Apple casserole with streusel (slow cooker)

Ingredients

Apples 500 g
Sugar 40-50 g
Vanilla sugar 1 tsp
Raisins (optional) 25 g
Cinnamon 1 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp. l.
Potato starch 1 tsp
White wine, apple juice or sect 75 ml
For Streisel:
Flour 100 g
Oat flakes 25 g
Brown sugar 75 g
Butter, soft 75 g
Salt pinch

Cooking method

  • Cut apples into cubes. Stir in spices, starch, sugar and raisins, add lemon and apple juice or wine. Place in a bowl. Prepare the streusel. Grind soft butter with a fork, flour, oatmeal and sugar until coarse lumps. Place in a bowl on top of the apples.
  • Cook on HIGH mode - 2.5 hours or LOW mode - 4.5-5 hours.
  • Cool down. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Note

This is not really a casserole in our understanding. At the bottom there are apples in a thick sauce, and on top of a streusel soaked in juice that the apples gave.
Did everything according to the recipe. Only there was no potato starch, I took corn 1 tbsp. l. And instead of wine, there was apple juice.
This is delicious.
