Description of the waffle maker Kitfort KT-1638

Preparation for work and use

Place the waffle iron on a flat, horizontal, stable surface, at least 15 cm from walls and other objects and at least 10 cm from the edge of the table.

Before first use, wipe the working surfaces of the panels with a damp cloth and dry. Turn on the waffle iron, set the temperature regulator to maximum and let it run for 10-15 minutes to burn grease and other materials from the heating element and panels that may have remained there after production. During the heating process, a specific smell or a small amount of smoke may appear, this should not confuse you. When finished heating, turn off the waffle iron, let it cool down, then wipe the panels with a damp cloth and dry. Repeat warm-up and cleaning with a second set of panels.
Baking waffles

Install the waffle baking panels, plug the waffle maker into the power supply, the power indicator will light up. Close the lid and wait for the waffle iron to heat up. When the working surface of the panels reaches the working temperature, the heating indicator will light up.

Open the cover by opening the clip and lubricate the working panels with a little oil or grease.

Pour the dough into the center of the bottom panel. Do not pour too much dough, otherwise it will run out at the edges.

Close the cover gently. Do not close it abruptly to avoid splashing the dough.

Bake the waffles for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Open the lid periodically to visually assess readiness.

When the baked goods are ready, open the lid and remove the baked goods with a heat-resistant wooden or silicone stick or spatula.Do not use plastic objects that are not resistant to high temperatures, or metal or sharp objects to remove them to avoid damaging the non-stick coating of the panels.

Before pouring the next batch of dough, it is recommended to lightly grease or sprinkle the panels with oil or grease. Pour the dough only when the heat indicator is on, it means the panels have reached the baking temperature.

Bake the sandwiches for 1-3 minutes on the sandwich pan. Open the lid periodically to visually assess readiness.

Advice

Do not use low-fat margarine or spreads for baked goods, as they can overheat at low temperatures, forming dark deposits that can cause the baked goods to stick to the hobs.

Ready-made waffles can be stored frozen. Line them with baking paper and place in a bag or container, then place in the freezer. Heat frozen waffles in a microwave oven, oven, heated waffle iron or in a skillet for 2-3 minutes.
