But everything is fixable in a saucepan. Moreover, I boiled the potatoes in the broth separately, and grated them into the frozen version.

Today I used frozen borscht preparation. I poured a glass of water into a saucepan, put a frozen semi-finished product (about 300 ml by volume) in it, frozen raw meatballs. After boiling over low heat, simmered for 5 minutes and turned it off. The color is pleasant, the taste is quite satisfying with sour cream and herbs. Clean hands!

And I made a preparation for borscht from onions, carrots and beets. I decided not to do the cabbage part. I don't like cabbage from the freezer. Boiling water and throwing a handful of cabbage into it is not a problem for me. But I stewed the vegetables separately and froze them. The cooking time for borscht will be reduced by 2 times. Not until 5 minutes, of course, but very quickly - the cooking time for cabbage and that's it.
