Ingredients

beef 500g
potatoes (medium) 4-5 pcs
bell pepper (large) 1 PC
carrots (medium) 2 pcs
celery stalk 1-2 pcs
onion (large) 1 PC
garlic 2-3 cloves
tomato paste 1 tbsp. l.
utskho-suneli (or you can take khmeli-suneli) 0.5 tsp
pepper mix 0.5 tsp
salt, water, vegetable oil

Cooking method

  • Many years ago I was surprised at the love of my friend for the lagman. It was his signature dish, but I did not dare to cook it. About a year ago, I came across this recipe. How I regretted then that I had not cooked it before. Very tasty and aromatic.
  • So I'll tell you how I cook it (I removed only one spice and hot pepper from the original recipe (since the little son also eats, and plus with the younger guards). If there are no problems, feel free to add half a hot pepper, cut into small rings along with the seeds ...
  • Cut the beef into small pieces

  • and fry in a small amount of vegetable oil until golden brown in a cauldron. I do not have it, so I use a deep frying pan with a thick bottom.

  • Pour water into the level with meat (just below) and simmer under the lid until cooked for about 1-1.5 hours.
  • At this time, we will prepare the vegetables.
  • We cut the carrots lengthwise and each half into cubes diagonally, celery diagonally, pepper in approximately the same slices (I like it large), I cut the potatoes in half, each half into 3 slices, and then each slice is still in half, large cubes are obtained.
  • The water evaporates almost after the specified time, add the garlic (finely chopped or passed through a press) and the onion in half rings. Fry for a minute.
  • The scent starts out awesome. Add salt, spices and tomato and fry for about a minute.
