    Ocean paste (imitation)
  • Cooking is not difficult. The main thing is to do it with love for your loved ones!

Note

The recipe was found in two sources. The dosage is different everywhere, but the products are the same. I already have the third dosage option).
Of course, it is best to use krill meat in the recipe. But it is much more expensive. We sold pasta during the Soviet Union. She was rare, her mother bought her reluctantly, because she disappeared very quickly. But I loved her. As for me, this imitation is not like that paste. Maybe because crab sticks are used, not krill? It seems to me that there was also something tomato in that pasta. She was very red in color. This option is also delicious. Very good for a sandwich. Recommend!

Cool pasta), you can probably still use it in a tartlet, and on top - a fish. Or caviar)
I'll try.

And in my childhood, processed cheese with krill was sold in Riga. They were light orange. I loved them very much, I went to the department store especially for them) And now I don't find anything like that. Even the salmon viola is a pitiful excuse. No, not even a semblance, but a distant variation on a theme)

Svetlana, cool. In a tartlet you can.

Tatyana, Thank you. He gave color, most likely. Well, this is definitely not available to us)

My sister still sheds tears over this paste.

It was the pure Antarctic krill that provided that flavor and color. Storage temperature of the "Ocean" protein paste - no higher than –18 ° С.

Krill gave flavor and color. The same one from which the "Ocean" protein paste was made. In the form of this paste, krill was added to the cheese.
Now some kind of shrimp is added to such cheeses, but not in this form and not in such quantity. As a result, even with the addition of special dyes, the color is not the same, and the taste is even more so.

I don’t have any fish caviar, I’ll buy it on Saturday and cook pasta. And krill meat. and shrimp ranciers

Light, and the truth is, you can adapt the tartlets for this paste.
I immediately got the idea to replace fish caviar with a banal herring and then place the finished pasta in baskets from Lena Podmoskvichy. And sprinkle a green onion on top ... I sit and drool on the way))

Natasha, no, I think we need caviar, as Angela wrote. Because it is light, visually the paste is nicer with it.

I remember the Ocean pasta that was sold in bulk many years ago, and I really liked the dessert cottage cheese balls from it.

Irene, with sugar? Maybe snack bars?
No. Precisely dessert. Sweet. They had a very unusual taste, sweet, but with a shrimp flavor. Not for an amateur, of course.
ang-kay
Irene, Wow! I haven't even heard of this)

AngelaMany years ago, when the "Ocean" pasta had just begun to appear on sale in Kiev, in some cookery they demonstrated samples of dishes from a new product. There I first tried these balls. And then they gave me a booklet with a recipe. Then I cooked them at home. And then the "Ocean" paste disappeared from sale, the recipe was lost, and we moved ...

ang-kay, Thank you! It's really delicious! I really don't know what "Ocean" pasta is, they didn't buy such things from our family. But I remember when I was a child I tried shrimp oil bought in cooking. So this paste reminded me of it. Frankly, I didn't put mayonnaise, but added lemon juice. And I took more oil.
