  • The day begins with porridge, I believe that "as you burst, you will sink." Hearty porridge gives a boost of vivacity for a whole day at work.
  • I accidentally found a mention of Suvorov porridge in the internet, she really interested me. In addition, modern nutritional science has confirmed that porridge made from a mixture of cereals is healthier than from one, since each cereal has its own chemical composition, and the more cereals are used in the mixture, the higher the nutritional value of the porridge. And for more than 2 years now, sometimes this porridge appears on our table.
  • I make porridge when in a cast iron, when in a saucepan, and I will give a description for a multicooker. There is practically no difference.
  • Let's start cooking, the porridge does not cook quickly and I start cooking in the evening.

  • Mix the peas and pearl barley, wash and pour cold water for at least 1 hour, I did this from evening to night.

  • In the morning (or after an hour), boil water and rinse the millet with boiling water, I rinse it with boiling water three times to remove the specific rancidity in its taste.
  • Drain the water from the peas and pearl barley.
  • Put all the cereals and peas in a slow cooker, pour the "mixture" with 500 ml of hot boiling water, if you want a thinner then 600 ml, salt to taste. Switch on the "Rice-Groats" program for 1 hour.

Since nothing is fried, and the back of the chicken is not greasy, but the taste is chicken-chicken, then the porridge turned out to be so "soft" to the taste, I like it, and I cook all the soups without fries anyway.
