I answer the question svet_ik - how to separate cream from milk.

Mug for separating liquids

For example, if you need to separate fat from liquid in broth, or cream from milk.
The fat or cream always rises - then the liquid or milk can be drained through the spout and the cream will sink to the bottom of the mug.
The peculiarity of the mug is that the nose is low, at the bottom of the mug.

Not about a mug, but about how to divide ...
You can use a siphon made from a flexible tube of sufficient length, for example, from a dropper. It is also desirable that the container be transparent - this will allow you to control the process. In this way, we removed sediment from the bottom of the aquarium.

And I tried to collect the cream with a large disposable syringe named Janet, its volume is 150-200 ml. What is most interesting, I kept his nose on top of the cream surface, slowly "sucking" an inch ... As a result, a half-liter jar of supposedly cream is full, but the layer still remains in the bottle .... Then it dawned on me that the milk and cream were also "sucked in" there ... It didn't work out, in short! But to lower the hose to the bottom ... (smiley, scratching the back of the head) I didn't even realize it!
In general, we will look for such a mug!
Romchka, thanks again for a lot of useful information!

I tried to collect with a hose, and a ladle - in all cases, it is impossible to completely collect the cream, the ladle, like a spoon, mixes the cream, I had to put up with.In addition, the hose cannot be completely washed,: pardon: must be thrown away.
I think a mug is also not the best solution - after all, it is not 3 liters in capacity ...

Read, read ... on all topics about cream collection

I have two options:
- I collect from the jar with a flat black spoon, as far as possible to collect - it is impossible to collect everything!
- I boil the milk as it is with cream, it turns out a thick foam, which solidifies. I collect the foam, it collects very well and completely in a separate cup. And then I add the froths to strong tea or coffee - well, it turns out very tasty !!!! especially without sugar

It is very convenient to collect cream with an ice cream spoon, which resembles a scoop (a pouring spoon for soup). Approximately this

Only my spoon handle (held) is slightly more curved in relation to the scoop. Well, it seems convenient to anyone. You can bend it slightly or, conversely, straighten it ... Gently scoop the cream from the surface of the milk with the edge of a spoon, without immersing it completely, so as not to mix the milk and cream. I shoot until it becomes clear that a thin film of cream remains and the milk "shines through". And I also carefully scoop out the walls of the jar, since there is still cream there, even if it is no longer on the very surface of the milk.

Girls, in Ukraine in Velmarket special cans of stainless steel for 3.5 liters with a tap at the bottom were sold, it is very convenient to remove cream from milk. You pour milk into it, after an hour you open the tap, the milk flows down the cream on the milk from above, as soon as the cream went the tap closed: both skim milk and cream for ice cream
