Kissel from hibiscus

Kissel from hibiscus

Ingredients

* Water 2.5 l.
* Hibiscus (dry tea) 2.5 tbsp. l. with a slide
* Sugar taste
* Any starch 6 tsp
* Boiled water for starch 1 tbsp.

Cooking method

  • Boil water, brew hibiscus. Leave on for 10-15 minutes.
  • Strain.
  • Put on fire again. While it is heating, cut the starch in water.
  • As soon as the infusion begins to boil, we brew it with starch, with intensive hanging, so that no clots form.
  • Close the pan with a lid and leave to cool

Note

A hot drink tastes very pungent and sour. When it cools, the acidity returns to normal and the drink becomes harmonious in taste, similar to cranberry.

Natasha, I love hibiscus, that's not very jelly. BUT I will definitely try, perhaps the love for hibiscus will balance the lack of love for jelly

Ilmira, but is it worth mixing if you don't like it)) Just drink tea, and let the jelly rest

understand what's the matter! I like a capricious ... sometimes I love, sometimes I don't. It was for me from childhood that the taste in kindergarten was weakened, when in a mug there is not a liquid and pleasantly tasty drink, but a bunch of thick frozen pieces - beeeee! Here's the truth, as I remember, and still stirring up. And when the children were growing up, she cooked jelly herself, usually from cranberries and so ... well, liquid, more like fruit drink. So I think, I'll cook in the consistency to which my body normally reacts and will be happy to me

Of course you need to cook and try))
I VERY like cranberry jelly, but now there are no berries at hand. And the variant of hibiscus jelly made me quite happy. It looks like cranberry.
