boiling water 600 g
compressed yeast 50 g or 1 sachet dry
flour 900 g
sunflower oil 2 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • The most pancakes are custard. I share with you my grandmother's recipe.
  • Mix 1 liter of water, yeast, flour, and sugar and put in a warm place.
  • When the dough rises twice, pour boiling water over it, stirring quickly. A stream of boiling water should be thin so as not to burn the yeast. Beat intensively, happy owners of Kenwoods and other kitchen angels! The consistency of the dough should resemble store sour cream. We add salt and oil, and after 20 minutes you can bake. Pancakes are obtained with sourness, the taste is very special, not like the taste of ordinary pancakes. It's even easier than it sounds. In addition, the recipe is exclusively anti-crisis - the cost of such a portion is about 15 rubles

I baked "Granny's pancakes, custard" today.
The recipe has not deviated an inch, water, fresh pressed yeast 50 grams, flour, salt, sugar, butter.
The whole family liked the pancakes very much, there was no sourness in the pancakes at all, the daughter said that she resembled fresh milk, then added: - as if with the taste of semolina; my husband could not determine, he just said that it was very tasty and airy. And the old mother was very pleased, she said: - very very tasty, daughter, and when she found out that there was not a single egg in the dough, she admired even more - eggs are contraindicated for her. To me, the pancakes tasted like my favorite Italian bread; now I will bake just such pancakes. What amazed me was that the dough was so airy and bubbly, it seemed to me that I was pouring not the dough into the pan, but a scoop of airy foam, even the last drop of the dough was abundantly bubbly! The dough turned out to be lumpy, not boiled, but I kneaded it not even with a blender, but with a whisk, I agree with you, Gulshat, that it is better to mix with Kenwood. The taste is unusual, I will also try to bake your pancakes, as your grandmother baked them without Kenwood!

The children, however, liked the kefir with eggs more, but it is understandable - there is so much muffin there, and even thin ones. And these are great for me. They are not thick, but not thin either, tasty, perforated. The dough is really like foam.
