and the spatula (which replaces the dough) is tedious to put on or without it? I'm sorry for the stupid question, but my bread maker is only 2 days old .. I'm planning to make jam according to your recipe. but I just can't decide on this mixer ... remove or leave? Tell me please

Ussuro4ka When boiling jam, you do not need to drag out the spatula, since during the cooking process it interferes with it for you
If anything, ask.

eprst! and I bought this wonderful miracle only 2 days ago ... you can go crazy which technique is smart
and if I literally add a glass of honeysuckle to the cherry, how do you think it will be delicious? otherwise it's worth neither 2 nor 1.5 ... neither eat nor make your own jam from it ..
DJ
Unfortunately, I don't know what flavor combination it is, but I think it won't be bad. Try to cook this and that
Ussuro4ka
2 options are long .. I need to cook before my husband arrives, to report on the benefits of my multi-cook (I extorted for 2 weeks), so I'll probably try your proven option better

Ussuro4ka I read you asked in another thread for "Zhelfix", I hope you have pectin? It's just that the cherry itself has no gelling properties, for this we add pectin. I really want you to succeed.
If you do not have pectin, you can put currants in its place, for example 50/50, it has a very gelling property. Only the currants need to be grated in a juicer so that there are no seeds.
In any case, if there is neither one nor the other, just keep in mind that the jam may turn out to be watery, but this will not affect the taste in any way

and me watery just right. we don't roll it up, and my husband makes hot fruit drinks from jam and drinks instead of coffee and tea. that's why I was not interested in pectin. and I will buy "Zhelfix" and will cook jam with carrots already thick for myself.
by the way, the jam is already being cooked .. though it still doesn't smell like anything

You will not hear a pronounced smell, a light aroma will be when the jam comes to the end of cooking.
Ussuro4ka
I will share, of course, only I cooked all the preserves in a saucepan before.
Do I need to create a new theme with my jams or is there a common one?

my bee works ... it interferes without stopping))) and I jump around her in delight and remember you with a kind word)

Ussuro4ka jam recipes can be created in the section Home cellar | Fruit and berry preparations
I think that here you can write recipes for fruit drinks

I report - the jam (for a known reason, it turned out that jam, and not jam) was cooked. very tasty and troublesome. husband liked it - approved
but at the expense of fruit drink .. I cooked "in a normal way", but my husband did not approve. He calls me fruit juice, self-diluted with boiling water, jam. usually 3 tsp. lodges. in a glass of boiling water. delicious

Ussuro4ka I am very glad that you and your husband liked it.
For the fruit drink I understood how it looks like a hot compote

Girls, respond, who makes jam in Moulinex 5004? I cooked for the first time yesterday. At the beginning, she interfered with a little time, and the rest of the time was silence. I looked into the stove while cooking, there was a little boiling around the edges of the bucket and that's it. And the middle stood in silence. Although I added confiture, the jam is liquid, the cherry is ground all over. And it tastes like they just mixed the berry with sugar. Very different from the standard jam. Somehow I'm not happy with this jam. The question is: How does the jam boil in your ovens?

I have both stoves identical to yours, I haven’t tried to cook in the new jam, but in the “elder”, which 5002 I have digested so much jam / jams / confiture that it’s scary to remember ... but I can’t remember one of them, which would did not like it, everything is as one !!! You have described everything correctly, the process of making jam in our mulks is exactly how it proceeds. The preservation of berries in jam directly depends on their ripeness, the more ripe the berry, the more it will "pat" when mixed. About confiture ... at what stage did you add it? If right away with the rest of the ingredients, then the reason is clear ... If I am not mistaken, then it is not recommended to boil the confiture like "Zhelfix" for a long time, right? I use "Zhelfix", and so when cooking jam in HP, I do the following: at the end of the Jam program, I again fall asleep in a bucket with ready-made Jellix jam and start the program again, wait for the HP to mix everything, again boiling will begin and turn off after 3 minutes. Although now I remember, I fell asleep "Zhelfix" at once with the rest of the ingredients, and nothing happened. And I also really like to cook jam two cycles in a row, then it turns out "real" !!!

P.S.Elena63, and did you calculate the dose of confiture correctly? Maybe you should have just added more of it?
Elena63
Thank you. I'll try to cook something else.

Yes, not at all! And yet, somehow try to cook the jam - two cooking cycles in a row, well, sooo "real", honestly!

Yesterday I cooked my first jam in KHP. It's a pity that there was no "thickener" - only ripe cherries and sugar. The result is "cherries in syrup". Thought what to do? Found a way out! I baked a cake, mixed some of the syrup with a spoonful of vodka and soaked the pastries. It turned out so delicious that it was impossible to tear off the ears!

Oca have already opened the jam season! Congratulations! Thank you for reminding me, you need to make it yourself for tea
Glad you liked!

Yeah, I opened it. I wanted to cook cherries back in May, but they dissuaded me, they said that it would turn out nasty Tomorrow I will cook cherry again, and after 2-3 days - raspberry. It is cheaper to buy strawberry jam at 90r / kg (and the price of 1 kg of fresh berries is 130-170 rubles).

I don’t know, everyone has one answer: “They don’t do that, it’s not accepted!” But why? With pleasure I eat winter preparations - sweet cherries (of an unknown variety) in compote / syrup This year, due to the rains, a lot of sweet cherries have rotted right on the branches, and the wormy remains were eaten like this ...

I confirm the recipe 100%. I brew several jars every year. When cooking, I really put lemon slices, but my grandmother put more vanillin. But we now come across sweet and fragrant cherries, so I put a lemon in the jam. My men even like to have bones. They say that when you suck on a bone (I apologize for the details), you get a high from it. Well, my guys are perverts, they even love dogwood so much.
