Oatmeal cake without baking

Unbaked oatmeal cake

Ingredients

Oat flakes 200 g
Butter 150 g
Condensed boiled milk 1 can 380 g
Nuts 100 g
Raisins 50 g
Fig 5 pieces.
Sprinkles for decoration taste

Cooking method

  • Unbaked oatmeal cakeMelt the butter over low heat and, with constant stirring, fry the flakes until golden brown and a pleasant nutty smell appears.
Unbaked oatmeal cakePrepare your desired fillers. I have such a set today, but you can diversify it to your liking. I do not recommend fresh fruits and berries, the flakes will lose their crispness. Overdried dried fruit can be refreshed by adding a little liquid (juice, water, rum) and placing it in the microwave for a minute. Nuts medium-sized (commensurate with the size of the flakes) chop
Unbaked oatmeal cakeAdd condensed milk and fillers to the flakes that have cooled to almost room temperature (but not until the oil solidifies), mix everything well and send it to the refrigerator for about an hour.
Unbaked oatmeal cakeFrom the frozen mixture, we form balls of the desired size. Mine are around 70 A.D.
Unbaked oatmeal cakeIt remains only to decorate them to your taste. I have: sesame seeds, chopped nuts, chocolate and cornflakes, coconut flakes, confectionery sprinkles.

Larissahow unusual, at least for me! I will definitely try!

dopleta, Larissa, and which flakes are better to use? Long cooking, or others?
dopleta
Anna Makl, but you know - any! I often cook from ordinary, natural rolled oats (that's how I am a conservative), but you can also take instant cooking.

Larissa, thank you for your inexhaustible imagination. I will definitely try to make it, and all the ingredients except figs are available. Replace with dried apricots? Will the peanuts go?
dopleta
Alla, with dried apricots will be even better! For me - with figs it turned out sweetish. Peanuts are great too! And thanks for the praise!

Have you already tried it, Natasha? Anyway, thanks for rating!

Larissa, interesting, thanks for the recipe!
I take it to bookmarks!
And what size oatmeal: the largest, just flattened grain (according to the photo like they are, no?) And then my medium-sized flakes are not fried, but give dust and it burns. It is impossible to fry until crisp.
dopleta
Nastya, you're right:

I never took the most instant ones, and in general I do not trust them, as well as instant noodles.
