Christmas blackberry jelly

Ingredients

Blackberry 1 kg
Strong red wine 1/2 tbsp.
4 cloves
Cinnamon 1/2 pinch
Lemon or orange peel 1 slice
Jelly sugar 500 g

Cooking method

  • 1.Sort out the blackberry, pour 250 ml. water, bring to a boil and cook for 3-4 minutes until the berries give juice.
  • Leave the blackberry on a sieve to glass the liquid.
  • You can get blackberry juice in a steam juicer.
  • Measure out 720 ml. juice, if not enough to the required volume, add water.
  • 2.Boil red wine with cloves and citrus peels for several minutes in a large saucepan. Combine with blackberry juice, sugar and mix well. Bring to a boil and cook for at least 3 minutes.
  • 3.Remove the cloves and citrus peels and test for solidification.
  • 4.Arrange the jelly in hot jars and close tightly.
