Ingredients

dough:
375 gr flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
75 g sugar
1 bag of vanilla sugar
1 egg
50 ml milk
175 gr soft butter or margarine
curd filling:
2 egg whites
50 gr butter
750 gr of cottage cheese
150 sugar
2 egg yolks
a pinch of salt
zest of half a lemon
1 sachet
poppy filling:
250 g ready-made poppy filling
1 tablespoon of liquid honey
1 egg

Cooking method

  • on a mold with a diameter of 28-30 cm or on a baking sheet measuring 40x30 cm.
  • dough:
  • Mix the flour with baking powder, add the rest of the ingredients and knead into a soft dough. Roll out two-thirds of the dough on baking paper and place the dough together with the paper in a mold or on a baking sheet.
  • curd filling:
  • Melt the butter and cool slightly. Beat the whites into a stable foam. Mix cottage cheese with sugar, yolks, zest, salt, powder from a bag. Stir in whipped egg whites gently.
  • Spread the filling evenly on the dough.
  • poppy filling:
  • Mix the poppy seed filling with honey and egg and spread evenly on the curd filling.
  • Roll out the remaining third of the dough into thin flagella and place on top of the poppy filling with a wire rack.
  • bakery products:
  • Top-bottom 180 ° in a preheated oven
  • Convection mode 160 ° without preheating
  • Gas 2-3 level without preheating
  • Baking time - about 50 minutes
  • frosting
  • 1 tablespoon of apricot jam
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Mix the jam with water, heat and grease the finished hot cake.
