    According to the recipe that I took from the newspaper many years ago, the fish needs to be stewed in the oven for about 2 hours. But in the oven version, there are many layers. I got 3 layers of fish and 4 layers of vegetables in a cast iron pan. There is only one layer of salmon and two vegetables in the "Master Pilaf". I think it makes it faster. Although the finished dish tastes the same.
