I also wanted this particular coffee maker at one time.
But recently the "idiot's dream" came true and my husband gave me
Saeco really is the best coffee machine for home use (read a lot of information about Saeco and Jura).
I've been testing mine for about 3 months and there were impulses to hand it over for repair, but it magically repaired itself. They have done too many bells and whistles. So simplicity in this case is not "-".
The only thing that I can summarize from what I have read is that for such a coffee maker you need a millstone coffee grinder. Well, you also need to "fill your hand". And you also need the "right" grain. Only then will you get that very espresso.
So if finances allow, it is better to buy the simplest Saeco coffee machine. Although the owners of carob coffee makers would have showered me with rotten tomatoes for such a statement. They believe that a fully automated process is for people who know nothing about coffee.

Who has a coffee machine, please describe briefly the preparation process ... pour coffee beans ... and then she does everything herself? just substitute a mug and that's it, can I drink coffee? or the ground coffee still needs to be shifted, tamped and so on ... in general, I have a question - does it make sense to take a coffee machine or will everything be the same in two independent devices - a coffee grinder and a coffee maker?

Who has a coffee machine, please describe briefly the preparation process ... pour coffee beans ... and then she does everything herself? just substitute a mug and that's it, can I drink coffee? or the ground coffee still needs to be shifted, tamped and so on ... in general, I have a question - does it make sense to take a coffee machine or will everything be the same in two independent devices - a coffee grinder and a coffee maker?

It all depends on your preferences. Actress but a lot depends on the device, and on the grinding of coffee, and on its type ... so it’s impossible to say for sure: which is better, which is worse! And in Turks they cook a burda, and in coffee machines ... It depends on what you put there ...
It makes sense to take a coffee machine only in one case: if you have a free piece of one and a half (or maybe more) Bucks, you really fill a fairly voluminous tank with water (2-5 liters), pour coffee beans (500g) into the hopper AND EVERYTHING. The machine will sweep ONLY ONE PORTION of coffee beans, tamp it, fill a cup with 15 bar steam pressure, throw the compressed "tablet" of used powder into the hopper and mark on the portion counter how many cups have been prepared. Your task is to throw out the filled waste bin from time to time, add water to the tank. Many coffee machines have a built-in water filter; it also needs to be looked after or changed (depending on which model and design).
An alternative is buying a coffee maker. The same 15 bar (less, don't buy, the quality of the drink drops sharply!), A water tank. There is no filter. Serving counter too. the coffee strength regulator is. rather, a publicity stunt ... How much powder you tamp into a horn, this will be the strength As for coffee itself, as a raw material for preparing a drink. You can buy it already ground, in a vacuum package. You can grind it yourself, but do not expect to do it on a simple Vitek coffee grinder. Melet it is not smaller than semolina, from such a grinding coffee will be brewed only in a Turk. In a coffee maker, it will be nonsense. so you have to buy a MILLING coffee grinder (Brown, for example) and it will cost at least a thousand rubles. There is a regulator for the degree of grinding, experimentally set the value you need.
There is also a third option - to buy freshly ground coffee in specialty tea and coffee shops. Well, or, of course, buy it in the grains, and grind it at home. The quality of the drink is much higher - apparently the quality of the beans is better
In conclusion, I would like to add that the magazine "Consumer.Household appliances "(summer issue) a good review and comparative analysis of coffee machines. And very interesting models of BUILT-IN coffee makers and coffee machines. They look stylish ...
zvezda
Today they brought me just such a machine .. bSST-nW5dIs & NR = 1
but it doesn’t work ..... HORROR !!
Tanyusha
zvezda, why didn't you want to buy a coffee machine from a company that specializes in coffee machines?
zvezda
You mean Jura ??? or Haji ?? They all have a submersible cappuccino maker, and which model they like, either the price scales or the Vidocq is not for home. Before that I had Delongey (sorry, I am writing in Russian) and also broke down and cannot be restored ...
Tanyusha
There is also Saeco, Spidem, they are budget machines and the reviews on them are not bad, and Siemens, Krupp, Bosch, Delongy have coffee machines as a side production, so there are a lot of complaints about the machines of these companies.
Alexandra
If you just bought it, it's not too late to return or exchange

Yes!!! They will exchange on Sunday, but I ruined my nerves ... they really apologized terribly ...
Alexandra
I can't see the photo, so I don't know what kind of car I'm talking about.
But judging by Tanya's question, it is not a specialized company.

Therefore, I want to ask whether they will exchange for the same model or perhaps for something else?
zvezda
You can watch Siemens Q7 76009 / I don’t want another one .... The pressure of 19 barr is very comfortable here, this is not found in any other model !!!
Alexandra
The main desire! If you want, it means you need to change and master
zvezda
Thanks Alexandra!!! I hope that everything will go without problems (exchange), I am partly to blame, I wanted to urgently, and this was the last model probably from the showcase, but to master ... this is my third car, so it will quickly pass, and on this practiced ...
Nat_ka
How are you doing there? Have they taken away?
I just fell in love with the video about the coffee machine. But I have both a coffee grinder and a coffee maker. In general, when I watched the video, I thought that I was tired of the constant harvesting of ground coffee, which invariably pours out when I tamp. Then another washing of the "cappuccinator", well, just horror. But on the other hand, your coffee machine does not wash itself either ... there are still tubes with milk that need to be washed somehow. Very interesting, how is she in service?

zvezda
They brought the second one .... also does not work, they will change on Wednesday !!!. And this machine washes itself, there is a function for washing the milk system ...
nut
Zvezda, I'm looking forward to the result, because I'm just delirious: -X a coffee machine, so that it gives me coffee at my request and every time it is different, and so that the unit is not very bulky and moderately expensive Girls educate us about firms that specialize on coffee machines

In my opinion - 2 times a bummer is already a trend. I wouldn't try fate. I have had a Saeco Primea Cappuccino Ring automatic espresso machine at home for 3.5 years. He makes 8-10 servings of any COFFEE per day. There were no complaints or appeals to the service at the LLC. It is necessary to take even though more expensive from specialized manufacturers.
zvezda
Expensive Nut!!! Before this I had a Delonghi ESAM 6600 Esclusivo for 1.5 years and it broke down and cannot be repaired, although this company has very good reviews. In what price range do you want a car ?? 7I can pick up a model ....
Alexander Svet1 thanks for the hint .... I also stopped at about the same model, only touch-sensitive and I need a built-in cappuccino maker. Look at this model .... how do you like it ???

So it's the same, only with a built-in cappuccino maker and the ability to make 2 cappuccino at the same time ...
Coffee machine
this is Saeco Primea Touch Plus
Kosharik
I have a Saeco Primea Touch Plus. The second in a row. The first is unsuccessful. Was repaired 4 times a year.As a result, having pressed on Proxima (this is the official distributor), the car was replaced with a new one. On a new one - 1 repair per year. The car is flawed in principle. There are several nuances that the service center cannot fix.
If you decide to take a car from this line, take the simplest one. There is absolutely nothing to overpay for the Saeco Primea Touch Plus. Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of the coffee. Of course, this is not what they do in good (!) Coffee shops, but you still need to learn how to use the horn. We must pay tribute to the Proxima service center - it works for 5+.
Alternatively (in the coffee machine market) check out the Jura, but overall they are slightly more expensive than the Saeco. And there are several design features (sellers issue them as an advantage, however, outside the warranty repair, these advantages will cost a pretty penny)
zvezda
Well, I am now in complete confusion ..... just already exactly tuned in to this .... I don't know what to do ???? And for what reason did you have it under repair ???
Kosharik
Any of the machines has several versions (releases). Naturally, this is not announced anywhere. This I have already comprehended empirically. My car is 2 or 3 (now, in my opinion, 4 or 5). Of course, when releasing new releases, all "jambs" are taken into account. However, outwardly, the latest car is made worse than the previous one. Replacement of some external parts with "cheaper" ones is visible.
What I had (from large ones, I don't remember everything):
1. Replacing the control board (brains). The car froze.
2. Replacing the pump (the pressure of the incoming milk was bad)
3. Problem (arises after 6-9 months) with closing the milk drawer. The service center has already modified a certain seal itself. On both machines.
4. The biggest problem (which cannot be eliminated by the service): the machine has problems with resistance to the nuances of the network (electrical). On the test (in the service center) - everything is ok. Of course, they are powered by all sorts of UPS, etc., and are located on the territory of some factory. In a domestic environment - the car is malfunctioning. At the same time, we live in a house that has passed the cap. repair, husband - electrician and computer technician.
This problem is expressed in the periodic dropping of coffee during preparation, writes that there are no coffee beans in the hopper. Everything would be fine - but the grain is a pity.
5. When buying a car, the settings are "averaged". Not everything suits you. The service center "documents" the factory settings for the owner's personal taste preferences.
6. There is a joint in the car, which was set by the manufacturer. When choosing strong coffee, the volume of beans is not designed for the brewing unit. The machine works with difficulty, for wear and tear. There is no way to fix it.
The same is with the wheel in the center of the car. I will not be able to accurately describe its functionality. This is closer to the fineness of the grind. But this wheel must also be in the extreme left position (minimum). You cannot put on the maximum - again the car is working out.
7. The first machines had problems with the quality of the milk being whipped (there was no froth). The cappuccino maker has been replaced with a new version. The second car is already with a new one - there are no problems here. They say that now it has been improved.
Of the advantages of Saeco: they have a weak infusion unit (plastic), a service life of 5000 cups. But the new one costs about 3000r (maybe a little more expensive now). With a car cost of 70,000 thousand, this is an insignificant loss.
2 years warranty - I think all the "shoals" will come out.
Good service center (this is the "daughter" of the representative office). There are problems with s / h now, but I think everyone has it. The average time spent by the car in the service is 3 working days (if there are no problems with spare parts). Skillful masters with whom you can communicate personally !!! I came and sat with the master, looking out for jambs.
Adequate representation.
For comparison, the Philips kettle was repaired for the first time in 30 days. Brought home - it turned out that the service broke something else. Next time - 40 days. I had the honor to communicate with the representative office (on another issue). Complete indifference and rudeness. With Bosch / Siemens - the same nonsense.
So my opinion is - take a Saeco can with a Milk Island dairy block (it usually comes free). Save 35 thousand. The brewing unit is the same everywhere. But Boshi, Borki and others like him don’t write (IMHO). Alternatively - Nespresso. But this is the girls will talk about the pros and cons
zvezda
Thank you very much for the detailed answer !!! I don't drink strong coffee at all, so I don't have to worry about this point, for me the main thing is cappuccino. But I will hope that it is still better than the rest of the models. Or maybe you recommend a different model?
Alexander Svet1
Kosharik
Well, I'm shocked by the adventures of your car. Here is my apparatus -
Coffee machine
She plows like a bad one. This is the very first model in this series. I have never been to the service. When choosing strong coffee, the machine works with difficulty - this is natural and normal. The wheel in the center is the Saeco Brewing System (SBS), which allows you to adjust the pressure in the coffee maker without additional readjustments, thereby changing the strength of the coffee in accordance with your mood. By turning the knob, you control the taste and intensity of the coffee. SBS creates user-controlled pressure throughout the entire coffee brewing cycle, which creates an especially thick and dense foam (crema), as well as a rich aroma and aftertaste. And we have this regulator in the extreme right position from the moment of purchase. Yes, the machine works a little tighter but within reason. Although I am used to dancing with a tambourine around the milk block, I agree with you 100% about the Milk Island milk block. Two days ago, the lid of the container lid for beans broke. And I never regretted buying a single day.
nut
And I look forward to, the brains are already melting, which one to take How many cars. so many opinions, some like one thing, others another. In short, Zvezda, I'm waiting for your purchase and reviews, I see that the tastes coincide - I don't drink strong coffee either, but I love it with milk foam
Alexander Svet1
Let me make one remark
Regardless of which model of the car, whether -Saeco ODEA GIRO, whether Saeco TALEA RING, or Saeco TALEA TOUCH (all have a similar design): flowers: regardless of their price, the COFFEE at the output will be the same as the working unit for all universal and cooking algorithm too. Everything else is convenient passing FENICHKI for which you have to pay.
Kosharik
I went to the Saeco website. The models have spawned.
SBS is not a pressure change (pressure constant). This is the adjustment of the strength by changing the rate of water supply in the brew unit.
The machine works at maximum values. But this is fraught with rapid wear of the mechanisms.
My lid, too, is about to order me to live a long time.

Alexander Svet1
Kosharik
Isn't the rate of water supply regulated in a closed volume by changing the pressure?
Or maybe I didn't understand something
Zest
I have a Saeco Odea Go.

A simple coffee machine. But ... when I get up awake, I can press the button and go on to wash, and then get a cup of coffee.
And good ... I have not drunk for a long time, even since my last stay in Germany.
Kosharik
Alexander Svet1, I know for sure that the pressure is standard. And the fact that the cream is getting better is a fact. In the extreme right position, the coffee may not flow at all. And everyone somehow hums when I ask what it regulates and how.
Generally, cream is best when ground fine. But the car suffers. This grind can be adjusted by placing it deep into the grain tank. Regulated once. Under control. It is better not to go there (although the operation does not prohibit this). As the master explained to me, it was done through one place. Millstones can fly off, or you can turn it idle.
About Nespresso reviews are generally good (those for home use). Even Saeko's sellers don't scold them (by definition, they can't praise them :)).
Tanyusha
So Nespresso produces only capsule machines, and personally I do not like coffee from capsules at all.
zvezda
Reporting .....
I went to the store myself and in my presence they opened and tested it. Upon arrival home, they played with her all evening. To say what I like ..... is to say nothing !!! The coffee is just excellent !!! Foam ..... no words at all !!! My ex-Prima Donna DeLongey is no comparison. There are a lot of different settings options. Cleanliness .... treb rinse after each preparation of a milk drink ..... but it's very simple, just press the button and that's it. How will she behave further ...I will hope for the best. While I'm delighted !!!
Thank you all for your participation and experience. !!!!
Nut !!!Of course, I would advise you this .... really liked it !!! Tell me the pricing policy, I'll pick it up !!!
nut
Zvezda so which one did you take and how much money does it cost?
Alexander Light1
Kosharik
Today in the service "Coffee House" we have changed the LATCH of the container lid for beans without any problems - $ 1.2. And there, the SBS principle was also explained, the flow area in the dispensing head simply changes. You were right - accept my apologies.

Asterisk so what kind of car did you buy - I'm waiting, I'm waiting, but there is no answer
In general, I took the Saeco Primea Cappuccino Touch Plus, but again broke off ..... I did not finish it myself and gave it without Plus ... in general, I understand again, but brews coffee perfectly and cappuccino too !!!! It costs 56,000.
Kosharik
Alexander Svet1, what are you talking about !!!
About the retainer - a good price, we are still under warranty, I think we need to go and beg (so as not to carry the car)
zvezda, if Plus was announced - ask. By the way, look at the year the car was produced!
Is the machine from Proxima? (must be marked)
Alexander Light1
Kosharik
Pay attention to the V-spring when installing the retainer. The hole in the spring mates with the "piptic" on the retainer. And when you insert it, tilt the car forward

Thank you Zvezdochka, I put my eyes on her, it remains only to persuade my own

Yes, from Proxima. Where can I see the year of issue?
Kosharik
Alexander Svet1, thanks for the advice !!!
zvezda, forgive me, here, I advised you, but I don't remember where to look.
It seems to be on the box. Somehow coded, but the year is clear. And the new machines also have new cappuccinatores, but I'm afraid I won't be able to explain what's fundamentally different there.
By the way, what is the difference between Saeco Primea Cappuccino Touch Plus and Saeco Primea Cappuccino? Saeco's website says that Saeco Primea Cappuccino has one boiler and monochrome display (you might think that the brownish display in Saeco Primea Cappuccino Touch Plus is a "breakthrough"). When I bought (2 years ago) there were only Saeco Primea Cappuccino Touch Plus, only advanced users, smart sellers, and service knew about the difference in versions. Now there is another version 2, with absolutely far-fetched advantages.
I bought mine here: 🔗, very worthy guys, call them, they should definitely advise you sensibly.
zvezda
I was silent for so long ... I just didn't have the strength to even think about it !!! After all, my last one ran in the cappuccino maker, milk was leaking. I re-ordered again and now they brought it and I tested it for 10 days, so as not to write in advance. In general, while I'm delighted !!! I listened to all your advice (THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!!!) and took this one
zvezda
I didn't quite understand about the SBS system ... when it is in the right position, because the volume of water increases?!?! Who has a similar one ... explain how for a teapot, I just got used to automatic machines and cannot adapt in any way
natasic2466
Does anyone have such a coffee machine, I wonder? Very attractive price: 13000 rubles

Saeco spidem trevi chiara

Very good reviews about it from people who use it !!! It is considered a professional coffee machine.

zvezda thanks for the information Now I will want it with a vengeance

tanya1962, thanks, for me it's a little expensive, probably I'll buy a carob
