pieces?
lina
Innul, while Mistletoe is gone - I make such meat, only in the oven under the foil. No need to blend prunes !!! Let them pick out later who does not eat. In general, meat prunes are so delicious! But onions - you can easily chop a blender (for more liquid, put another tomato there, frozen). And instead of salt, soy sauce can be added, especially if the cow was not too young
lina
Gee, I wrote and it dawned on me - just in time for dinner, only pork is marinated (back) and I don't know yet if the potatoes will be separate or I'll add not just coriander, but a hellish mixture of spices (although pepper and coriander are there there is!)

Thanks, sunshine ! The thought of a blender came to me after the phrase
Wrinkle with your hands to crush the prunes.
So I thought to press so press ...

Well, what else? Dirty blender !!! Tiny Handles, handles !!

lina I don't like adding potatoes there. The flavor turns out to be meaty! It's better for me separately.
lina
Mistletoe
nothing that I fit

I did add potatoes. my husband really loves meat-flavored potatoes, but as for me, you need mashed potatoes with meat with prunes. and there are mashed potatoes and prunes, no meat

lina, they are these men, they would eat everything with meat flavor. As my husband once told me, after eating a salad, it is very tasty, but what are we going to eat? since then I have not experimented !!

I will lay out the turkey in prunes as a separate topic
Gaby
Tanya, we demand that the recipe be a separate topic - there is also a different type of meat, which means a completely different dish. (emoticon stomping with his foot).
And I speak quite seriously ...
Omela
celfh gaby I do not mind here, and a separate topic !!!
Gubki
Hello, first time I made beef in MV ...and lo and behold, never before have my beef turned out so juicy and soft ... always somehow dry and hard, which I just did not ... And here on you, such delicious, now I will cook beef only in MV .. ...
Omela
Gubki , eat to your health!
metel_007
I made this meat, thank you very much Omela for such a good recipe. The meat melts right in the mouth, the husband said that you can swallow your tongue
Omela
metel_007 , eat to your health !!! Glad you liked it!
Davli
Very delicious! and how much juice was cooked for gravy in the ARC multi-pressure cooker - 25 minutes on the "meat" mode - the most tender beef turned out !!!!
Omela
Davli , and thank you for your feedback!
nakapustina
OmelaChka, and if instead of prunes put pickled plums, it will ruin the dish very much?
Omela
Natasha, I didn't put pickled, but fresh, yes, with sugar. It just tastes completely different.
nakapustina
I see, maybe I'll risk it anyway
Omela
Good luck!
metel_007
I did it again - it's a fairy tale !!!
Tatiana S.
Omela, well, just no words! Thought, thought, what to cook from beef. I wanted something new for Christmas. I bought the cartoon not so long ago and, while the Nativity Fast was going on, cooked only lenten dishes in it. In search of a suitable recipe, I came across yours. The recipe and rave reviews about it inspired. I also seduced my colleagues with the cartoon, now I share with them the recipes I like. Two of us cooked such beef. Merry Christmas

I'm going to marinate the beef. Such a question 200g of prunes per 1 kg of meat is not a lot?
Tatiana S.
No, not much at all. Well, very tasty. Only I stewed for more than 2 hours, but it probably depends on the beef. Today we bought meat again, we are going to repeat
Omela
Tatiana S. , eat to your health !!! Glad that you liked it and thank you for your congratulations !!!

dandelion To understand a lot or a little, you should at least cook and try, because everyone has different tastes! I don't have much!
dandelion
Do not CUT the prunes, do I understand correctly? And yet, can you put potatoes in a double boiler over meat?
Omela
dandelion , it doesn't matter. If the prunes are large, cut them. I just wrinkle my hands with a bow.

I don't like to do that because the potatoes will darken. I cook meat and side dishes in different MBs.

Thank you. The question is probably a bad one .... dried prunes?
Omela
Yes, dried prunes.
dandelion
USYO. Marinated for dinner tomorrow! For a side dish, what is better for it?
Omela
Cook rice, it should be delicious with gravy!

exactly. I will do so. already drooling.
dandelion
Personally, I liked the beef with prunes. My husband and daughter are not supporters of new tastes. They are boring.
Omela
dandelion , glad that you personally liked it!

So I am taking this recipe with me! Now I bought myself some beef ... I took only 500 grams .. if I knew that the recipe needed more, then I would take more ... (or rather, if I saw the recipe before) .. And if I "diluted" with pork? Or stop by after work to buy additional beef? otherwise tomorrow would be a great dinner !!!

Anyuta, I do both beef and pork. Together, however, never. I think it will be fine. But in time, of course, you must focus on beef.

all the same, I will not put experiments .. there is a recipe .. I will have to go to buy another piece ... Yesterday I still did not dare to start cooking without your feedback.
Omela
The owner is a master !! Don't be afraid to experiment !!

So, my "beef" is now being cooked at home ... And I'm here at work ... Here's a question: Let it be in the heating mode until 18.00 (cook at about 10.20) or still ask the granny to turn off the unit? Otherwise, in the morning I warned her / instructed / showed what would have to be done if a "call" came from me!
Omela
Anyuta, I would disable.
* Anyuta *
.. urgently ran to call my grandmother!
Omela
Anya, don't be so sharp !!! Nothing happens even if you don't turn it off. It's just that if there is no way to turn it off, this is one thing, but turn it off .. then you will warm it up on heating. And electricity will not eat.

it's over, no .. I'm at work .. .. but my yesterday's process of preparing your dish .... Accordingly, the result will be tasted in the evening for dinner and published tomorrow .. But for now:

Beef with prunes in a multicooker Panasonic SR-TMH10 - there is still mayonnaise in the background. I added one tablespoon somewhere, because it seemed that the beef would be tough.

"Zhamkala" everything with her hands, but I preliminarily cut the prunes in half or 1/4

and this is what the "marinade" looks like

Well, the final view of the dish is presented a little later (if I have time to take a picture)

And I also wanted to ask about it ... but if you still make pork according to this recipe, then reduce the cooking time? What do you think? all this meat is soft, maybe an hour, a maximum of 1.5 is enough? or still 2 keep?
Omela
1.5 is enough .. And the readiness can be checked along the way. If, of course, there is such an opportunity.
