Stew of frozen vegetables in the KitFort slow cooker 2010

Ingredients

Frozen mix * Mexican vegetables *, 400 g 2 packs
Round rice, raw 2 tbsp. l.
Sour cream 100-200ml
Salt pepper taste
Soy sauce, optional taste

Cooking method

  • Rinse the rice to clean water. Put 2 packs of frozen vegetable mixture, 400 g each, in a slow cooker bowl (I cooked both with the LECHO mixture, and with the RATATUI mixture and with the PAPRIKASH mixture, the mixture is put to your taste)
  • Add rice, salt, pepper and sour cream, stir and condense in a bowl.
  • Cook on MAX mode
  • 2.5-3 hours in time, stirring once to make sure all vegetables are covered with liquid)
  • Try the hardest vegetables for readiness, if everything is ready, then turn off and serve, adding sour cream, pepper, salt, or soy sauce, if necessary

The dish is designed for

2-3 portions

Time for preparing:

3 hours

Cooking program:

MAX

Note

This is more likely not even a recipe, but a cooking method, but the girls from the topic asked and I issued a separate recipe.
The question of whether it is worth cooking frozen food in a slow cooker without the AUTO mode (intended for frozen food as well) should be decided by each housewife herself, having assessed the possible risk of damaging the bowl due to temperature differences.

Finally! I drag it to bookmarks and confirm - it's very tasty! Once I put more sour cream (I love it) and cooked it longer (it happened) and even so delicious.

For more satiety and for a variety of taste, you can thicken the sauce in the minced stew.
To do this, I take 250 g of minced chicken, fry it in a pan in a mixture of vegetable and butter, trying to break the lumps as small as possible, salt, pepper, season with dried garlic.
Then I add 150-200 ml of milk and grind the minced meat almost in mashed potatoes, at the same time boiling it a little.
Then I add the minced meat to the bowl, along with the products indicated in the recipe and cook, as I wrote above.
The sauce with minced meat sets off the taste of vegetables well and is invisible for children who do not eat chicken well.

Deana,
Dina, good health, glad that you liked it.

Mirabel,
Vika, we also really love the Mexican mixture in sour cream
