As it evaporates from the leveling glass, water flows to the heater in a thin stream through a special hole in the lower part of the glass. This allows the steamer to start generating steam after just 20 seconds and dispensing steam continuously until the end of cooking.

The steam baskets are made of stainless steel AISI 304, which is absolutely safe when interacting with food. Cutlery, dishes, equipment for the production, processing and storage of products are made of steel grade AISI304.

The steamer has built-in overheating protection and protection against switching on without water. In case you forgot to add water or all the water has evaporated, but you did not notice it, the protection will work and the steamer will turn off.

Water is poured into the body of the steamer up to the “MAX” mark. The leveling glass serves to heat only a small amount of water in the glass. Through the hole in the bottom of the glass, water is automatically supplied to the heater by the method of communicating vessels. Thus, a high power of the heater is not required, and the steam supply starts within 1 minute. The tank capacity of 1 liter allows you to steam food for up to 60 minutes. The time adjustment knob sets the cooking time in the range of 1-60 minutes in 1 minute increments. In the center of the time adjustment knob there is a “Start / Stop” button with which you can start cooking or stop.
Preparation for work and use

Unpack the steamer and remove all packing materials.

Wipe the body of the steamer and the water container with a damp and then dry cloth.

We recommend rinsing the steam baskets and the restrictor bowl in warm water with a non-abrasive detergent before first use.

Place the steamer on a stable, level, horizontal surface.

Preparation for work

  • Place the restrictor bowl in the center of the steamer. The hole on the side of the glass should be at the bottom.
  • Fill with water up to the “MAX” mark. The water level should only slightly cover the MAX mark.
  • Prepare baskets, load food into them. Make sure that there are not too many products. The baskets should fit tightly into each other without gaps and the upper basket should be tightly closed with a lid.
  • Place a basket with a solid bottom on a container of water. Place the rest of the baskets on top of each other in the order you need.

Using

  • Connect the steam oven to the power supply. The display will light up.
  • Switch on the steamer with the Start / Stop button, the display will show the default time: 10 minutes.
  • Set the required cooking time by turning the time adjustment knob. Available time settings: from 1 to 60 minutes in 1 minute increments.
The time is adjusted cyclically in both directions. For example, to set a cooking time of 55 minutes, it is more convenient to turn the knob counterclockwise down.
  • After setting the time, press the “Start / Stop” button. The cooking process starts.
  • When cooking is complete, the steamer will emit a quiet beep and turn off.

Boiling eggs

Cooking boiled eggs in a double boiler has several advantages. Due to the fact that the eggs do not float in water, they will not break or crack during boiling. Thanks to the presence of a timer, you can set the cooking time precisely, and an audible ready indicator will notify you when cooking is complete.

To boil the eggs, do the following:

  • Place the restrictor bowl in the center of the steamer. The hole on the side of the glass should be at the bottom.
  • Fill with water between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks.
  • Prepare baskets. Place a basket without holes on a container of water.
  • Place the basket with holes and place the eggs vertically in the indentations. You can place from 1 to 6 eggs in each basket. In just three baskets with holes, you can boil 18 eggs.
  • Set the cooking time:
    • Hard-boiled: 12-15 minutes
    • Soft boiled: 9-11 minutes
Note. Cooking times may vary depending on the number of eggs, temperature, category and number of baskets installed.
  • Start cooking.
When the cooking time has elapsed, the steamer will beep and turn off. Careful, eggs are hot. You can use cooking tongs to remove the eggs, or gently transfer them to a pot of cold water for cleaning later.

Advice

For food to cook better, there must be space for steam to circulate between food.

Food that touches the walls may not be fully cooked, since the outside of the basket wall is cooled with air at room temperature. In order to avoid this, you can stir the food 1-2 times during cooking if it is permissible.

When cooking meat products such as poultry cutlets, if possible, place the food in the mesh baskets so that they do not touch each other and the sides of the baskets.

After boiling, steam is distributed and heats the food in a double boiler for a fairly long time: 1-10 minutes, depending on the number of baskets with food, their filling and the temperature of the food. For example, if you are cooking frozen food in 5 baskets at once, then increase the cooking time by 5-10 minutes.

First, on the body of the steamer, install only the basket without holes, and you can already install the basket with holes on it. Do not put the first basket with holes and food in it; then juice or food pieces will get into the water container and the heater and the steamer may deteriorate. Also, if the basket with holes is placed directly on the water container, the food will not be able to cook because the steam will not flow evenly.

Using five baskets at the same time can significantly increase cooking time.

Before starting to cook, check carefully that the food does not interfere with the baskets completely falling into the grooves. If there are cracks, the food may not cook.

It is not recommended to use tap water. When using tap water, scale can build up on the heating element and steam production will decrease. It is recommended to use filtered boiled water. If unboiled, unfiltered water is used, organic deposits can form in the water tank.

Steamed omelet

For 1-2 people

Cooking time: 20-25 minutes

Ingredients:

Egg - 2 pcs.

Milk - 50 ml

Salt - a pinch

Herbs to taste

Alternatively, you can make an omelet in a dish that fits in a mesh basket. Pour the omelet into the bowl and place in the mesh basket, cover the steam basket with a lid. Make sure that there is a distance of at least 0.5 mm on the sides, between the dishes and the walls of the basket for free steam circulation.

You can cook the omelet in a non-perforated basket. To do this, increase the cooking time by 5-10 minutes.

The omelet rises well, so it is not recommended to fill the steam basket or dishes with the mixture more than 1/3 of the height. Steamer cleaning and maintenance

Wipe the cabinet with a dry or damp cloth. Do not use a dishwasher to clean the steamer and its parts. The casing of the steamer is not airtight and can be damaged, and the steam baskets and lid can be stained or darkened.

When cleaning the body of the steamer or draining water, make sure the steamer is disconnected from the mains.

Do not allow moisture to get inside the body of the steamer, as this may damage it. When draining the water, tilt the body of the steamer at an angle of 45 degrees and then bring this angle to 90 degrees within 3-5 seconds, that is, drain the water with a single sweat.

com as shown in the figure. Do not allow water to enter the outer walls of the steamer cabinet or into the cabinet. If water gets in, quickly wipe off the cabinet with a dry cloth or paper towel. Leave the body of the steamer in a dry place for a long time so that all moisture has completely evaporated.

The steam baskets and lid should be washed immediately after use.Do not allow food leftovers to dry on the steam baskets or lid as this can cause stains, scratches and corrosion. The steam baskets and lid may be cleaned with a dish-washing sponge, warm water, and a non-abrasive detergent.

The water container must be emptied and dried after each use of the steamer. Do not let the water settle in the steamer for more than a day, it may bloom or start to rot and give off an unpleasant odor.

Rinse the water container and restrictor cup periodically with warm water and a non-abrasive detergent. Dry before use.

After several boils, rust or whitish limescale deposits may appear on the heating element, inside the steamer and on the restrictive glass - this is the result of using water with a high content of iron and minerals. This is due to the use of unfiltered water. To avoid rust and mineral deposits, use filtered boiled water or mechanically clean the deposits regularly with the hard side of a dishwashing sponge. Also, these deposits can be cleaned chemically with citric acid, and then let the steamer dry well before next use.

To chemically remove scale or iron deposits from the heater and confinement glass, proceed as follows.

  • Install the limiting glass.
  • Pour 1 liter of water into a steamer and set the cooking time to about 2-3 minutes.
