Stewed cabbage

Stewed cabbage

Ingredients

White cabbage 700 g
Onion 1 large head
Carrot medium pcs.
Sweet pepper 1 PC.
A tomato 1 PC.
Bay leaf 2 pcs.
Peppercorns 7-8 pcs.
Vegetable oil 50 ml
Salt taste

Cooking method

  • Cut all products in advance. Switch on \ "Master-pilaf \" at the beginning of frying, that is, put the regulator in the middle between \ "stewing \" and \ "frying \". Pour rast. butter to cover the entire bottom, heat a little and put onions. Fry it until golden brown, put carrots and fry too. This will take about 5 minutes. Then move the regulator to the "quenching" position (I moved it a little further, that is, made the temperature lower) and put the cabbage, bell peppers and tomatoes, mix everything and cover with a lid. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring 2-3 times. Then add 50 ml of water, put bay leaves, peppercorns, salt. Cover again and simmer for another 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. When the dish is ready, switch the \ "Master-pilaf \" to the \ "heating \" mode or turn it off.

Yesterday I stewed cabbage in the Master-Pilaf. Cooking time was 35 minutes.

Especially for the Owl I give a recipe:

Well, what are you! Thank you very much, of course, but this is a recipe for everyone who has such a cauldron. Thanks again!

Eagle owl, it seems that only you and me have "Master-pilaf". The rest are only thinking about buying it.

Well, someone has to be the first ... Gagarin, Titov, Tereshkova

By the way, about your wonderful recipe - what if, along with all the indicated ingredients, put 500-600 grams of pre-fried pork in pieces? It will probably turn out pretty tasty ...

Yes, I think it will turn out delicious. I've already made cabbage with veal. It turned out quickly and unusually tender. I gave this recipe as a basis to show the capabilities of the device and in what modes you need to cook. And the ingredients and proportions can be changed according to your taste, it is not necessary to follow my recipe.

Yana, was the veal pre-fried?

Owl, I fryed the veal. In your case, with brisket, I think it also needs to be fried beforehand. I would do this: turn on "Master-pilaf" at the beginning of "frying", if the brisket is not fat, then add a little oil. Fry the brisket, add onions, carrots. Fry a little and set the regulator to "extinguishing", cover with a lid. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, depending on the amount of food. Then add cabbage and other vegetables. Simmer in this program for 20-30 minutes.

Yeah, thank you very much, Yana, for the advice. And in the next few days I'm going to try out the recipe for high-speed meat frying in the "master pilaf". It is very simple and delicious. I have cooked this roast repeatedly using the usual methods, using 2 pans to "speed up". I think that this recipe can be easily adapted for our "cauldron".

How it goes, I will describe the process and post a photo.

I love stewed cabbage very much, thanks for the recipe. Someone else would have come up with a cabbage slicer, there would be no price for such a unit.))
