  • But the next day, December 25, people go to visit friends and acquaintances for a festive dinner.
  • I have a friend who is a former work colleague with whom we attended these Christmas dinners.
  • Today I want to share one of them with you.
  • We will have duck soup with spetzle and the duck itself with potato clays.
  • We cut the duck into meat pieces and a ridge with ribs.

  • We set the bones to cook, and marinate the meat parts. For the marinade, I took soy sauce, pomegranate sauce, garlic, paprika and chili, a little suneli hops. We put it out in the cold for a day.
  • Put the finished broth in the cold, I always do this to remove the fat later.
  • The next day, remove the meat from the duck bones, strain the broth.
  • Add onions and carrots, put the potatoes to a boil.
  • Now we start making the dough for the spezle.
  • Break 2 eggs into a bowl, add salt and whisk.
  • Add semolina, mix. Now we start adding flour, I add a tablespoon. Add until the dough turns out like a pancake, maybe a little thicker.
  • If you have a lot of broth, then you can double the portion, or mix the eggs first with either milk or mineral water.
  • Spetzle is either rubbed through a special grater or squeezed out through a press. I did it through the press.
  • As the soup boils, turn it off and sprinkle with dill.
  • It turned out to be a very tasty soup, the broth was rich, fragrant.

  • There are no problems with cooking duck, put it in a slow cooker, turn on the high and wait.
  • Clezes are a very popular dish, they are made either from mashed potatoes or from ground crackers. There are a lot of semi-finished products on sale, you just need to throw the bag with the preparation into the water.
  • But I made real klezes from mashed potatoes.
  • Boil the potatoes, wrinkle them, let them cool slightly. Add eggs, semolina or crackers, starch and flour. We look at the flour again by its consistency. The dough should not be quite thick, but so that you can roll a bun out of it with wet or greasy hands.
  • We put the koloboks in water and cook for 20-25 minutes without a lid.
  • Our duck has been standing in the morning and is just ready for dinner, we set the table, put the gluwein on the stove to cook, we are waiting for guests.
