Festive Easter cookies for children

Ingredients

Wheat flour 300 gr.
Rye flour 150 gr.
Butter 140 gr.
Powdered sugar (you can reduce the amount if the filling is also sweet) 200 gr.
Egg 2 pcs.
Honey (liquid, light) 2 tbsp. l.
Salt pinch
Vanillin, cinnamon, spices taste
Food colors - I have gel
Filling: chocolate, thermostable jam, marshmallows ...
You will also need: a patterned rolling pin, cutting in the form of an egg.

Cooking method

  • In small towns (and sometimes in large ones), on Easter, children go to their homes to celebrate Christ: recite poems or sing, and receive refreshments. Similar to Christmas carols, but a little different.
  • I propose a recipe for treats for those to whom children can knock on the door like this, and for those who will spend a holiday with their families.
  • Festive Easter cookies for children Grate melted butter with powdered sugar. Add eggs, honey. Mix flour, add salt and spices. Add flour in portions, stirring. Divide the kneaded dough into three (depending on the number of flowers) parts. Add 1-2 drops of gel dye to each of them. Wrap the individually obtained colored dough pieces in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
Festive Easter cookies for children Roll out the dough into a layer 5 mm thick, apply a pattern on one half with a rolling pin (I have a rolling pin with Smeshariki characters - we prepare a treat for children, let them be their favorite characters), leave the other smooth. Cut out an equal number of eggs from the patterned and from the smooth part by cutting in the form of an egg.
  • Festive Easter cookies for children Put the filling on the smooth part (I have grated bitter chocolate), cover with the patterned part, pinch.
Festive Easter cookies for children Repeat with the remaining dough colors.
Festive Easter cookies for children Preheat oven to 180 degrees, bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • As it bakes, the top of the cake will rise, making it look very similar to real Easter eggs.Festive Easter cookies for children
  • Bon Appetit! Congratulations on the Happy Easter!

Corsica
Catherine, thanks for the recipe while bookmarking it. Can you please tell me what color the biscuits are without dye? In the photo with a cup of tea, recipe cookies?
Catherine
Corsica, yes, it turns out beige, like the one near the cup Now I'll look for a photo without dyes, somewhere there was

Corsica, here Those that are closer to the back wall of the oven lay darker.

If you need lighter, choose the lightest flower honey and the sugar must be white. If, on the contrary, you want a blush, then darker ingredients + ginger and cinnamon
Corsica
Catherine, Thank you! Clear. Nice cookies and the pattern is clearly visible.

Catherine

Dry mixture of spices for gingerbread.
Then you need to have experience how the color of these spices reacts with the color of dyes.

Doesn't react in any way and doesn't interrupt.

Cookie egg? Cool! And where to look for such a rolling pin with smeshariki?
Catherine
mibal, glad I liked the recipe
Rolling pin Smeshariki in Yandex is looking for this more elegant, more qualitative than others seemed. I'll throw a link to the store in the LAN
