Can you replace 15 grams of fresh yeast with dry yeast? If so, how many grams of yeast should you add?
Qween
Ironchik , I think 1.5 tsp. dry yeast will be enough
Yummy
Can you replace curdled milk with something? or haven't you tried it? ... we don't really like this product in the family, that's why we don't have it at home ...

and more ... I find it difficult to choose a mode for this test in Panasonic 255 ...
Qween
Yummy , sorry to answer late.

Sour milk can be replaced with whey or sour cream with water.
And select the mode "Dough" in the "Main program".

And I have pies with plums, help yourself !!!
Yeast dough for pies
Baked according to my mother's old recipe, but the dough is very similar to the dough Qween.
Qween, thanks for the reminder of childhood !!!
kilaty
QWEEN, thanks for the recipe. Made with fresh whey. Pies made from this dough are surprisingly tender and fluffy. In general, I like semi-lean dough for baking more and your dough did not disappoint - it blew out big bubbles when it was cut and grew before our eyes.

I followed the kolobok to add something in case of need, but everything was calculated perfectly. I brought the dough into my favorite recipes.

Qween We really liked this dough, so we vary and today were just buns from it. For children, I spread the cut buns with butter and apricot jam.
It's a pity in St. Petersburg there is no normal bacon as it was in Ukraine, otherwise I would have done with cracklings like yours.

Can you please tell me if flour is counted in grams, will it be 480g? And do you need 125ml of oil? Which one is better to use?
I want to make dough pies according to your recipe, but these questions have arisen
kilaty
Lillay I beg your pardon for getting in and answering instead Qween I also counted for myself in grams: flour is needed - 450 gr., sunflower oil - 120-125 gr. I did it with refined sunflower and unrefined, the taste is unrefined for an amateur, it is felt in ready-made pies, I also combined with the amount of oil, added 90 gr. also not bad, less fatty, but it all depends on the filling.

Thanks for the clarification! I'm going to make sweet pies (with cherries - I love those!). I'm looking for the dough that is most suitable for these purposes, because the cherry is capricious - all the time it strives to escape from the pies!
I will also try this dough recipe, taking into account your recommendations.

whimsical cherry - all the time strives to escape from the pies!

It's not about the dough, it's about the filling. Strain the juice thoroughly from the cherries, add a little starch, mix and your cherry will not run away anywhere.

Qween!
Thank you for the delicious pie dough recipe!
I took into account all the recommendations given to me here, and made pies with cherries from the dough according to your recipe. They were eaten in the evening !!! There has never been such a speed of eating! I will bake some more!
Qween
lillay , I'm glad
To your health!

Qween! thank you very much for the dough recipe!
The dough is simply amazingly tasty. I have never eaten such delicious pies.
Today I made pies with cabbage according to your recipe, so the family instantly broke them up and demanded more for tomorrow
This will now be my all-time favorite yeast dough recipe.
Hruni4ka
I tried to make this dough today! EXCELLENT !! and loaded a double rate into the oven, mixed everything perfectly! plastic dough, easy to work with! I can't put pictures of pies .. there is no fotik, unfortunately, the recipe is now my favorite))) thanks to the author!

Qween!
Thank you for the dough recipe! The dough turned out great, the cake is awesomely tasty.

Qween ! Thank you very much for the delicious yeast dough! I'm not friends with yeast dough, but it turned out right away, and the son said that the pies are tastier than all those that I had baked before and said to bake only such (there is no photo, the filling leaked out almost, but the son said that it was even tastier, sweet from all sides)

Oween! I made pies today, but instead of whey-yogurt from a multicooker 1 tbsp (200g), butter 90g. When kneading, the dough was very thick, I added water. Cabbage stuffing with mushrooms. The children said it was delicious, but I expected more. I want to try again. The mistake is that you need a glass of 250g and the yogurt will not work? Or something else? I'm not very friendly with yeast dough, but I really liked the recipe.
Qween
strawberryit is possible that the yogurt was very thick. Although, if I make with curdled milk, then I do not dilute it with water, although it is thick. I use a glass of 250 ml, and oil, respectively, 125 ml. Feel free to make the dough thick enough for you to work with. The softer the dough, the more fluffy the pies are. But, if it is very soft, then the pies should be placed close to each other so that they do not float in width, but grow up.

Thank you! They did not grow in width or height. The dough was soft the next day. I also sin for torment. It is written in the highest grade, but it is kind of gray. Manufactured. Kostroma. I'll try with another one.
Qween
You are welcome !
I think it will turn out great next time.

I read good reviews on your test and wanted to try it myself. Tell me. and yogurt can be replaced with yogurt? And another question, is it necessary to put the pies after taking out the dough from the KhP for proofing, or form the pies on a baking sheet and immediately into the hot oven? Sorry for the stupid question, I'm just new to yeast dough.
Qween
Ne_lipa, of course, you can and kefir.

Is it necessary to put the pies on a proofer after they got the dough out of the HP, or to form the pies on a baking sheet and immediately into the hot oven?

After the end of kneading, the dough should come up once ~ 1 hour. Then you can make pies, which must also stand and distance before baking. And then you have to bake.
Ne_lipa
Thank you so much for your prompt reply! In the coming days, I want to finally find the time and bake pies
Olga78
Qween, yesterday I baked apple pies and sausages in the dough from this dough of yours. I liked everything very much. It seemed to me that this dough is more suitable for savory baked goods (or add a little more sugar to the dough). As a result, in the evening I had to make a dough for 2 servings - it turned out sausages in the dough and pies with potatoes. The dough is very soft, the pies are tender. The second time I put in less oil. Thanks for the recipe, I will do it again and again!
Qween
Olga78, to your health!
Of course, you can add sugar if you want.
mowgli
QWEEN !!!
The dough is just very great !!! I baked pies on the top, so they increased 3 times as if I had not seen this for a long time !!! bubbled, soft, soft dough. I cannot convey my delight !!!!
Qween
mowgli, to your health!
So happy when baking is successful.

QWEEN, the dough is great. Only I started the dough mode on the bread maker and forgot to take out the dough after the first proofing, it remained there for a full cycle. Therefore, after the end of the program, I decided to make fried pies. Blind and fry immediately. I made a double portion of the dough. So I didn't even have time to take a picture. Awesome pies turned out))). I have three men at home, so they ate everything at once. Thanks for the recipe !!!!!!!

I want to try your recipe, but I'm new to working with the dough and I also have cotton recently. What is whey and can it be replaced with kefir?

Of course, you can make a dough with kefir. And whey is a by-product of milk processing, for example, after making cottage cheese. I prefer serum that has not been heated. I do not cook on the one that was heated, because I think that the dough on it comes out tough, and quickly turns stale. The taste and color ... as they say.

Qween, Anya
Yesterday I made pastries according to your recipes. from the ruble dough is not sweet. and from this - with thick jam. The pies came out wonderful, the dough is so soft and obedient (though I replaced the butter with margarine). squeaking at hand.
thanks for the recipe!

Girls, the question of an amateur, is it possible to bake a cake in a silicone mold? Or it will not be baked, I have one in the shape of a flower?
KatRin
Girls, I'm not an expert on yeast dough. Today I baked pies with cottage cheese from this dough, the kids can't have eggs, they liked that the recipe was without cottage cheese. The dough was kneaded on the program for 1.5 hours. But the dough didn't rise much. Although delicious. Where is the mistake?
Qween
Elenka
Helen, very ruddy, delicious pies turned out. To your health.

mowgli, yes, yeast dough can be baked in a silicone mold. Everything will bake perfectly.

KatRin, I think the yeast failed. Replace them next time.
KatRin
Qween, I saf-Moment poured 1.5 spoons. Maybe a little. And after 1.5 hours in the bread maker do you still have to wait or just sculpt pies?
Qween

Immediately sculpt pies.

Put enough yeast. If the dough fits well in the bucket of the bread machine, then when you stick the pies, then let them stand longer before baking. Let it rise 3 times, and then you can put it in the oven.

If the dough in the bucket of the bread machine also did not rise very well, then it was definitely the yeast that failed.
KatRin
Qween , Thank you. I use Saf-moment yeast, I will try others, although the bread is normally baked with them. The bread machine did not fit very well in the bucket, but the pies are tasty and ruddy

Tobto, store serum, in bags, sterilized, doesn't fit? I am looking for a dough recipe for pies, so that it does not get stale ... I always take this serum ...
And what to replace? All the shops are sterilized.

Many thanks from our whole family for a wonderful recipe !!!! The dough is extraordinary !!! She did it on fermented baked milk instead of growing. butter added butter. Soft, tender dough, finely porous in section, very obedient, literally the pies themselves are molded !!! For the first time in my life I coped with yeast dough, I never really succeeded - either the yeast will fail, then I will overdo it with flour. Thank you! Merry Christmas!

Fillings: cabbage, fried onions, boiled egg and lightly salted green onions with boiled egg

And if it's fresh yeast, what is the best way - in crumbs to the bottom or diluted first in liquid? I have a Panasonic 2501.
Rarerka
Sasha, dilute them in the prescribed amount of liquid and use the method of bookmarking products for your HP (dry-liquid or liquid-dry)
When using fresh yeast, a delayed start is not used, the rest, as with dry
| Alexandra |
This means - dilute the yogurt in a glass and flour on top, but then they will be mixed with butter poured on top before mixing with flour?
Rarerka
I don't see any problems in this
This method also takes place. Try

It is possible to do the first stage of mixing without contact with oil, and then add oil

More ways, they all work. The end result also has amateurs and opponents. The taste and color ... (c)
| Alexandra |
Exactly - the oil just later, and I was a brake - I couldn't guess myself, thanks!
Rarerka
I advise you to look at the dough in the recipe Scarecrow "pies with cabbage"
there oil is introduced later
there are recommendations
