Hasselbeck chicken breast (light version)

Hasselbeck chicken breast (light version)

Ingredients

One serving
breast fillet 1 piece
small sweet pepper 1 piece
soft cottage cheese 20-25 grams
low-fat hard cheese (I have 7%) taste
garlic 1 small clove
salt pepper taste

Cooking method

  • The recipe was sent in a mailing list to the phone.
  • Looked at the original version. It uses mozzarella and tomatoes for the filling.
  • The lighter version suited me more. Firstly, mozzarella is a bit fat for me, and it is not always there in the fridge, and I have not yet been allowed to eat tomatoes.
  • So I prepared what I received.
  • Made for 4 servings.
  • First I made the peppers.
  • They must be baked. Usually I do it in a bag in the oven, but today it was lazy to heat it up. I decided to try it in the microwave.
  • I washed the peppers, put them in a regular plastic bag, tied the ends in a knot.
  • They baked for a total of 10 minutes at a power of 700 watts, 5 + 5 minutes. Then the micra was turned off and left for 10 minutes. She took it out, put it on a plate and cooled it completely.
  • The peppers turned out to be just what you need, after cooling the peel went off perfectly, which was what I needed.

  • If baking is necessary for peeling peppers, this quick method is great.
  • Peel the peppers, cut them first into thin strips, then into small cubes.
  • Add garlic passed through a press, cottage cheese to the peppers, mix everything.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Wash the breasts, dry them, season with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Put in a foil lined mold and make deep, not through, oblique cuts.
  • Hasselbeck chicken breast (light version)
  • Fill the cuts with the filling.

  • Sprinkle with coarsely grated cheese on top.

  • Put on a wire rack in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
  • Bake for about 35-40 minutes. Then turn off the oven, carefully take out the form, close it on top with foil and put it back for 30 minutes.
  • Serve with vegetables.

Thank you, Lenochka, I will definitely try. But the original recipe was also interesting. Did I understand correctly that tomatoes are replaced with peppers, and mozzarella is replaced with cottage cheese? Or mozzarella on top?

Cheers to Vera
In the original - the breast is salted, pepper, greased with olive oil.
Put a slice of mozzarella, a slice of tomato and a leaf of basil into the cuts.
Two in one - hot and caprese salad

Lenok, wonderful meat. Delicious both in your performance and in the original. And I would probably add tomatoes to yours, I love them. Simple and delicious!
Podmosvichka
Irish, thanks
I would also put a tomato, but not at all, I hope not for long
