Hot chocolate from Chadeyka

Ingredients

Chocolate bar (slices) 3 pcs.
Cream or full-fat milk 200 ml
Sugar 1 tsp

Cooking method

Break the chocolate into small pieces and place in a cup.
Pour heavy milk or low-fat cream into a saucepan, add sugar and bring to a boil.
Add a small amount of hot milk to a cup of chocolate and work vigorously with a small whisk until a smooth and smooth consistency is obtained.
Whisk in the rest of the milk while stirring constantly.
The hot chocolate is ready. The consistency of the finished drink is not too thick, drinkable. For a thicker consistency and a pronounced chocolate flavor, reduce the amount of milk and increase the amount of chocolate to your liking. If desired, you can add spices to taste. I added about 1/2 teaspoon. "Seasoning for mulled wine" ("Kamis").

The dish is designed for

1 serving.

Corsica, Ilona, thanks for the simple recipe, you can't think of it right away, the child will surely like it. And thanks for the aesthetic photo. I want beauty against the backdrop of this endless information flow about the virus.
Corsica
Elfa, Elena, thank you for your interest in the recipe and kind words!
Yes, indeed, the recipe is very simple, but it is important not to skip premixing the chocolate with a small amount of hot milk so that the chocolate does not stratify and the finished drink has a uniform consistency.
The fact that the drink helps to overcome bad mood and anxiety, improves tone and adds strength has been written a lot, I will not repeat. I'll just add that, sometimes, a cup of hot chocolate is very useful. Especially in the neighborhood with a blanket and an interesting book or cartoons.

Oh yes!
I didn't think of using a whisk, so I drink milk with peas, chocolate does not readily combine with milk. I love it too)

TatyanaThank you for stopping by and sharing your impressions!
Yes, Chadeyka writes that hot chocolate is prepared in the same way as ganache, only in different proportions. A more creamy consistency is obtained when preparing chocolate with cream, and the consistency when cooking with milk is very dependent on the fat content of the milk, the higher the percentage, the easier it is to mix chocolate with milk.

Corsica, Ilona, cooked, delicious! But I overdid it - I put in a lot of sugar. I drink tea and coffee without sugar, I had to put a little to reveal the taste, but I swelled.
Corsica
Irinap, Irina, thank you for your feedback!

It’s a pity that it happened. Basically, 1 tsp. sugar (no top) per serving did not cause controversy among those who drink drinks with sugar and those who prefer drinks without sugar, that is, such a middle option. But, everything is very individual, thanks for writing.
Irinap
Corsica, Ilona, well, so I put 2 on 150ml
Corsica
Irina, clear. Maybe next time you can try making another cup of chocolate.
Irinap
Ilona, I will not delay, but not today.

Can't catch up with something, 3 chocolate bars per serving or 3 wedges?
3 tiles for a mug of milk seems to be as big as a fig, but 3 slices seem a little to me
Corsica
Venka, thank you for your interest in the recipe!

You can always change the proportions to your taste, recipe, step 5:

... And Chadeyka's comment on the recipe:
If he likes thick chocolate, take a whole bar for a cup, and bitter, it will be like in a cafe.
, source listed in recipe notes. But I did not cook thick chocolate, I will not tell you the taste, but just with dark chocolate you get a richer taste, with milk chocolate the taste is more creamy in the drink.
Rita
Great recipe! I love hot chocolate so much that I make it myself every day. True, small a glass a 100 ml espresso cup so that nothing sticks or cracks. My dose is 2-3 slices of dark chocolate per 100 ml of milk. But I cook it, stirring constantly. This is probably why I get it in a completely different color. But this does not exfoliate anything. We must also try your and Chadeika's algorithm.

Basically, the color of the drink is influenced by the ingredients and their proportions. When cooking with cream, the color is always milder than when cooking with milk, with the same amount of chocolate. And the more chocolate, the darker the color of the drink.

Delicious chocolate!
Venka
Corsica, thanks for the recipe! Finally, I moved on to making chocolate! For some reason, I have never done it. And then it just happened.
True, there was no cream, I made it with milk. I made half a portion for testing. It turned out to be a lot of sugar for me (1/2 tsp), next time I will be without it. And I put 3 slices of chocolate on 100ml at once. And then three more. And further. And so it was!
Warmed in a micr, rubbed with a spoon, there is no whisk. Nothing stratified, everything was delicious, sweet, hot.
I think I'll make myself a cup for my next dream ...
Corsica
Venka, thank you for your feedback!

So we write it down, option from Venki:
For 100 ml of milk there are 9 slices of chocolate. Sugarless.
... Thank you .
Irinap
Venka, that's what you screwed up! Delicious.
