Ingredients

Frozen white sea fish (mackerel, herring) 2-3pcs
Red fish (pink salmon, chum salmon) 1pc \ 2-3 steak
Psyllium 2 tsp
Salt pepper taste

Cooking method

  • Sea fat fish roll We clean the fish, separate it from the bones. This photo shows pink salmon and herring. Cut fillet strips to the size of the container - I have glasses from Maheev jam. Salt, pepper, add psyllium and stir.
  • Sea fat fish roll We fill the glasses tightly, you can additionally tamp with a glass of a smaller diameter. On top I put slices of Moroccan sauerkraut lemons and dill stalks. Place plastic bags folded several times under the lids so that no water gets under them during the cooking process.
  • Sea fat fish roll We place glasses in the bowl of Shteba, fill with water. The maximum you can put there is 5 glasses, this time I have only 3. I press down with a grate on top. Heating mode, 60 degrees, 1.5 hours. After cooking, place in the refrigerator, cut only the next morning (otherwise it will fall apart).
  • Sea fat fish roll The smaller roll is made of pink salmon with herring, the larger roll is made of chum salmon with mackerel.
  • Sea fat fish roll The top row (pink salmon with herring) turned out to be denser - the fish were slightly less in weight by the same amount of psyllium.

Note

To enrich our diet with omega-3 fatty acids, we need to eat marine fatty fish. Salmon and trout are now available to few people, but herring, mackerel, pink salmon and chum salmon are quite. Separately, pink salmon and chum salmon are rather dry, and in a company with fatty mackerel and herring, they add color to the roll. There is no pungent smell of mackerel with this method of preparation at all. Herring is worse because you have to carefully remove the bones, and the taste of both options is almost equal. Instead of gelatin, Psyllium behaved perfectly (as, indeed, always), enriching the dish with useful soluble fiber.

And the form for rolls is suitable, for cheese and sibcakes - to a lesser extent.
