I have prepared "Wreaths".
With a filling, I did not calculate. I decided (as usual) - the more the better! But, not in this recipe! A filling of 2.5 apples for the eyes was enough for 500 grams of dough. Instead of raisins (do not eat mine!) I put dried cranberries.
At first, I didn't quite understand how to fold the dough. The strips turned out to be short, the filling crawled out, curled badly and was enough for only 1 turn, the dough did not stick together (from the abundance of the filling) .... in general, I pummeled! By the end I adapted.
But I have a long way to the wreaths ... rather, some incomprehensible curls - cuttlefish.
Baked quickly.
Fluffy, coy, gentle.
I made the fondant 2 times. First ready (purchased). It didn't work. It turned out rather a mass of milking molding. I threw it away. Then she did it as in the recipe. But for some reason she did not smear well on the wreaths, but terribly adhered to her fingers! 🤣 she was tortured. And only a piece was enough. on 10! The rest were left uncovered.
Honestly, fudge tastes better! The sour taste of fondant greatly complements the sweet wreaths.
Thanks for the recipe. Tasty, fast enough, but I’ll hardly repeat it. Simply, I try to bake it quickly, without unnecessary body movements, simply. Due to the lack of time. I liked the filling and fondant very much. Most likely I will use it, just in a simpler form! Apparently, I just haven't grown up to such beautiful products! Sorry!
But I advise everyone to try it! It's really delicious! And don't be afraid to do it! It's just that it turned out awkwardly for me. Today is not my day!
Puff apple wreaths- here are my cuttlefish from the oven.
Puff apple wreaths- and now on a platter.

MariS
guzel, thanks for the detailed description!
The wreaths turned out to be normal - maybe just a little fried ... And I really like such painstaking work, where to twist and sculpt something ... soothes the nerves. But to each his own.
