Finnish Potato Salad (Perunasalaatti)

Ingredients

boiled potatoes in their uniforms 330-350 g
pickles 90 g
red salad onion 45 g
fresh dill 1.5-2 Art. l
sour cream 100 g
mustard ready 1 tsp
sugar 1 tsp
salt taste

Cooking method

  • Finnish Potato Salad (Perunasalaatti)Boil potatoes in their skins until cooked without adding salt. Cool, peel and cut into 1x1 cm cubes.

Note

If desired, boiled or baked chicken can be added to the salad. But more often than not, salad can be found in Finnish cafes in this form.
