Ingredients

Dough
Butter (room temperature) 60 g
Egg (C1) 1 PC.
Sugar 25 g
Flour / s 120 g
Baking powder 0.5 tsp
Top layer
Apples 3 pcs.
Lemon juice 1 tbsp. l.
Baileys 2 tbsp. l.
Warm water 1 tbsp. l.
Egg (C1) 3 pcs.
Sugar 40 g
Flour / s 40 g
Baking powder 1/3 tsp
Additionally 1 tbsp. l.
Almond petals 30 g
Powdered sugar 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Pie Apple wedgesPour flour mixed with baking powder into a bowl. Add butter, egg and sugar.
  • Pie Apple wedgesKnead a smooth dough, wrap in plastic and put in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  • Pie Apple wedgesCut apples, peeled from the middle and skin, into slices 3-5 mm. Pour in lemon juice, 1 tbsp. l. baileys and stir.

  • Pie Apple wedgesSeparate the whites from the yolks. Beat the yolks with warm water, 1 tbsp. l. baileys and sugar.

  • Pie Apple wedgesPour in flour mixed with baking powder, mix.
  • Pie Apple wedgesAdd the whipped yolk mass to the resulting mass. Mix.
  • Pie Apple wedgesPut half of the resulting mass in a mold with dough.
  • Pie Apple wedgesLay out the apples.
  • Pie Apple wedgesCover the apples with the remaining mass.
  • Pie Apple wedgesSprinkle with almond petals. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes until tender and dry. Take a look in your oven. Cool the finished cake in a mold, since it is very tender.
  • Pie Apple wedgesFree the cooled cake from the mold, transfer to a dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar

Olga, yes, very delicate and fluffy, but not juicy. Apples in the dough. Baileys goes like a flavoring additive - (well, I love adding it to baked goods), it can be replaced with aromatic syrup. No almonds are good too. Juicy right here
