Tea liqueur

Ingredients

Your own tea (of your choice) 25 gr.
Cognac, vodka or moonshine (if you like it stronger, you can replace it with alcohol) 250 ml.
Granulated sugar 125 gr.
Vanilla sugar 10 gr.
Pure water 500 ml

Cooking method

  • I haven't looked here for a long time. I hope everyone is safe and sound.
  • So I decided to add variety to the tea theme. And offer you a recipe for tea liqueur, of course from our tea. Tea was kindly given to me to be torn apart by everyone Linadoc
  • Tea liqueur
  • Cognac can be easily replaced with moonshine or vodka of any kind, but then it should be borne in mind that the color of the finished product will be somewhat different. Cognac improves the appearance of the product and allows it to acquire subtle notes of oak barrels.
  • Cooking steps:
  • In a saucepan, mix 125 ml of water and 125 g of granulated sugar, stirring constantly, bring to a boil, continuing to cook for about 5 minutes. Cool the syrup. Brew tea in the remaining water, leave to infuse for 3-5 minutes, filter and cool. We mix syrup and brewed tea in a container, add the selected alcoholic product (moonshine, vodka, cognac, alcohol). Add vanilla sugar to the same container, then close it with a lid and transfer it to a cool room for two weeks. We pour the finished liquor into prepared containers, cork it and place it in the basement (you can put it in the refrigerator). This liqueur has no expiration date, you can use it as much as you like.
