"Five-minute" from black currant
Category: Blanks
Ingredients
Black currant 1,800 g
Sugar 900 g
Cooking method

Grind a third of the total number of berries in a blender / mince together with sugar. While stirring, bring the mashed berry mass to a boil. Add the rest of the whole berries, mix gently and bring to a boil again. Boil for 5 minutes. Pour into sterile jars, roll up.

Note
It would seem much easier, but everyone makes this blank in different ways. I'll tell you how I do the "five-minute" ...

Such a blank is perfectly stored at room temperature! And sooo tasty !!! Today in the morning I have already cooked 2 liters ...

Blackcurrant jam "Delicate berry in light jelly" (measuring the components with a glass) (Rada-dms)

Black currant five minutes

Natural berry jelly (hot method) (Admin)

Black currant five minutes
nut
And I just finished cutting the jelly out of the black. currants (with cognac)
Irina_hel
Krosh, I do almost the same, but I introduce sugar differently. I bring the ground berries to a boil, add whole and gently stir, add sugar in a thin stream. After all the sugar has dissolved (after 5-7 minutes) I pour it into jars and roll it up. It turns out an amazing jelly with berries.
Only here, besides me, no one eats blackcurrant jam (unlike apricot jam with cognac). And for me there are still old stocks, so I don't even know where I will put the black currants this year.

so I don’t even know where I will put the black currants this year.

So, with such a short-boiled currant, where both color and taste are preserved, you will get delicious soufflé and filling for cheesecakes - in winter it will be just right

I want to ask how you prepare currants for cooking, do you have such tails on it, do you cut them off with scissors, or can you use them?
And then today I went through two glasses of currants, it's so long, with pruning.

how do you prepare currants for cooking

I rinse, let the water drain, dry it on paper towels ...

Quote: Lerele
or is it possible with them?

Can .

Some of these "tails" fall off when washing, and those that remain, I just do not pay attention ...
Lerele
Thank you, she reassured me, otherwise I'm going to pick up currants, they call me to two places, but yesterday I got sick so abruptly, I went through two glasses for almost an hour.
And another question, but if you crush and cook it all, will it work?
And then I don't want berries.
And will it stand without a refrigerator?
Before, my mommy always cooked for me, they bought here, I'm completely inexperienced in this matter

but if you crush it all and boil it, will it work?

Yes, no question, here is pure taste, for example, I like it with whole berries, but someone likes a homogeneous puree ...

Do as you like, it won't affect the taste exactly ...

And will it stand without a refrigerator?

And where did I say that I keep this blank in the refrigerator?

In the refrigerator, I only put that berry, rubbed with sugar, which is without heat treatment ...

And I keep the "five minutes" in the pantry, at room temperature ...

Just in case, I will draw your attention to the fact that I, banks with a "five-minute" I roll it up with a key under the tin lids ...

Lerele
Thank you very much!!!
True, I do not have seaming, but we do. Jars with screw caps are on sale. So I think it will work with them too. The rains will end, I'll go pick currants

Crochet, right like this, half as much sugar can I add? And can you store everything rolled up even without a refrigerator?
kil
+ Gala +of course it will be, they are mothballed, the jars are sealed, the compotes are stored, and there is much less sugar.
GruSha

The other day I prepared raw blackcurrant jam according to the principle of this "five-minute", deliciousahh !!!
Gaby
Sweetheart, honey, thanks for the recipe. I want to ask, but will it be possible to make jam from apricots like this?
Gaby
Dear Kroshenka, Inna, how is your father? I hasten to inform you that as recently as last night I made jam according to your recipe from malina. Thank you very much for the recipe for your most wonderful delicacy. The result is a delicious jam, of the most beautiful, bright color. Completely different from commonly made jam.
Marcy!

I decided to misbehave and try to write a letter in a syllable from the century before last ,. I'll rub it later. Thanks honey for the recipe. It turned out very well.

P.S. I didn't want to rub, left it as it is.
Trishka
Innus tell me, can you cook only currants using this technology, or other berries too (raspberries, apricots, cherries)?
Painfully like the recipe, quickly and without running around with a basin in the kitchen!
Crochet
Ksyushik, didn’t I say above)?

Absolutely any berry you can)!

That's what I do).

From what I have not cooked, the flight is excellent) !!!

This is my most-prettiest) favorite method of cooking a five-minute).
Vladimirovna
Crochet, Inna thanks for the recipe. Inspired me a pound of sugar. I have been putting 700 grams in the five-minute for a long time and thought that this was the limit.
But no, less is possible. Only I do not blender anything, I just crush a handful of berries in a saucepan with a crush and pour the rest when heating and gradually add sugar. After boiling for 5 minutes and into the jar. It chews perfectly.
