Hungarian cheesecake (portioned)

Ingredients

ready-made puff yeast dough or filo dough 400gr
low-fat cottage cheese 300gr
eggs 2 pcs.
zest of 1 lemon or 1 small orange
sugar 100-120gr
baking powder 1/4 tsp
icing sugar for dusting

Cooking method

  • Very tasty and very simple stuff. At the moment when you need delicious and very fast.
  • Defrost the dough (I usually work with puff yeast).
  • Cottage cheese is needed friable, grainy, not pasty and low-fat (we have enough butter in puff pastry).
  • Beat eggs white with sugar, add cottage cheese, zest, baking powder.
  • Roll out to a thickness of 0.5 cm and cut into squares with a side of about 10 cm.In the center of each square, put a heaped tablespoon of filling and pinch the ends with an envelope (the first pair of diagonal corners well and above this tuft - the second pair of square corners diagonally well ).
  • Let the dough rise a little at room temperature (20 minutes) - it's yeast. For the filo, of course, not necessary.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes with convection at a temperature of about 180 degrees. At the beginning of baking, you can give a little steam with a spray bottle.
  • Ready to sprinkle with powdered sugar. That's all)).
  • If you do not have enough filling, which happens to me regularly, you can cut anything into these envelopes like pizza: ham, cheese. You can make an unsweetened curd filling, which I respect very much: cottage cheese, a little egg, salt and pepper, garlic through a press and dill / herbs. They will be no less chic, although not dessert.
