For various dishes I use a simple recipe: I take 2 fairly large beets. I cut them into rings. I fill it with 3 liters of water. I add a slice of bread and leave it for 2-4 days. I remove the foam. How to ferment - can be used. I pour the kvass into another jar and put it in the refrigerator. There it can be stored for several weeks.

If I prepare beet kvass for drinking, then I add not bread, but raisins, and in the summer - raspberries. And on the second day I put the zest, thinly cut (without white) from two oranges. Or with orange and lemon. You can add a few cherry leaves.
