Furikake with dry tuna flakes

Ingredients

Nori 3 sheets (not wide),
Sesame 20 grams
Dry tuna shavings 10 tablespoons chopped shavings
Salt 1/3 teaspoon
Granulated sugar 1/3 teaspoon
Paprika taste

Cooking method

  • FURIKAKE WITH DRY TUNA SHAVES
  • Nori - 3 sheets (not wide),
  • Sesame seeds - 20 grams,
  • Dry tuna shavings - 10 tablespoons of chopped shavings,
  • Salt - 1/3 teaspoon
  • Granulated sugar - 1/3 teaspoon,
  • Paprika - to taste
  • Preheat a skillet and fry the nori sheets over medium heat for no more than 30 seconds on each side. First cut into transverse strips, then finely. Fry sesame seeds in a preheated pan over medium heat until slightly golden brown, stirring constantly. Careful, it can burn out quickly. Place half (10 grams) of sesame seeds in a grinder or coffee grinder, add salt and sugar and grind. Finely chop the dry tuna shavings. Combine the chopped nori, sesame seeds ground with salt and sugar, not ground sesame seeds, chopped dry tuna flakes and add a little paprika.
  • Delicious. I also cooked with smoked squid, I liked it less. If desired, add dry garlic when grinding.

Note

Furikake is a Japanese condiment sprinkled over cooked hot rice. I also use it with buckwheat. Delicious too. I posted the recipe in this section, because there was no suitable seasoning.

sleepyhead, thanks for the interesting seasoning recipe! I'll take it on board. I think it would be great to pair with red rice.

Interesting.
We must be puzzled to look for tuna shavings in Bryansk.
Thank you .

500 grams 1800 rubles

so this is a whole bag, it will last for a long time, it's light. 10 tablespoons approximately 20 grams.

A .. I didn't read it carefully. 1800 ... it's expensive. Today they brought me 50 grams from the market for 150 rubles. Too expensive.

Now I figured out the cost. More or less like this:
Sesame 20 grams - 15 rubles,
Dry tuna shavings (20 grams) - 60 rubles,
Nori (3 sheets) - 63 rubles
Total - 138 rubles.
The yield of the finished spice is about 50 grams, which is enough for about 8 times.
Ready-made Furikake in our online stores costs about 300 rubles, the weight of the package is 30-40 grams.

We need to strain our son in Moscow.
They make sushi, maybe find a small package.

Today I compared a factory furikake and a homemade one. I liked mine even more.

Oh, this is a gorgeous thing, I got hooked on it. I heard about this seasoning, even bought and dried small fish in order to make homemade ones (it seems that the meaning of this seasoning is to enrich the diet with calcium and use small fish, grind it whole, with bones). But here we got a ready-made one and while we are eating it. Oh-very tasty, it is still spicy, everything we love. With rice - perfect. But I also love to make bulgur with it, pasta, sprinkle on eggs. And in general, use as salt (it is quite salty) and at the same time a flavoring and texture additive. In contrast to soft rice etc., furikake is very tasty crunchy. Recently I did something like potato pancakes in a waffle iron. I didn’t add salt and sprinkle it on ready-made draniko waffles.
